School had ended and Gracie is sitting on a seat at the bus stop, waiting for the bus to arrive. As she was busy staring at some random place while waiting fir the bus, a car halted in front of the bus stop.

The car's window was rolled down, revealing non other than her ex-crush, Bi Wenjun.

"Hey Gracie! Hop on!", the guy half-shouted at her.

Gracie didn't think much about the offer and just took it. She got up from the seat while Wenjun got out of the car. The boy held the door open for her as she entered the car.

After that, he closed the door, went into the driver's seat and started to drive.

At first, the car was filled with silence before Wenjun decided to break it.

"So I heard that you agreed to date Chengcheng", he said.

"Uh... Yeah. Nongnong pleaded me to do so", she said.

Wenjun glanced at her before eyeing back the road.

"But I like him already so it's fine", she added.

Wenjun sighed in relief upon hewring her words.

"Good, because I don't want you to break Chengcheng's heart or anything", Wenjun said seriously as he focused on driving.

The ride after that was filled with Wenjun lecturing and nagging her about dating Chengcheng.

"Sheesh, I never thought he would be such a grandma", Gracie mentally sighed.

"By the way Wenjun... What's your... relationship with Chengcheng?", the girl slowly and carefully asked as she remembered that Chengcheng told her that Wenjun maybe works for him.

"Oh, I'm his assistant slash friend", the boy simply replied.

"And... I'm actually taking you to his house", he added.

Upon hearing what Wenjun said, Gracie accidentally blurt out a curse word in front of her senior.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Wenjun just laughed at the girl's reaction. He did expect her to be shocked from the revelation.

"You should've told me!", she said as she huffed in anger. She didn't want to suddenly meet Chengcheng again. She'll get all shy and embarrassed in front of him, especially if he did some flirty actions.

"You've told him that you'll just date him right?", Wenjun asked her.

"Yeah, I texted him after class but he didn't reply anything though", she said.

"Oh yeah, he doesn't know you're coming. I'm just trying to surprise him", Wenjun informed Gracie.

"Oh I see... I thought Chengcheng asked you to pick me up"

Gracie then took out her handphone from her blazer's pocket to see if Chengcheng had replied to her message that she had sent to him.

"He didn't see the message...", Gracie said quietly, but Wenjun heard it.

"Ah, maybe he was busy in school. But since when did he even study properly?", Wenjun said rolling his eyes and chuckled after thinking about his boss slash friend.

After that, the both of them had small talks before arriving in front of Chengcheng's house.

"We're here", Wenjun announced as he stopped the car.

"Holy shit... Is he THAT rich?", Gracie's mouth went wide open seeing the humongous mansion right in front of her.

The boy just let out a small laugh before exiting the car and went to her side to open the door for her.

"What a gentleman you are hmm", she praised him as she got out of the car.

"Thanks... It's just simple manners to treat a lady like this. Plus you're now Chengcheng's girlfriend. I need to treat you right before he kills me", Wenjun said as he smiled at her.

"Follow me", he said before leading her to the door.

Gracie just followed Wenjun from behind as the doors opened, revealing maids and butlers neatly lined and bowing down at Wenjun.

The both of them flashed smiles at the workers.

"Wah... I can't believe if I ever be Chengcheng's girlfriend. Will his parents even accept a normal girl like me?", Gracie thought. She was scared if it'll be like one of those dramas where the rich parents won't accept their children's non-rich lovers.

They walked passed the maids and butlers and entered another room.

"Oh, Wenjun! What are you doing here? Did Chengcheng call for you?", a voice was suddenly heard. The two turned to the side, revealing a sophisticated-looking woman, who looked like she was in her 50s.

Gracie followed Chengcheng's actions on bowing at the woman.

"This must be Chengcheng's mother...", she suddenly felt nervous. What woudd Chengcheng's mother say about her?

"And who is this pretty girl you brought here?", the woman asked, eyeing Gracie first before looking back at Wenjun.

Gracie who felt nervous just gave the woman a smile.

"Ah, her name is Gracie Kwan", Wenjun said before jogging towards the woman.

It looked like he was whispering something into the woman's ears. The woman had a very bright smile as she heard what Wenjun said. The woman approached Gracie after hearing on what Wenjun had to say.

"Ah so you are the girl that Chengcheng likes. Nice to meet you, Gracie", the woman said as she smiled at Gracie.

Gracie blushed at what the woman said.

"Nice to meet you too, Mrs. Fan", she answered shyly. Chengcheng's mother looked like she was happy to see Gracie.

"Chengcheng had told me that heliked a girl from Wenjun's school. And he also said that the girl likes him back. But why didn't you two start earlier? I've been dying to see my son to have a girlfriend", Chengcheng's mother said.

Gracie just awkwardly laughed at the woman's words.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Fan. I should've realized how a great guy your son is earlier", she said.

"Hahaha, it's okay. Chengcheng is upstairs at his room. Please take care of my son, Gracie", the woman said as she held Gracie's hand.

"I won't let you down, Mrs. Fan", Gracie said as she flashed her sweet smile at the woman.

After her encounter with Chengcheng's mother, Wenjun brought her upstairs to Chengcheng's room. They kept passing different corridors making the girl dizzy and tired. There's no way she could find the way out by herself.

Finally, they reached in front of a room. The door was carved with "Fan Chengcheng" on it.

Wenjun knocked on the door several times before hearing a "come in" from the inside of the room.

"Okay, I'll go in first, you come in when I ask you to, okay?", Wenjun said to her.

Gracie just nodded as an answer. She doesn't know why, but she felt nervous to see Chengcheng again. Did he see her message yet? She would feel embarrassed if she had to tell him that she would date him.

Wenjun opened the door and entered the room. Gracie heard the two guys talking but she couldn't clearly tell what they were saying. Plus, she shouldn't eavesdrop their conversation.

After a few good minutes, Wenjun called her to go inside.

"You can come in now"

Gracie calmed herself and took a deep breath before stepping inside the room.

"Hi Chengcheng"

Gracie smiled shyly and looked down to her feet. Chengcheng was sitting on the bed, but after he saw his visitor, he immediately stood up.

"GRACIE?!", Chengcheng shouted enthusiastically.

"Yeah... Haha", Gracie rubbed her arms in shyness. She didn't know why she was SO shy in front of Chengcheng. Wenjun who was at the side just chuckled to himself seeing Chengcheng so happy and Gracie so shy.

"Did you see my message?", she asked the boy.

"Uh no. I didn't check my phone. Why? What is it?", Chengcheng asked.

"Just check it", Gracie said as she ran towards Wenjun. The girl hid herself behind the boy's tall figure. She gripped his shoulder and shook the him in nervousness.

Gracie and Wenjun just looked at Chengcheng who was checking his phone.

After a minute, Chengcheng looked up and looked at the girl.

"You'll date me?"
