EVA SCARLET KNIGHT.

Scene. (Continue.)

"We need to talk." I say and settle myself on the bed, distancing from My mate.

He gets his upper body laid against the head board of the bed and faces me.

His hand automatically glides over my thigh in comfort.

"What you want to talk about.?" I see his eyes narrow in question when I move my thighs away from his hand. I feel bad for my action of not kissing him on lips. I need to clear the air between us before we proceed further in our relationship.

In the back corner of my mind, I have some doubt.. would he be happy about my pup..?

I glance a look on Liam's face and he has no expression on his face and I sense him talking to his Wolf.

"Eva., Um I must tell you that, Leo and I would never cheat on you. Anna and you are our precious thing that has happened to us. I need you in my life. Leo told me and we are sorry if you feel something we did wrong, but we want you to know our intentions were pure." He sits up straight and face me.

"I know you think I got involved with Elisa, but it's not what happened.

She tried to make a move on me even knowing that I am marked and mate's to you.

So, Leo got angry on her for her cheap moves of her seduction and attacked her.

She was in hospital for a week and her father Alpha Daniel wanted take revenge for Leo's action by threatening our pack as she was heir of the their Crimson Elite Pack." Liam's hands automatically holds mine and I let him.

It's calming when he unconsciously make such gestures of love.

I look in his Blue eyes and I see love in them, only for me.

"So I got threat from Alpha Daniel, about leaving you, and mating with his daughter or go on a pack war, he also threatened that he would destroy my pack, if i didn't agree to his terms.

At that, Leo went crazy in anger, with out you to calm us down and we went to war." His hold on my hand tighten.

"Why didn't you tell me about what's going on, then? I could have helped you." I say as a whisper.

"I felt like you were ignoring my calls. I tried to video call you but you were always at the hospital. I know you get worried over small things, so I just tried to calm my wolf own my own but it didn't work. I just didn't wanted to bother you over my problems." He says and I feel sadness in his reasoning.

I know its all my fault, if I haven't left Liam he wouldn't have went on the war with Crimson Elite Pack.

Liam let's out a needed breath "Leo wanted to run over to your pack and keep you safe. But dad advised me to let you stay there under the safety of Alpha Haden. So I agreed, even though It pained me to stay away from you."

"I am sorry.." I let out a sob and tears run down my face as I know he did this for me.

He moves his head and give me a small kiss on the lips and I let my hands glide over the hook of his neck and he deepens the kiss. I let out a moan In pleasure.

"I missed you Eva. Only thing kept me alive in that dark room was the thought of you. I knew you were safe. I just prayed to Moon goddess to keep you safe and healthy." He whisper in my ears which calms my body.

After few minutes I ask. "What happened in the Stonewell Mansion?" Leo was found near the lake by the Stonewell Mansion on No-Pack land, it has definitely some sort of link to my mate's missing In the war.

"I followed Alpha Daniel into the forest tunnel, during the fight. His enforcers were almost all dead, him being heavily injured during the war, he tried to flee away so Leo followed. In the deep end of the forest tunnel his Beta Luke and some enforcers were already present with some cylinder filled with some stingy gas, it smelled like chlorine. Leo tried attacked his men but fell down unconscious. It must be that stingy chlorine gas."

"No, it was not Chlorine but Soltoxin. It's similar to chlorine but much more dangerous. Your body was injected with huge amount of it and we had to remove it out of your system to keep you alive." I whisper. I am so greatful to Moon Goddess that Liam is alive and safe. I try to control my sobs and let Liam speak about his experience, in the tunnel.

"Then I woke up to someone kicking in my ribs, in a small dark room........

LEO KNIGHT.

"Wake up you mutt.... Wake up."

Some one kicks me in the ribs and I hold back my growl. I don't have any energy to do anything let alone kill this effing man.

"Leo. Are you okay? Say something Leo..." Liam asks my in the back of my mind. He is trying to give me some energy but it's not enough. I feel suffocated and it's difficult to breath. I need to rest, just close my eyes and drift along with sleep.

"Boss ... he is all knocked out." The man says in the phone and gives a last kick on my ribs and walks away. If I were no Alpha, surly I would have died by now.

Few seconds later few men walk in the dark room and grab me by my fur and slides my furry body, all across my furry body to the other end of the room, and chains my paws with silver cuffs to the wall.

My body feels sudden burning of silver on my skin.

I tried to link back to Liam in the back of my mind but it's difficult. I just don't have any strength left in me.

"Leo don't close your eyes. Just stay strong. If you sleep we both will die and you know we need to get back to our mate. Think about Eva and her wolf Anna. We need to get back alive for her and our pack. You are Alpha Leo." Liam mind links me. His voice in my mind is irritating me, why doesn't he let me sleep. I just need a nap and I will recover and get back to my Mate.

"Just stay strong... Moon Goddess will surely send us some help. I know our pack is looking out for us, if not us then Eva. Surely our mate will come for us." Liam's babbles in my mind.

...

Few minutes later.

Someone walks up to me and starts to laugh.

"Ha ha ha ha... what a pity!" he spits on my face. "Alpha or I say pity little Alpha pup.." he dramatically pause for few seconds and laughs.

"It was so foolish of you to follow Daniel back in the tunnel. Do you know it was my plan to get you killed in the hands of Daniel and then acquire all of his pack and yours by killing him as well. His daughter is my mate and on my advice she went to seduce you in your pack. She convinced her father that you were her mate and rejected her for some side chick Eva." I let out a small roar when he talks about my mate like that.

"And I knew you were possessive over your mate so I introduced the concept of getting into pack war. And that Brainless Alpha agreed." He laughs.

Inside me something stirs and I hiss and show him my extended biting Canines. Silver chains are biting my limbs.

He kicks me again several times in the ribs and sharp pain erupts in my torso. "Leo we need to kill him. He shit-talked about our Eva." Liam says in the back of my mind and I agree.

He adjust his shirt when he is done. "You see I have a date night with my Mate Elisa. And before that I have to check upon My dying Alpha Daniel." He place his right foot on my broken ribs and press it in a cruel manner.

"So I should get going now but don't you worry my men will keep you company while I am gone. I will try to visit you by tomorrow." He cruelly laughs and walks to one of his men.

"I want him alive to see his mate die in front of his eyes and see his pack under my control." He gives his men instructions and walks out of the pack.

"WE CAN'T SEE OUR MATE DIE. WE NEED TO PROTECT HER AND OUR PACK, LEO. JUST GET THE EFF UP AND KILL THEM ALL." Liam roars in my mind.

It was the last draw that we let Luke insult our mate and our pack.

Liam's beastly roar wakes me up from my half sleepy state and I feel sudden energy wave from him in my body which is just enough to tackle them all.

Next thing I know, I get up from the ground and with some pressure to break all the chains which are tied to my paws, and lunge my heavy body on the men and rip their head off one by one. My beasty mode is on and I don't wait for anybody to attack. I just lunge from men to men and rip their head.

There were about ten of them lying on the floor. I walk out of the room and try to follow Luke's scent but it's all covered with Chlorine smell which makes my breathing difficult. I just let out an deafening roar and run out of this place.

In the open land, I sniff the place but I don't recognise the area. It all covered by tress around and there is no smell in the air and no sign of civilization.

I let my wolf hearing concentrate and I hear water flowing in near by distance and follow the sound.

In the mid run I skip my step and stumble upon a tree roots.

"I can't breath. Need Mate." It's the last words I mind link Liam before my lump body goes into sleep.

LIAM KNIGHT.

By the end of my long story I see Eva's face all covered in tears.

Her emotional state is felt inside my body, Liam want me to console our mate for the past and reminds me to Kill Beta Luke of Crimson Elite Pack.

"I just have one thing left now"

"What is it?" She asks as she wipes off her face with her sleeve of her over sized black Hoodie.

"To kill Luke. He insulted you and my pack. I can't let him live." I say in anger and she kisses me on my cheek and hugs me for long time.

"I am glad to get you back home." She whispers.

....

After few minutes she breaks her hug and says "As much I like to see you naked you need to get dressed up, My mate. You will get cold, you haven't recovered fully yet." Sassy Eva is back. I am glad this incident hasn't affected her deeply as i thought.

She Wiggles out of my grasp and walks into the closet.

"I will Call for Dr. Miller to check upon you." She babbles again as she choose clothes from the closet for me.

"And you need to get back on good and healthy diet. You have gone so slim."

She walks back in the bedroom and hands me over my boxer briefs and black sweatpants with matching hoodie.

"We are matching. Kitten." I say when I get dressed up in similar hoodie lik hers and she just smiles and forces me to lay back on the bed.

I hear knock on the door. "Coming." Eva calls out and slowly walks out of the room in the living room to the door.
