EVA SCARLET.

Scene. (Liam's apartment, next morning.)

When I lazily open my eyes, find myself on Liam's bed. My body is all aching with pain which both annoys me and pleases me at the same time. Liam's body is engulfing my body in a protective manner, his touch is light but tinkles run through my body where ever his skin meets mine. Suddenly all the events from the last night come in my mind, Leo carrying me to his apartment, marking me with his canines, and us having that intense fight before that.

"Thank Goddess you woke up." Anna's says in my mind.

"Yeah and my whole body feels like it's been run over by a truck." I say as I try to move my body to the side away from Liam's body. His body stirs and his hold over my waist tightens. Goddess he is trying to snuggle his face in my hairs and it has a cool affect on my body.

"Meow,. Meow." I hear and see Mr. Prickles walk-in the bedroom with his tail pointing upwards and forming a S shaped. He has a bright baby pink bow on his head and he doesn't even smell bad. Mr. Prickles walk over the Liam's side of the bed and jumps over the bed and snuggle in between me and Liam. He tries to scratch Liam's face with his paws.

"Umm.. don't.." Liam says in his sleepy voice. His eyes are still closed but his free hand moves over Mr. Prickles furry body. They both look so cute all snuggled up together. Liam's hold over my body loosens somewhat and I sneak my body into the bathroom for a shower.

In the shower I feel something is observing me. It's a strange feeling and it's quite new. Anna is even silent in the back of my mind. "I see you are awake my sweetheart. You didn't wake me, I could have joined you for a shower." It's Liam's voice in my head. It comes to my senses that I have bonded over the mate bond with him last night. Now, his thoughts and mine could be heard through our link. It's also the symbol which represents that I have joined his pack. "Are you still mad at us.?" He tries to connect with me but I don't say a word and cut his link off. It takes more power than usual to avoid his power through the link.

I hear a knock on the bathroom door and I had to turn the shower off to listen what he has to say. "Sorry Eva. I didn't mean to mark you without your permission but you angered Leo last night enough to force him to take this step. I want you to believe me that Leo and I love you and we will not harm our mate."

After shower I wrap my body in the bathrobe and step out in bedroom. I just don't feel like talking to Liam now as I want to spend time alone with myself.

Last couple of hours have been very exhausting and I want to just lay in some corner with a good book in my hand and relax before I have to make further plans about my future.

Liam is sitting on the bed and when he glance a look at me, he stands up and I see his eyes filled with lust, desire and emotion of some guilt. The room suddenly feels smaller and it's hard for me to hold my emotions around him. I try to ignore what I am feeling and walk straight into the closet.

I gasp at the sight of the transformed closet.

Walking in, I see the closet is almost filled with different types of clothing, especially women clothing, different type of jewellery lay on the centre table and about two filled boxes of branded watches lay beside them.

"I have to go on training grounds to train so I was hoping you would join me.?" Liam asks me the question as he stands on the entrance of the door to the closet. I just want to spend sometime alone with a book and a cup of coffee. I have to even plan for my future as a part of this pack. Liam must have read something on my face when he just smiles, "On second thought you should rest for a day or two. I have a meeting in my office after training session which will be probably boring and till lunch. We can have lunch together and go for a walk in the evening..," he says hesitantly. I just stand there in the closet giving him silent treatment. "...so I will get ready now."

He just hesitantly walks out of the closet to give me space. I tend to have a habit of shutting down a part of me when I don't want to be with anyone. It's just that I need more time to recharge my social battery. I just take in a deep breath and embrace myself for the feeling of guilt towards my mate.

"Meow. Meow.." I look around the source of the sound. Mr. Prickles is sitting on something fluffy which almost looks like some torn fabric of the dress which i was wearing last night.

Now, It's torn in to many different sections and is thrown away in the laundry basket like a piece of unwanted paper. It has been a proper gown last night but the state it is lying in the basket is unrecognisable, forming a heap of mountain next to dresser. Mr. Prickles is sitting exactly on the dress fabric mountain and is cleaning his whiskers with his tongue.

I pet his head and scratch his fluffy ears before getting dress up in my old clothes which I have brought with me from home. Home, I miss my apartment back in my pack. It was small, cosy and comfortable, I could have spent more time reading a book on my window sail. I miss that place a lot.

"Let's get you something to eat roommate." I say to Mr. Prickles and pick him up from the laundry basket. I carry him to the pantry, where Mrs. Rally, Liam's cleaner kept his cat food and his eating bowels.

After giving Mr. Prickles some food, I settle myself on the stool near the kitchen counter with a cup of coffee. Goddess believe me that I need a cup of coffee before starting my day.

"I am going to training grounds, Sam and Mark will be by the door to help you and guard you, if you need anything else just mind link me." He come up behind me and cups my cheeks in his palms before kissing me on my lips. It was one of the brief kisses we have shared and I find my longing for more when he pulls his mouth away from my lips. "Goddess you are so beautiful." He whispers before he takes away his hands and walk out of the room. Him praising me is one of the highlights of my day.

Few hours later, Mrs. Rally, Liam's house keeper walks in the living room which is by the apartment kitchen. She is a chatty women in her late fifties, Liam's mother introduced us the other day when I was staying in his parents house. She is nice women also tell some great stories about Liam's childhood. Her mate is a construction worker and she has two children who are currently in collage. She is a great acquaintance and she has practically brought up Liam as one of her sons.

"Good morning Luna." She bows her head in respect.

"Good morning, Mrs. Rally, please just call me Eva." I say and she just smiles and walk behind the kitchen counter.

"So what do you want for breakfast. We can either make it here or go to pack kitchen to get something and meet everyone in the pack." She winks at me. She knows about my shy nature with group of people and it's pack members who live in the pack house and work In the pack offices, all of them getting together to eat and judge their future Luna. I don't want to face all of the pack members alone, you can also believe that I will be acting all clumsy in front of them.

"I will skip today's breakfast." I say and get up from my seat in a beat. I just need my time alone.

"Why are you walking barefoot in the apartment, you will catch cold and I know Liam won't appreciate it." She says pointing my uncovered feet.

Earlier I tried to look for my shoes or any foot wear but I wasn't able to find any so I have to go barefoot. If I were not giving Liam silent treatment earlier I would have asked him. The other day, I just took out my shoes from my luggage bag but now all of my stuff is unpacked and scattered throughout the apartment, I don't know where to find anything.

"Can you help me find my shoes I think they are not in closet."

"They are in Alpha Liam's closet. It's on the second floor above your closet room. The stair case in your closet ascend to Alpha's closet. There was not enough space in your closet for all of your shoes so Alpha asked me to place them in his. Come on Luna Eva, I will show you there is second stairway around it as well." She leads me to the stairs lying back of the Kitchen by the pantry. I haven't clearly taken a grand tour of Liam's pack house apartment but it's humongous from what I know.

She informs me that there were two master bedrooms in the apartment along with four extra bedrooms with attached bathrooms and one kitchen. One master bedroom is on the first floor of the apartment and second master bedroom is on the second floor exactly above the first one. She gives me a tour of every room of double floor apartment.

One of the best bedrooms are with balcony on the second floor. It has a great view, one faces to pack training grounds other facing forest area. Each and every bedroom is beautifully decorated with different theme. She at last takes me to the master bedroom which is beautiful completely different from Liam's master bedroom downstairs. It has a beautiful fireplace along with large clear windows.

Walking inside the closet I see all the racks are filled with different type of handbag accessories and shoes on the one side with Liam's clothing stocked on the opposite side.

Mrs. Rally indicates me to the shoes and say, "Here are your shoes. It took me full afternoon to organise all of your stuff Alpha Liam ordered for you. I hope you like it Luna." She bows her head in respect. I can only imagine how she managed to organise all this stuff.

I look around the Liam's Closet which has various tuxes and coats, all neatly organised. His regular wear stuff like t-shirts and shorts are in first floor closet, but this floor contains more formal wear. I feel it's smaller as compared to closet down stairs. There is a dresser on by the wall on the other side. Liam must have used the main stair case while I was getting ready in the closet earlier.

Spiral stairs leading up are in the corner of the room. I know these clothes cost a fortune as all the clothes Liam bought for me are of high quality and brand.
