《Cousin Miguel》Part 30

Stiles lay in Derek's arms when his alarm went off in the morning. "That's so not fair", he groaned when he turned it off "why is the weekend so much shorter than the week?" Derek huffed a tired laugh. "I don't want to go", Stiles whispered and snuggled closer into Derek. "You have to", Derek said in his raspy morning voice. "Why?", Stiles whined. "To get cleverer and save our asses", Derek explained. "Point for you", Stiles laughed and pecked Derek's lips. "Could you...", Stiles mumbled shy all of a sudden. "What?", Derek asked. "Could you...um...maybe turn around when I get up?", Stiles averted his gaze so he didn't look into Derek's eyes. "You know I saw you naked? Tonight? We are literally naked right now under these covers", Derek raised his eyebrows in confusion. "I-I know but...", Stiles stuttered. "Are you self conscious about your body again?", Derek asked softly. "Maybe", Stiles whispered as an answer "Everyone is trained and looking much better than me". Derek took Stiles' chin between his fingers to turn his face to look at him. "They may be trained, but none of them, and I mean NO ONE looks better to me than you, Stiles. Don't you understand that I think you are beautiful? When I look at your face I wish I could kiss it the whole day. Every inch of it and every mole. And when I saw you naked last night...well...you know what it made me wanna do", Derek explained and Stiles smiled at him. "You really think so?", Stiles asked just to be sure. "Absolutely", Derek kissed him to show him that he meant what he said. "I need to shower before I go to school", Stiles explained looking at Derek. "Oh okay", Derek said a little sad that he had to let Stiles out of his arms. "Now that I know you like my body you could join me, you know", Stiles looked up at him. "I'd like that", Derek smirked at him. They both got out of bed and into the shower rather quickly, lucky that there was one attached to Stiles' bedroom.

Stiles just rinsed out the shampoo when he heard his father. "Hey, Stiles, are you up, son?", he yelled from the door. "Yeah, dad! Taking a shower", Stiles screamed back putting his finger on his lips to signal Derek to be quiet. He could hear his father's footsteps getting closer and hoped he wouldn't come into the bathroom. But of course he did because privacy was a foreign word to him. Stiles and Derek were just lucky there was a dark shower curtain in front of them so he couldn't see them. "Hey, I didn't wanna yell sooooo", the sheriff explained why he entered the bathroom. "Yeah, what is it, dad?", Stiles said nervous. Derek noticed how his heart beat picked up and tried to calm him down by kissing his neck. Stiles eyes got wide and he shot him a 'what the heck do you think you are doing' glare, but Derek didn't see it as he was busy covering him in hickeys silently. "Just wanted to see if you were up for school. Do you want breakfast? I have the morning off", the sheriff asked. "Suuuuure", Stiles tried to hide his moan "I'll be down in a few minutes". "I'll look if Derek is up. Maybe he wants to join us", the sheriff said already turning around to leave. "No!", Stiles yelled and Derek's head shot up "I-I mean. He doesn't really like it when you wake him or disturb him". Derek looked at Stiles wide eyed hoping the sheriff will believe him. "Maybe he is already awake and will come down to us, we'll see", the sheriff said looking into Stiles' room and seeing a shirt in the corner that definetly didn't belong to his son. He smirked to himself. Could the two get even more obvious around him. The sheriff was 99% sure that Derek was in that shower with his son and he didn't really care. He didn't care that Stiles was with a guy or that he was a few years older. He knew that Derek was a good man who would take care of his son. He just hoped that Stiles would talk to him about it. He doesn't want his son to be afraid of talking to him. "Yeah, who knows", Stiles answered and the sheriff could hear relief in his voice. He must think that he believed his absolutely obvious lie. He was a sheriff god damn it, what did his son think about him? "See you downstairs", the sheriff said shaking his head laughing to himself and closing the bathroom door behind him. Stiles let out a breath the second he heard the door fall shut. "What was that?!", he asked Derek gesturing to his neck. "I wanted to calm you down?", Derek sounded unsure now. "By kissing me when I try to hide you from my dad? Awesome plan", he sassed. "Maybe I just wanted to kiss you", Derek said leaning in when Stiles smiled at his words. The kiss broke after a few seconds. "I have to get going or he will come back", Stiles rolled his eyes and turned the water off. Both got dry and dressed within a few minutes. Stiles packed his bag and headed downstairs, telling Derek to join them in a few minutes. He covered the hickeys Derek left on his neck with his hoodie. The sheriff already thought he might have been wrong about Stiles and Derek when Derek came down the stairs with wet hair. "Good morning", he greeted. "Morning", the sheriff nodded at him. Derek silently got himself a coffee and sat down. "Looks like you showered at the same time", he said pointing to their wet hair just to tease them and look at their reactions. "I guess that's why my water went cold", Stiles lied smoothly and the sheriff couldn't help but wonder how often the kid had lied to him and he didn't notice. Derek just shrugged and the sheriff decided to drop the topic, waiting for Stiles to tell him someday.
