《I Fell For The Muslim Girl》Chapter 65 : In his arms

I heard a woman's voice calling him from the other line but I couldn't actually hear what she was saying. Is she the one who asked them to kidnap me? Why?
"I've already asked my men to tie her up. She's not going anywhere." he informed the woman through the phone.
"Of course, ma'am."
"What do you want me to do now?" he asked.
"Consider it done." he said then suddenly pulled out his gun and pointed it towards me. He looked at me coldly with his fiercy eyes.
Astaghfirullah! Is this really it? Am I going to die here? In this way? I never stopped praying to Allah since the very beginning that something miracle will happen soon.
I was still screaming although my mouth was sticked with a strong hold sellotape and wouldn't stop struggling to release myself when he pointed the gun towards me. I DON'T WANNA DIE HERE!?
The moment he put his finger on the trigger, I heard a loud screaming from the phone as he didn't end the line. I was pretty sure that it was a male voice. The phone was still in his hand while he was pointing his gun with his other hand. What's happening?
He put the phone back up to his ear and started lowering his gun. Alhamdulillah! It would probably buy me some time to escape. IF I COULD ESCAPE FROM HERE.
Afterwards, I heard the male voice once again on the phone but this time, he was talking to the man who was standing in front of me but he didn't dare to respond. He just kept his silence. Why? What's actually going on here?
There were screaming and shouting from the other line. It got even louder and louder but the man didn't put the phone down. I guess he was listening to the strong argument but I couldn't care less about it as I was still trying to escape but there was no hope left for me. My hands began to hurt and my whole body was getting weaker.

After a few minutes of struggling and fighting to escape, I finally gave up as my body wasn't strong anymore to bear the pain that I felt at that time.
The man was still standing in front of me and he didn't leave his eyes on me.
"Yes, I'm still here." he suddenly said through the phone.
He then waited a few seconds before answering, "Okay, ma'am." He immediately ended the call after that and put his gun away.
"You're lucky that your boyfriend just saved your life this time." he said while approaching me.
What?! My boyfriend? Does that mean Justin? What did he mean? Did all the screaming and shouting that I heard from the phone came from an argument between Justin and his mother?!
"Argh!" I cried when he ripped the sellotape hardly from my mouth. He began to untie me from the chair and practically let me go.
I stood up from the chair while rubbing the sore from my wrists. He grabbed me by arm and dragged me towards the door.
"Go!?" he half yelled while pointing towards the door when he finally let go of my arm.
I hesitated at first whether or not to escape from the garage because I was thinking about him shooting at me from behind when I was running like I've seen in some movies.
I turned my head around towards him, looking at him with disgust before started running as fast as I could from the old garage and into the woods. I could the tears began rolling down my cheeks as I ran aimlessly in the dark and cold woods. I don't know where I am. I don't even have my phone with me. Where am I gonna go?
The woods were dark and damp, the sky was black as ink and the trees swayed in the breeze. Everything was pitched black out here. I was lost in the woods and I had no idea where to go. I couldn't see anything but I tried to keep my head clear because my only objective was to get out of this woods as soon as possible.

I was wondering around the woods, trying to find the way out. It felt like I've been walking forever, my legs felt like jelly and I had no energy left. I was completely exhausted and puffed out!
A while later, I suddenly saw this path of lights and decided to follow it. Before I knew it, I found myself standing in the middle of the streets. ALONE!?
The tall metal streetlamps cast artificial glow onto the streets below, each one radiated a warm orange glow, flickering in its attempt to light up the whole streets.
It could have been past midnight because I haven't seen even a set of headlights on the streets. I shivered as it was so cold. My nose went red and felt froze. I was standing alone on the streets in the middle of nowhere.
I began to walk slowly along the streets under the glowing streetlamps. I covered myself with my hands to keep me warm. God! I wished that I was wearing my sweatshirt right now. That would definitely keep me warm.
When I was walking, I saw headlights approaching towards me. The car was moving fast. I got to the middle of the road and started waving my arms to stop the car.
"God Almighty!" I whispered to myself.
The car was getting closer and closer until it finally stopped right in front of me. A tall man figure climbed out of the car and walked up to me slowly. I couldn't see his face but the perfect build did remind me of someone that I know.
"Camila?" he whispered. The voice that I've missed so much was echoing in my head. Is this a dream?!
"Jus...Justin?" my voice was getting cracky as he approached me.
"THANK GOD!?" he exclaimed.
A few seconds later, he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and pulled me into his chest. I rested my head on his muscular chest as he gently rubbed the small of my back and I tightened my grips around his waist.
I was intended to push him back as we couldn't have any intense physical contact but my body wasn't working with my mind anymore at that moment. I wanted and needed him so badly.
I heard his heart beating in his chest. IT'S BEATING JUST FOR ME!
His embrace was warm and his big, strong arms seemed very protective when he wrapped them around my frail body. The world around me melted away as I squeezed him back, not wanting the moment to end.
We were enjoying the precious and golden moment for a few minutes before he pulled away.
"Are you okay?" he asked while cupping my face with both of his hands.
"I'm okay." I whispered as the tears began streaming down my face.
"I'm scared actually." I blurted. He then pulled my head closer towards his and rested his forehead against mine.
"I'm here, love." he breathed out, soothing me from the bottom of my heart. He sent chill down my spine and the butterflies were fluttering inside my stomach. I WASN'T SCARED ANYMORE.

I also strangely prefer using the Imperial System to measure Height, while I use the Metric System for almost everything else (Canadian by the way).
