《I Fell For The Muslim Girl》Chapter 72 : Our kids?!

I was on my way to Camila's house when I heard my phone buzzing in my pocket. I dug it out and saw my mom's name appeared on the screen.
"I'm sorry, mom. Ain't gonna happen." I said to myself and hit the ignore button. I put my phone on vibrate and tossed it to the backseat.
I've been ignoring her calls since the day I got out of the house. She has been texting and calling me like crazy but I didn't return any of her calls. SHE HAS GONE TOO FAR ON CAMILA AND I'LL NEVER FORGIVE HER FOR WHAT SHE DID TO HER?!
A few minutes later, I arrived at her house and pulled into the driveway. I saw Camila was standing at the front door probably waiting for me. She was wearing a white t-shirt and a baby pink cardigan to cover up her curves with a pair of white jeans. A pink hijab was wrapped neatly around her head. Is there anything more beautiful than this? I thought to myself.
When she noticed my car in the driveway, she quickly walked over towards me. She opened the door and smiled at me while climbing into the passenger's seat.
"Are you all set?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Yup." she nodded.
"Okay." I pulled out of the driveway and began heading towards the city as I promised her to buy her a new phone last night.
***************
"Do you like that one?" I asked her, pointing towards the iPhone in her hand.
"Isn't it too much?" she waved the phone from side to side.
"What are you talking about? It's just an iPhone, babe." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Never mind." she shook her head, turning down the subject.
"I love it by the way." her soft lips stretched into a smile.

"Sure."
"How about we get something to eat?" I suggested, glancing over at her.
"That sounds great." she agreed then we moved on towards a food court.
As we continued our walk, talking and making jokes, it was easy to pretend that everything was okay and that gave me hope. Hanging out with her and being able to make her happy did kick all of those thoughts about my mom out of my mind for a little while.
That was until I noticed that sudden change of her mood. She was upset and couldn't stop complaining about a woman who just slapped her little boy on his butt for running away from her. Gee. She does love kids and absolutely adores them very much. A gasped suddenly escaped my lips at the thought of children.
"Let's sit here." I led her to a table in the food court and she took her seat approach from me. We ordered cheese burgers with fries and diet cokes.
"I couldn't believe that she would do that to her own child. It's unacceptable you know?" she complained while crossing her arms.
"Uh, calm down will ya?" I tried to soothe her but like how I imagined, it didn't actually work.
"You know what? I would never do that to my own kid. It's the wrong thing to do." she shook her head in disbelief.
"Don't you mean..." I trailed off and she looked at me.
"OUR KIDS?" I lightened up my tone with a smirk on my face.
"What do you mean kids?" she tilted her head playfully to the side.
"What? You can't expect me to believe that you only want one child." I lifted my chin up and leaned back against the seat.

"I didn't say that." she denied.
"See?" I half smiled.
"How many children do you wish to have?" I teased her while crossing my arms. I know by the look on her face that she wanted to smack me so badly. I couldn't help it. I just love teasing and making her mad.
"I don't know. I haven't think about it yet." she faked a smile then rolled her eyes.
"You'll be surprise." I smirked and she gave me her deadliest stare.
"Pervert!?" she whispered to herself, wishing I didn't catch that but I did.
"Excuse me, here are your orders." the waitress interrupted and placed our orders on the table.
"Thank you." Camila thanked her politely and she left.
"So..." I raised my voice a little bit and she tilted her head to look at me with a chip in her hand.
"Do you prefer a boy or a girl as the first?" I asked. I just couldn't drop the subject yet.
"Are you for real?" she sighed, putting one hand on her forehead.
"What? It's an easy one." I kept pressing her.
"Fine." she finally gave in.
"Hmmm..." she hummed while scanning her surroundings, probably looking for an answer.
"I would definitely prefer a boy as the first." she said, playing with her chip.
"Why is that?" I frowned.
"Maybe because a boy should be the one who is supposed to protect his younger siblings." she shrugged, wasn't sure with her answer either.
"True." I chuckled.
"What about you?" she surprisingly turned the question back to me.
"Well, I don't really care if it's a boy or a girl." I blurted and she narrowed her eyes at me.
"As long as your the mother." I winked my eye at her and she looked the other, hiding her smile from me.
"Can I ask you something?" she leaned forward against the table.
"Hit me." I said.
"You, urm..." she hesitated all of a sudden. What's up with that?
"Camila." I encouraged her and she let out a harsh breath before continuing.
"Am I the only girl that you'll ever love?" she plunged her eyebrows together.
"Hrmmm..."
"Nope." I shook my head and her big eyes grew wider.
"I'm gonna be in love with another girl soon." I said proudly and the colour instantly drained out from her face which made her dropped her gaze. Jesus! She looked like she was about to cry. That's great, Justin!? LOOK WHAT YOU DID! It was a joke. I haven't finished my sentence yet.
"Hey?" I reached over the table and lifted her chin up so that her eyes met mine.
"Why can't you just let me finish?" I gave her a warm smile.
"And she's gonna be calling you mom." I tried my best to reassure her and her lips began to form a smile.
"Really?" the excitement filled her voice.
"Really really." I confessed while caressing the bottom of her chin and she grinned.
"I HATE YOU!" she scowled, throwing a chip at me because of my bad joke.
"I'm sorry, okay?" I apologised.
"Sure." she crinkled her nose and continued enjoying her food.
