We got back to the house at nearly midnight, meaning it was almost seven AM at home. Before he fell asleep, Tom went to the room he was staying in to FaceTime Aella, leaving Brendon and I to be alone in the living room. He had fallen asleep right after we finished eating, and slept most of the plane ride here, so he said he wasn't that tired.
"Cam?" he spoke, his voice almost at a whisper.
"Yes Brendon?"
"Can we talk? Like in all seriousness, no joking around," he asked, a deadpanned look on his face.
"Yeah of course. What's up?"
"Do you think that you could ever give me another chance?"
"Yeah, I think I could. Would you like me to?"
"There's nothing I would like more Cam. These past four months that we've been broken up, have been some of the worst in my life; worse than when my parents kicked me out, worse than when the band split, hell even worse than when I found out everything that had happened with Sarah. I- I missed you so much, but I couldn't do anything because I knew that it was I who fucked everything up in the first place. I am so sorry Cam. I should've told you that Sarah and I met up while I was in Vegas, and I so regret it now. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me, an-and I don't think I could survive without you in my life."
By this time, tears are streaming down my face. I knew that my eyes were red and puffy, along with the rest of my face being the same.
"Br-brendon," I start, but can't continue due to the sobs coming out of my mouth. With everything that has been going on recently, I've been trying to keep busy so I didn't think about it. When I called Brendon yesterday, I had broken down for the first time. This time, it was about to be a whole lot worse.

A few days before we wrapped on season 1 of Supergirl in Vancouver, Addilyn and I had gotten in a huge fight over practically nothing. We hadn't seen each other the entire time I was there, despite her not filming at all and me very little. I had asked her why, and she got mad and started yelling at me, which led to a huge fight between us; our first one ever. I left her apartment crying, and she didn't even seem affected by it. We had kept up appearances online for a large number of reasons, but mainly so we didn't get any bad publicity for either of our shows.
That was the night that I received the phone call about my dad. I hadn't even made it back to my hotel room yet, and I was told that he had killed himself. It later turned out to be murder, but I didn't know that until a few days later when I was able to fly down. I didn't have my medication or Brendon to calm me down, so that flight really didn't end well.
The pain of what happened between Brendon and I never went away either. I had kept it to myself, in order to keep a decent public appearance. All three of these things finally drove me to the edge, when I called Brendon.
He didn't say anything as he pulled me into his shoulder, running his hands through my hair in attempt to calm me down. It worked a little, and I was able to explain to him everything that had happened.
"Oh my god Cam, I am so sorry. I- I had no idea."
"It's fine Bren, you had no way of knowing," I replied to him, wiping me tears using my sleeve. He pulled me into his lap like he used to, and held me there, my head resting on his shoulder.

We sat there for what felt like hours, but actually was only about 10 minutes. My crying had subsided, but I knew my face was still red.
"Brendon?" I whispered against his chest, so low I didn't think he heard it.
"Yes?"
"Can you promise me something?"
"Of course."
"Can you promise that if I let you in again, you won't break my heart again?" I ask him, my voice still just above a whisper.
"I promise you that Cam, you just have to give me the chance," he replies, him voice changing to match my volume. I pull my chest away to look at him. We made eye contact and kept it unbroken.
I don't know who started it first, but we were both leaning in, our eye contact still in place. It was broken by me, as I slid my eyes eyes closed as our lips met.
It started out soft at first, like we were 14 and having our first kiss ever. Our lips barely brushing against the other person's, but that changed quickly. I pressed mine against against his harder, and our lips start molding together. He pulls me in closer, and I run my hands through his hair.
We pull away, and are both out of breath. It takes us a second to regain it, and I move out of his lap and sit next to him again.
"That was..." he started.
"Yeah," I breathed out.
"Uhm, I just came down to say goodnight, but I saw that instead and now I think I'm blind," Tom said, stumbling into the room. His eyes were covered by his left hand, and he tried to sit on the couch, but missed it by a foot and fell on his ass instead. Brendon and I both started laughing at his, and he uncovers his eyes and stands up. "Seriously though guys, get a room. And get one when I'm not around, because I don't want to hear that shit. Goodnight guys, no sex while I'm here please."
"No promises!" Brendon shouts after him, and I shove him.
"What the actual fuck?" I ask him.
"What?! I'm not promising him anything!"
"Yeah, no Brendon."

To Sleep, Perchance to Dream
Dying was unpleasant, but coming back to life? How was that even possible? And what are these words that keep appearing before me? This...isn't how life works. Maybe I'm insane. I guess it's time to find out. If I die, will I come back again? Thanks for reading! Please leave a rating or a review! Knowing people are enjoying the story really encourages me to write more. Also, I apologize for the typos. When I get the time, I'll go back and fix them, but they may linger at times. I don't have lots of time for writing, so I'm not always able to do much editing before posting.
