Rari called me after court. They gave him 5 years in a maximum security prison out of state. Due to not having enough evidence they didn't convict him of murder. The guns they said he had the police didn't find either one of them. He told me to be strong and when he see me face to face he was going to tell me what was up. He told me where the money was so I can pay bills and get by. I told him I wasn't going to cry, but deep down inside I knew I was. He told me that he loved me and we said our good byes. I didn't keep my word because I been boo-hooing all day long. I called Rari father and told him what had happened and he was so upset,but what can he do or say Rari is a grown ass man. I just wanted him to know though. Rari said I won't believe the shit he was going to tell me, but all he kept saying was "you was right T" I asked him right about what, but he wouldn't say. I guess, because he didn't want to say much over the phone.

I sat on the bed and signed up for my GED classes. When Rari come home I at least want him to see that I can live without him.

I want to go to school to be a nurse.

Than by the time he come home I'll have my career so he can leave this lifestyle in the past.

We need a fresh start.
