Danny's P.O.V
The moon glittered alongside the stars in a cloudless sky, the wind howling over the trees and carrying leaves and debris around the dark, empty streets of the town. It felt... amazing to finally be out and about, adorning the Ghost Face mask and brandishing a deadly blade. Danny kept to the shadows, footsteps light as feathers as he krept towards his destination. He had a target in mind, and after a whole 2 weeks without a kill he wanted to make a grand entrance. The news had leaped at the sudden stop in the Ghost Face murders, conspiring against Danny's sudden disappearance and wondering if this would be the end. It would not be the end, Danny would make sure of it. The tall building (only 5 stories, but tall for the town) known as 'Brightwood News' loomed like a beacon against the dark sky, the few illuminated windows casting a yellow glow on the streets below. The memory of your boss chewing you out for postponing your on-site work day made Danny's blood boil with rage. No one disrespects you and lives to tell the tale. He'd been waiting for this day and it was finally here. It was easy to slink up towards the building without being noticed, waving at the security camera as it patrolled back and forth, landing on him. Danny found a window on the second floor that was left ajar, only a thin layer of mesh blocking his way in. The way up to the window was easy; below it was another window, a sill above and below almost like an unintended ladder. With his outstanding agility, he jumped onto the first sill below the first floor window, climbing to the second, and then to the one below the open window.
Pulling the blade from the sheath on his leg, he stabbed it into the mesh, slicing down in one swift motion and opening a clear way inside. The room the window led into was a small office, dark and empty, but Danny could see light coming through the crack under the door. Silent as the wind, Danny slipped through the thin hole in the mesh, resheathing his blade for now. Exhilaration and adrenaline coursed through his veins as he tip-toed towards the door exiting the office and entering what he guessed would be a large room filled with work cubicles. Upon twisting the handle and silently slipping open the door, Danny could see he was correct about the room. There were a few night owls still powering through work at their desks, a clear path going from this office to one you could only assume belonged to your boss, if the grand double doors told him anything. Danny slid from the room, glad that the tall, grey cubicles blocked him for long enough to barrel roll across the open space and press up against an unoccupied desk. Peeking slowly around the corner of the desk, he planned a discrete route; he could crawl underneath empty desks all up until the desk nearest your bosses office. That would be the difficult place- ah, convenient. Danny smiles as the person at the problem-desk stands up, nose in a binder as they head towards the kitchenette on the other side of the office space, most likely for coffee.
It's easy to set into motion, rolling and crawling from desk to desk, the ten or so people in the room not even knowing he was there. The door to the bosses office was left ajar; he was facing the offices, so Danny had to move quickly and plunge a knife into his throat before he could notice him and cry for help. Silent steps carry Danny to press against the outside wall of the office, in plain sight- no one noticed him, not a soul. He almost chuckles to himself, rolling his eyes behind his mask at their obliviousness. It must be something with reporters, since you're just like them. With a deep, calculating breath, Danny slides into the office, blade pulled from the sheath on his wrist, and it's in your bosses throat before he even knew what was coming. The life drained from his eyes almost instantly, letting out a choked gurgle as the last of his air escaped his lungs. Pulling the knife from his neck, Danny hummed in appreciation, the scarlet oozing from his neck onto the papers littering the desktop. Now, Danny's favourite part. He slipped his knife away after cleaning the blood from it with his glove, pulling your fancy camera from his cloak and clicking it into the 'on' setting. He set it to record, pointing it at himself and tilting his head as the red light blinked to life. With a quick wave, Danny pulled the camera away, tilting it so it had your boss in the frame, dead on his desk.

Then, Danny turned the camera towards the door, peeking the lens through the crack of it to scan around the clueless workers. With a low, mechanical chuckle, he pulled the camera away and clicked it off. Heading over to the bosses desk, Danny searched for what he needed and found it fairly easily. A chord was plugged into the camera, and he updated the video file from the camera to the computer, inserting it into an email and sending it to a group of people under the name of 'office'. Upon hitting the 'send', Danny turned to the window in the room, sliding it open. He could hear a gasp from one of the people outside, and a confused 'what??' from another. He kicked out the screen of the window this time rather than cutting it, slipping out onto the window sill and climbing down the same way he'd climbed up through the other window from earlier. He lingered for a minute or two, the footsteps of an approaching worker acting as music to his ears. The scream they let out at the sight of their boss's mutilated corpse was even better.
"Call the police!!" the man called, and Danny couldn't help but smile as he slipped from the sill to hurry back home, to you. He had missed his hunting.
Your P.O.V
"You what?!" you gasp, hands tangling in your hair at the sight of Danny covered in blood. He shrugs, pulling off his mask and tossing it to the floor. "You killed my boss?!" you say, and now that it's out in the open and said out loud you realize... maybe it's not the worst thing. You can't help but smile nervously, shaking your head. "Good god, Danny, what if someone thinks it was me or something?"
"Not happening, Sweetheart, I made sure they knew it was good 'ol Jed." Danny reached into his cloak and pulled out your camera, making you let out a breath of relief.
"Serves that bastard right." Freddy huffs in amusement from the kitchen island, a smirk on his face.
"He was rude." Michael mumbled in agreement, beside Freddy. Jason, standing in the doorway, nodded his head in agreement.
"But did he deserve to die?" you sign out, learning an immediate 'yes' from everyone in the room, including Thomas and a nod from Bubba, both at the kitchen island as well. You chuckle, leaning on the counter.
"Well..." you sigh, clasping your hands, "Thanks, I guess?" you laugh, suddenly hearing a click from the living room, the shutting of the mirror door. Brahms revealed himself seconds later.
"You got him, Danny? You got the man who hurt (Y/N)?" he asked in his child's voice, cracked-and-fixed mask in place. Danny nodded, smiling as he undid the clasps on his cloak, slipping it off and tossing it to the floor with his mask, leaving him in a white t-shirt and black sweatpants.
"You bet I did, Brahmsy!" he smiled, glancing at the occupied island chairs and frowning upon seeing none of them empty. At Danny's words, Brahms jumped excitedly, turning to you.
"He did good, right (Y/N)?" he asked, and you nod, smiling.
"I see Danny's back?" Lecter steps into the room, Norman close behind, both smiling lightly at the noise Danny always brings with him. It was 3 in the morning and everyone was wide awake now that he was home.

"Back and uninjured." Thomas chuckled from his seat. He and Bubba had decided to stay after they'd recovered a few days later. Danny had been jealous that Bubba's leg had healed so much faster than his, but Bubba did get proper stitches and treatment, and he didn't reopen the wound over and over again.
"Hey, I'm indestructible now!" Danny claimed, flexing his biceps and showing off his arms, skinny compared to Michael, Jason or Thomas himself.
"Well, should I make something to eat or something like that?" you ask, not tired at all but also not knowing what else to do.
"Or..." Michael leaned towards you, cocking an eyebrow. This was one of the few ways his expression changed; it was his suggestive, mischievous expression, meaning only one thing.
"No, Michael, I'm not ordering pizza, especially now that I won't be going into work and getting money for a week! I can't afford to feed 10 people!" you cross you arms firmly, Danny letting out a dejected whine.
"Pleeeease, Sweetheart!" he begs, Michael flashing his best puppy dog eyes, which aren't very good. Jason takes a few steps forward, tilting his head in a begging manner.
"We've been good, haven't we?" Brahms asks, Bubba nodding his head. Thomas didn't do a thing, but you could tell he wanted pizza as well.
"Ain't too bad an idea, kitten~" Freddy purred.
"I can pay for half." Lecter offers, turning to grab his wallet from upstairs.
"No, no it's fine," you huff, giving in, "I'll buy pizza, but that's the only food I'm ordering all week, okay?" you point an accusatory finger at Danny, then Michael, then Brahms, the three beggars.
"Yes!" Danny pumps a fist into the air, Michael wearing a satisfied smirk, Brahms nodding his head, giddy. You order six pizzas, all different kinds, waiting in the living room with everyone as it is made and delivered.
"Who wants to watch a movie before we go to bed?" you ask, standing from your spot on the couch to go look at the titles on the spines of the films. The pizza will be here any minute.
"I do!" Danny calls, "Let's watch Stab!" enthusiasm drips from his voice, but Michael scoffs.
"No, something scary." he grunts out, crossing his arms, "Like Saw or The Blair Witch Project." as the boys settle randomly around the room bicker between Goosebumps or Jeepers Creepers and more, you scan the titles yourself, looking for one that would satisfy everyone. You could always watch more than just one movie... You pull Don't Breathe from the shelf, seeing as it isn't too scary but there was still enough gore and intensity for Michael to be interested. There was also a dog, and Brahms would be all over that. You also grabbed Cabin in the Woods, thinking Jason might like that one.
"I'll pick something, then. You guys will like these." you slip the first disc into the player, and the doorbell rings. "Stay hidden." you say, giving everyone a moment to move away from the door's line of sight. You open the door, smiling at the boy on the other side carrying all six of your pizzas- no, you'd ordered six, right? There were 10 here! You force a tight smile, pulling out your wallet to pay.
"Oh, nice, the 10 pizzas!" Danny sauntered over with a smug smile on his face, obviously the one behind the order change. Once you paid and shut the door, setting the pizzas on the coffee table, you turned and whacked him over the head like Michael usually did.
"Danny you asshole!" you shout, but you can't stop from smiling. "The disrespect!" you gasp, plopping down onto the couch and setting out the pizza boxes as best as possible.
"Just start the movie!" Danny chuckles, snatching the remote from your hand as you sloooowly move to hit play, just to spite him. The movie begins to roll, Norman hitting the lights before settling himself on the floor beside the couch. Hannibal pulls in a chair from the kitchen, Michael on one side of you on the sofa and Jason on the other, Danny at your feet. Brahms was on the recliner, Thomas and Bubba on the floor in a pile of pillows and blankets. You all gorged yourselves on your individual pizzas, cringing every time you remembered the sizable dent in your bank account, hardly paying attention to the movie you'd seen time and time again. Most of your attention was on the boys around you, thinking about how much they'd transformed your would-be normal life. You were grateful, and you always would be, that they had come and found themselves with you. You didn't know what would happen, how long they'd stay with you, whether you lived your whole life like this, but you didn't mind the mystery clouding your future. You had them to help you through it, and that was enough.

Some mortals see dungeons as a plague to destroy. Some mortals see dungeons as a resource to manage and harvest. Some mortals see dungeons as a place to train and advance. However, all of them agree on something. Dungeons are unnatural and deadly. Places where death stalks every corner and monsters thrive.
