《Unforgettable (Peter Parker x Reader)》What are they doing with Chitauri tech?

The walk to school from where Happy drops me off was boring. It didn't help that I was about to fall asleep after staying up late walking around New York to get the 'nightmare' out of my head.
When I was walking along the street I herd someone arguing from one of the alleyways. It started to get heated before they started to calm down. With me being curious I started to walk in the direction where I herd the voices came from.
I hid behind one of the dumpsters so I wouldn't be seen by the men that where arguing. I pulled out my phone and saw that I had 20 minuets before the bell rung for school.
I quietly put my phone back into my pocket and peaked around the side of the dumpster to see if I could get a look at the people who where talking.
I saw the typical white van that you see in movies that normally are associated with criminals.
"This equipment that we're offering you will make it easier for you to get the job done ." One of the guys said. I raised my eyebrow. I couldn't see the guy who said that but I could see the guy who he was talking to though.
He was handed something that had a purplish glow to some of the parts that where exposed. It was familiar some how but I couldn't remember where I had seen it though.
"What is it made of?" The man I could see asked as he looked over the weapon.
"It's made from those that tech from the creatures that where involved in the battle of New York in 2012. Chitauri tech if I remember correctly." Another voice said. My eyes widened.
'What are they doing with Chitauri technology?' I though. I defiantly need to do something which meant I'm going to be late for school. With a sigh I pulled out my phone and was about to text Ned but then remembered that he gave me Peter's number.
(Y/n): Hey Peter its (Y/n). Ned gave me you number a little while ago. Anyway can you tell our teacher that I'm gonna be running a little late
I sent the text and waited back for a reply. I stayed out of site of the men that were talking but listened to their conversation. Soon my phone buzzed in my hand.
Peter: Why? I something wrong?
(Y/N): Something came up. Also since you apparently know Spider-Man can you some how contact him. I might need some help with said thing
"I think we'll take them." I herd the man who I could see say. I didn't wait for a reply as I put my phone back in my pocket. I need to do something quick.
As I was about to slowly make my way to where they where a familiar loud ring tone echoed though the alleyway.

"What was that?" I herd one of the men say.
"It sounds like someone is not minding their own business." After one of them said that, I herd something start to be powered up and footsteps coming in my direction. I finally turned my phone off and put it in my pocket after seeing that it was Peter calling me.
I looked around me to see if I could find anything that I could use as a weapon but looks like I have to go hand to hand. Just the other people are going to have weapons.
Great.
I took my bag off my back and got ready to throw it at who ever came around the corner. "Who ever is there. Come out." One of the guys said.
I gripped the strap of my bag tighter. When I saw the barrel of the 'gun' I quickly got up and threw my bag at the guy, knocking him off balance.
I then kicked him in the stomach causing him to fall back into the guy behind him. A purple beam shot out of the 'gun', into the sky as well as hitting one of the buildings causing some of the bricks to fall down in chunks.
"You guys really shouldn't be selling alien tech." I said looking away from the two men that where on the ground, groaning.
"And you should mind you own business little girl."
I looked away from the two guys on the ground and saw someone standing by the van with a metal contraption on his arm.
I got into a fighting stance, trying not to show fear to the guy that I was about to go up against. He smirked at me and I gritted my teeth.
"Oh this is to easy." He said and ran at me. I dodged the punches from the metal thing on his arm. As it went past where my head was, it buzzed with electricity. I came out from my shock and quickly reacted by grabbing on to his arm and then pulled myself up, putting my legs around his neck then using my weight to flip him over.
I got up off the ground and stepped away from the men when I realised that one of them was missing.
Something went passed my head which was then followed by and 'oof.'
I turned around to see that one of the guys that I had knocked over earlier, was tapped against the brick wall by a web. Something landed quietly next to me.
"I though you needed a little help."
I turned around and saw Spider-Man standing there. I gave him a small smile. "Took you long enough."
"Well uh, Peter said you didn't exactly say where you where." He said scratching the back of his head.
I was about to reply back when I saw one of the guy get up and aim the 'gun' towards us. My eyes widened. I looked down at my feet and saw one of the metal rubbish bin lids. I quickly picked it up and threw it at him, like I'v seen Steve throw his shield, hitting him in the head. The gun fell to the ground and powered down.

Spider-Man quickly turned around and saw the guy I just hit was now unconscious. "Woah." Was all he said.
I just shrugged like it was nothing.I was about to say something when I saw the eyes on his mask widen. He turned around and shot one of his webs at the gun that was being powered up and yanked on the web, showing it at the wall where it shattered into bits of metal.
The man looked up at Spider-Man and was about the run at him when Spidey shot webs at his feet causing him to face plant. He then shot another web, sticking him to the concrete.
I was about the speak up and saw how awesome that was, when I herd a engine behind us start up and wheels squeal across the concrete. Both me and Spider-Man turned around to see that the Van was quickly backing out of the Alleyway that we where in.
"We have to stop them. They have tech they shouldn't be messing with." I said and started to run out of the alleyway with Spider-Man by my side.
"You know what those weapons are?" He asked as we started to trail the van that was weaving in and out of traffic. "Sort of." I said trying the get pass all the people that where walking along the footpath. "I over herd them taking about what they used."
Most of the people moved out of our way as we ran along, but most didn't. The crowd of people started to get thicker and I started to lose sight of the Van. "Can you get up higher? We can't lose him!" I said.
I saw Spider-Man look around at the buildings. "Their all to low. My webs are useless." He said. Soon we both made it though the crowd but the van was no where in sight. We both stood on the side of the street breathing heavily.
"We lost him." I said as I looked around.
"If they are using something they shouldn't, they will turn up again." Spider-Man said as he turned to me.
"I guess we'll have to keep an eye out for them." I said as I turned to him and gave him a smile. It then emptily dropped. "Those guys back in the ally. Their probably gone by now." I said with a groan.
"I should of webbed them down. Sorry." Spider-Man said as he lowered his head a bit.
"It's not your fault, you webbed down two. That should be...." I trailed off.
I saw Spider-Man's head shoot up. "That one on the wall and the ground." He said and we both started to run back to where we had our fight.
When we got there, all of the guys including the ones that where webbed down where gone, along with any weapons that where left behind apart from scraps of metal.
I walked over to where my bag was and picked it up, hearing a cracking sound. "Aw, I forgot my laptop was in my bad." I said and opened it to see a destroyed laptop.
"What did you do to it?" Spidey asked and I looked up at him.
"I sorta threw it at one of the guys after Peter called me, basically telling them that I was here." I said with a shrug.
Spider-Man tensed. "Uh he was probably trying to ask you where you where so he could tell me?" He said, but it sound more like a question.
"I guess." I said and pulled out my phone. My eyes widened. "I'm really late for school now." I said and put my phone back in my pocket and was about to say run off when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Wait!"
I turned around and looked at him. "I was uh wonder if we could, uh I don't know, hang out some time?" Spider-Man asked.
"Yeah that would be fun. I'll see you around?" I asked with a small smile on my face.
"Y-yeah. See you around." He stuttered out.
I started to walk away when I remembered something. "Hey, Spidey. Last time we met you knew my name. Was that because of Peter?" I called out.
He tensed again and hesitantly nodded his head. "Uh, yeah Peter told me. How would I know it with out him telling me?" He stuttered out and I slowly nodded my head.
"I just wanted to know. Well I'll see you around." I said and started to job the rest of the way to school.
I snuck onto the school ground and was about to make it to class when a someone called out my name.
"Miss (L/n), its you forth day at Midtown and you already late."
I turned around to see one of the teachers standing there. "I'm sorry sir. It won't happen again. Something came up at home and I couldn't miss it." I said.
"Do you have a note?" He asked.
"No sir." I mumbled with my head down.
"Well next time make sure you have a note. But for now, you have detention with Mr Parker who was also late." He said and walked away.
'What was Peter doing that made him get detention as well?'
