Exclusive Interview with Brendon Urie!

Hello, welcome Brendon Urie!

It's so nice to be here today, thank you for having me!

The pleasure is all ours. So, you have a new album coming out in a little over a month, what can you tell us about the music on it?

It's all so different from the type of stuff Panic! has done before. I can't wait for everyone to hear it!

What is your favorite song off of the album?

There's too many to choose from! I really like Golden Days, Hallelujah, and King of the Clouds though. There's so much about these songs that just are different from everything else.

What is the story behind those three?

Um, I'm a huge fan of the Instagram account sunshinemoon, who only posts yellow pictures with these amazing captions. She's never posted a picture of her face, and her name is nowhere on the account. Golden Days is about how I used to think about her, but it's weird now because now I know her, and she's actually a very close friend of mine now. The song was originally written as a conversation between me and another person, just wondering out who the person behind the account was. She's heard the song and everything, and hasn't said anything about it other than she loves it.

This is terrible timing, but Hallelujah is about how this person gets caught cheating on their significant other, and what they were told. I based this song off of what Sarah told me when I caught her cheating on me. Shit, I didn't mean to say that. Fuck.

Anyways, King of the Clouds is written about how I felt with my girlfriend. Whenever I was around her, I felt like the king of the clouds. She made me so incredibly happy, and I was always on cloud-9 when we were together.

That is truly amazing. Now, I hate to bring it up, but you gave me the perfect segway into the next question.

Oh shit, I can tell where this is going.

What is your current relationship status with Camari Jacobs?

To be completely honest with you, I don't even know that. We FaceTimed after the article came out, and it ended with us both in tears and some words, or in my case, a lack of words, that I wish I could take back. It is not completely up to me to discuss what happened during that call, as I wasn't the only person involved in it. I want to respect her privacy.

What about what was said in that article? Is any of that true?

Sort of. I have never cheated on anybody before, and I never will, since I know what it feels like to be on the other end of it. That being said, yes, Sarah did cheat on me, and she was for most of our relationship. When I found out about this, I was devastated. I told myself that I will never, ever put another person through the pain I went through.

Sarah and I met up while I was In Vegas visiting my family, as she wanted to explain herself after four years of radio silence. I figured I at least had to give that to her. She took the picture of us, but I have no idea why she put that caption, or the purple heart emoji that Camari and I used. Do you mind if we talked about something else?

Of course! Right now, we are going to play the hit single from Panic! at the Disco's upcoming album, Pray for the Bachelors! Here is, Victorious!
