《Unexpected Roommates | Slashers x Reader》My Headcannons, and how I see the Characters

Up top is a drawing I did of the babies :3 it's not too horrible I don't think, but I realized it might be necessary, especially for Danny since not as many people have played Dead By Daylight.
I know how important it is to like the writers version of your favourite characters, so here's a little sneak peak into their personalities, quirks, etc. so you can know if you'll enjoy this book just a little bit better. This will also help you to identify foreshadowing for the next character to arrive, and it might just help you to like the characters more!
: He's a cold-hearted killer with a thirst for fame and recognition. He wants everyone to know who he is, and he wants everyone to fear him. He's addicted to the looks of fear his victims wear when he calls them, and has pictures pasted all over the walls of his old, run-down shack. He's upbeat, playful and mischievous, but he can have a kind heart if he really cares about you. He's about 98% quiet, only loud when he wants to be, and the old 'creaky floorboard upstairs' is one of his favourite ways to scare someone he's hunting. He laughs in the faces of anyone who tries to fight back, knowing full-well they have 0 chance at actually doing so, at least in most cases. Once he's actually chasing someone he gets a little overexcited and clumsy, tripping way too much for his own good; he's lucky he's fast, or else he'd lose most of his victims. In one word, once you get to know him he's a straight up vibe, pulling pranks and hanging out with you as if he hadn't buried a knife in someone's back an hour earlier. Even if you're friends, he'll still call you with his voice changer and try to scare the living shit out of you, but you see through him after a while. A playful flirt, he loves using nicknames like 'Sweetheart', 'Honey' or 'Doll' and laughing if your face goes red. A little too touchy for his own good with no care for other's personal space- he won't hesitate to sling an arm around your shoulder when you're chilling around, or get up in your face if you're bothering him.
: He spends his free time stalking, planning, getting to know his surroundings and memorizing places where he'd have the disadvantage. He's dead silent despite his size, but not as quick on his feet as people like Ghostface. In a show of strength he'd kick your ass in mere seconds. He's strong, to say the least. He seems to have no other reason for killing other than to satisfy the Shape within him, which usually comes out naturally after a few days without a kill or when someone is particularly disrespectful towards him or places, people and things he holds dear to his heart like the forest he would play in as a child; the one place where he made real, happy memories before killing Judith and the rest of his family. Doesn't speak, but that's a choice. He will speak in very, very rare situations, but don't count on ever hearing his voice in the span of your lifetime. He prefers to write or even sign with the little ASL knowledge he has. Similar to his rare talking, you probably won't ever see his face unless you rip his mask off yourself, but to that you'd better had a pretty brutal death wish. Even after you become better friends with the giant he'll still be cold and quiet, barely responsive other than the slightest nod or shake of his head, maybe the tightening of his fists if you're extra lucky. It takes a lot of practice and time to learn how to read Michael. He gets overstimulated very easily, and when he's overstimulated he gets a little stabby. He's surprisingly good at crafts like pottery or paper-mache.

: Has a deep respect for the beauty of the forest, and will slice you into bits if you disrespect it. It's been his home for his entire life and he'll fight for it's safety. A little scary looking because he's such a tank, but he's got a kind heart if you show him and what he loves enough care. He's honestly a little shy and jumpy, especially around large bodies of water or things that trigger bad memories. He's a fiend for setting traps and exercising his brain by 'securing' your house with rope traps, nets and sometimes even the occasional bear trap- watch your step! He's a gentle giant, to say the least, and loves gardening and anything similar. Won't speak, doesn't even know if he can. He can make sounds like grunts or coughs but doesn't know how to make himself speak. He knows everything about survival from dressing wounds to tying knots to CPR. He's afraid of his own strength, always scared to hurt the few he cares for. If he truly cares for you he'll be at your side as much as possible, he feels a moral obligation to keep you safe. He hears the voice of his mother inside his head, and she tells him who to trust and who not to trust, even if she's wrong from time to time. If it weren't for her voice you'd have been butchered in seconds, so you even speak to her from time to time as if she's actually there- Jason appreciates that.

: Thomas' twin brother. He's soft. An absolute babey who cares wayyy too much for his own good. He doesn't want to hurt people, but it's all he's ever known and his family makes him do it! He's got no other choice as far as he's concerned. His different masks seem to bring out different aspects of his personality; his pretty lady mask makes him feel like a cute little housewife, and won't cook or clean without it on his face and paired with one of his dresses. He's more scared of you then you are of him, despite what you may think. You could be dangerous, and he didn't want to get hurt, so he has to defend himself or else he might not be able to defend himself and those he cares for in the future. He loves to cook, and enjoys making flower crowns and obviously new masks. He's a sweet guy and loves to hug people, but despite his gentle caring side he can be vicious and defensive. A god with a chainsaw and can slash and swing without any hesitation between movements. He's a chubby guy but also has a lot of muscle. He likes to play mother-hen, taking care of those smaller and supposedly weaker than him, making sure they're safe and unhurt. A little slow, and doesn't know how to speak properly. The few words he can say are things like 'Uh-huh!' or 'uh-uh.', but he knows just enough to get by without too much trouble.
: Bubba's twin brother. He's 'threatening' at it's finest. Tall as fuck with a brooding personality and a dark, dangerous aura in general. He radiates big 'I will bite you don't come at me' energy, and he actually will bite you, don't test him. He's territorial and freakishly skittish, so he won't trust you easily and won't want you around his shorter, weaker brother Bubba until he's sure you're safe. He doesn't cope well with people threatening his power, so Michael trying to be the alpha male is a huge no no. He can talk, and he does, but he usually doesn't think people are worth his words so he only ever speaks when he's snapping 'back off!' or 'get out of my way!' and things similar. He'll cook alongside Bubba but he isn't even close to having as much skill as he does; same goes for mask making. Bubba makes the majority of his masks, or he'll just cover his mouth and nose with things like real leather masks or animal skin masks. Also a god with a chainsaw, that seems to run in the family. He's got a little more strength than his bro, and he's quicker, too. Don't mess with him. He's like a wolf, and will defend those he cares about with his life, no hesitation. He's got some family problems and is emotionally attached to his brother, overly protective and oversensitive. Any comment that's even possibly rude towards Bubba gets a chainsaw to the face- or neck, or leg or torso. Whatever's closest.

: The definition of shy. He won't let you see him unless you bribe him, at least at first, and even then he's out and then back in hiding in a matter of minutes. He's strong and tall and oh-so threatening but he doesn't want to risk getting hurt and he's terrified of people. He can be quiet if he tries hard enough but his lanky body can be difficult to control. He can't live without the porcelain mask he wears daily, as if it's an unbreakable shield. Any disrespect towards his doll form can set him off into a rage, and he can be dangerous then, so be careful. He usually speaks in his child's voice, not liking the sound or low town of his actual voice. It makes him seem too scary, he thinks, despite the sound of a child's voice coming from a grown man being much more terrifying. A man with plenty of patience, waiting for the perfect moment to do almost anything. He's very calm and calculated most days, but again, any disrespect to his porcelain counterpart can make him crazy with a blood lust you can't contain too easily. He enjoys things like knitting and crafts, music, and likes being read books of poetry or old stories. He doesn't know how to function on his own, doesn't know how to cook or clean. All he knows is 'sneak', 'steal' and 'defend'.
: A fear addict- he basically breathes the stuff. If you're screaming or running for your life, he's fueled to hunt you down with a new determination. He thinks he's a funny guy, but he's really not that funny to anyone but himself. Doesn't know what lines not to cross whether that be with his jokes or just normal conversations, and he's way too nosy. He lives outside the Nightmare World as well as in it, deciding when he wants to leave and when he wants to hide inside it. He's creepy, obviously, maybe even creepier than the others simply because he's so confident and unafraid of being seen. Jason, Michael and Brahms don't want any attention, but Krueger is closer to Ghostface than anyone else in that he wants recognition, he wants people to be terrified of him. If he isn't doing his job to scare and kill then what's the point? He never outright kills his victims, he needs to scare them a shitload first, otherwise, again, it just isn't worth it. He's oddly crafty and is pretty good handling sharp tools like scissors or an exacto-knife, though if he needs to cut something he's got his glove for that. Another similarity to Ghostface is his flirty nature, yet Freddy is a lot more creepy about it. He's the king of dirty jokes, and will laugh enough for the both of you if you don't find his jokes funny. A little shit is the best way to describe him, if I'm being honest. He doesn't give a crap about anyone but himself, at least not at first. Maybe, just maybe he'll care enough about you at one point to want to protect you.
: He's just a shy little boy with a crippling need for motherly love. He immediately clings to you like you're a big sister (which is going to be the closest name for your relationship with him. He's a little too young to have a romantic relationship, I think) and, ironically, to Michael since he's the 'mother hen' of the group. He's the definition of kind, has excellent table manners, and is always there to help with chores or anything of the sort. He's fiercely loyal, like, to the point he'll get violent if someone he loves and cares for is so much as being badmouthed. He's not very strong but when Norma takes over and he blacks out and goes feral, you'd better run, because he's quiet and fast and usually has a big knife somewhere nearby. Just like in the show he's into taxidermy. He misses his motel day and night but is way too scared to go back there other than maybe to grab some things he left behind. The last thing he wants is to disappoint his mother and get caught by the police. He's scared of almost everything (other than you and the other killers, after a while) and is pretty bad at social interaction, but hey, we all are. He's overall probably the most normal out of all these guys, and he's a smol babey.
: Obviously the smartest out of all of them, hands down. He's observant as all hell, impossible to trick. He picks up the slightest hints like an off-timed blink or the twitch of a finger, and he can read them like an open-paged book. He can form plans in seconds, but prefers to go over them and perfect them over and over and over until there isn't even possibility for failure. He's quick with his tongue, a liar who puts even Danny to shame when he finds the need for it, though he prefers using the truth to bend people to do his will. Manipulative. So, so manipulative. He'll act so endlessly kind and caring when really he's slowly leading you to certain death or revealing some dark secret. He's almost always calm, even when he's actively killing or eating people, good or bad. He's so calm he almost seems entirely emotionless when he's not forcing them to manipulate you. Despite the psychopath manipulation parts, he is actually a pretty nice, understanding dude, one of the only murderers other than maybe Bubba, Jason or Norman capable of deliberate mercy. He's very polite and proper, while also being strict, and a good rule-follower. He's respectful, to say the least, and will do whatever you tell him to, getting others to follow the rules too. A clean freak, he'd clean day and night if he could, actually enjoy the task. He also likes to draw; most of the murderers are artistic, but he's insanely precise with a photographic memory that can memorize every detail of something after only seconds of seeing it.

8 162Another World's Homunculus
Ellis Murrin died an unexpected death, but before he could experience the sweet bliss of eternal rest, a God-like being whisked him away. The God told a tale of another world in grave jeopardy and the need for a hero (or several heroes) to go there and save the people. It was looking to be a typical story of transmigration when suddenly, something unexpected happened. Now, he finds himself standing in the middle of an ancient tomb, with a lineage that wasn’t exactly normal and a body that wasn’t entirely human. 8 107After the End: Serenity
We all want to believe we are heroes of our own story - unless we want to be the villain, of course. At the end of everything, the Final Reaper decided he hadn’t been a hero. Driven by a desire to right the wrongs he was subjected to, he killed everyone who wronged him or his people - which turned out to be everyone that wasn’t killed by someone else first. He'd won - but it was a hollow victory. Eventually, Order’s Voice found a way out. If the only existing being would agree to give up most of his power, the Voice could reset the multiverse to an earlier time with a few minor changes. Of course, the Voice couldn't ask it that way. It could only ask if the Final Reaper was willing to start over from when Earth was first brought into Order. It was an easy decision, and yet it wasn’t. Was he willing to go through eons of pain again to not be alone? Yes. In a heartbeat. Not that his heart beat anymore. Now it would. Perhaps he could even be a hero, this time. When he landed in his old body - more or less - on Earth, the Final Reaper once again became Thomas. He was both and neither. He needed a new name for a new life. Serenity. ------------------------------------------ While this is technically a System Apocalypse story, it's a System Apocalypse that is designed to have a large percentage of the population survive and prosper. There are a lot of problems that come with the appearance of the Voice, and it's entirely possible to lose. Earth has some special opportunities, but also special challenges. The first time around, Earth won the first round and lost the second. Serenity has ten years from when the Voice arrives to prevent that from happening. It will be a group effort; Serenity can't win alone - which is difficult for someone who's been alone for as long as he has. Of course, that's only his second priority. ------------------------------------------- Updates Daily A note on the nonhuman lead tag: He isn't human, and hasn't been human for a very, very long time (or maybe not long at all, depending on how you count it). He still thinks of himself as human, either way. The content warnings are mostly to give me room to write; this fiction is not intended to be edgy, but once in a while a character will swear or someone will get seriously injured. The cover image is a Chandra/Hubble composite image of VV 340 / Arp 302 / UGC 9618. While we're not going to space itself any time soon in the story, people from elsewhere are coming to Earth and Serenity will visit other planets. Plus, I like space imagery.
