The prompt I chose is: "You look yummy".

Warnings: slight swearing

When you had offered to your friend to bake for her wedding you had expected her to say no, but what she did say was yes.

It had been a joke rather than a serious suggestion, but when she put as much faith in you as agreeing to you baking for her wedding you decided not to disappoint her.

You weren't supposed to bake the cake, luckily, but you had suggested that you would bake some sides such as chocolate chip muffins, cinnamon rolls and some fruit cake, and she had loved the suggestion.

You loved baking, so you decided to do as you had suggested, especially since your friends all loved your baking.

Your boyfriend Alfred supported you, of course, aside from the fact that he had to grin as you frantically told him about the miscommunication between you and your friend and how it affected you.

Alfred was friends with the groom, it was your relationship that had brought your friends together, though they seemed to move on faster than you.

You didn't mind of course, you were happy with Alfred, in whichever way you didn't mind, and he was your date to their wedding.

Alfred, in his wisdom, had taken the day before the wedding off of work so he could support you in your baking, and maybe even help.

It would have been an exaggeration to say that he had baked before, but he loved to cook for you, which though it wasn't the same was close enough to support you.

You would spend most of the day in the kitchen, baking different treats for the luckily only about fifty people attending, and though he knew you could handle it he wanted to be there for you, in case your nerves played you.

He knew that he would be worried to mess up, and he wanted to be there if you did too, to help you calm down.

When he woke up in the morning you were already gone, and he could hear you rattling in the kitchen of the apartment you shared together.

Trying to rid himself of the sleep by running his hand over his face he got up, his long dark hair messily falling down his face, to see how you were doing.

Dragging his feet sleepily into the kitchen he regained some composure as soon as he set eyes on you.

"Good morning, Katherine", he grumbled as he looked at you, eyes still halfway closed and watching you jump around the kitchen, your short curls falling into your face as messily as his hair looked as well.

"Good morning, babe", you answered as you moved towards him to press a kiss to his cheek before moving back to what you had started again.

He chuckled, still sleepy and reaching for the can of coffee that you brew every morning.

When he tried to poor some into his cup he realized that there was nothing in it anymore.

"You drank the whole can?", he asked incredulously as he watched you take a sip from your cup, fully concentrated on the tasks at hand.

He chuckled at your enthusiasm before letting the machine brew a new can of coffe and taking a quick shower and brush his teeth.

When he returned he saw that you were fully in control of the situation, and after watching you for a few moments he moved to his study to work on some papers he had taken with him.

After hours of work he heard the sound of metal hitting tiles, followed by loud cursing, and though he didn't want to he had to grin.

Walking into the kitchen he found you in the middle of a massacre, the metal bowl and whisk on the floor, and half-finished dough on the tiles, cupboards, and from what he could see even the ceiling.

When he looked at you he had to bite his lip not to start laughing.

You were covered in the dough as well, some of it had made it onto your shirt, cheek, and was even smeared on your glasses.

When you heard Alfred enter the kitchen you turned to face him, shocked by the mess you had made.

You didn't know what to do next because you had planned everything strictly, and it was getting to you.

Alfred didn't say anything as he just stood there facing you, before a grin made its way onto his face.

"You look yummy", he said softly, referring to the dough that was splayed across your front and you laughed shortly, in anger and amusement at the same time.

"Bite me", you answered, and now Alfred laughed, moving towards you.

Alfred was usually shy with people except for with the woman he was in a relationship in it seemed, because he moved in closer until his lips were inches from yours before sticking his tongue out and licking some of the unfinished dough off your cheek.

It was funny as well as slightly disgusting and certainly not appropriate and you had to laugh at the disgusted face he made as he pulled back.

"I said bite me, not lick me, Alfie", you chuckled, blushing as much as he was.

He gave you an incredulous look before nodding towards the mess you had made, his pale face turning redder by the second.

"It's a good thing I bought more ingredients than just those you wrote on the list, isn't it?", he asked you smugly and you bit your lip as you reluctantly nodded.

You were still staring at the mess you had made when Alfred nudged you, smiling slightly.

"I'll clean and you bake?", he asked and you smiled at him gratefully, setting a soft and sugary sweet kiss on his lips.

Before you continued to bake you went to clean yourself up, and continued to work on what you had started.

After hours of baking you were finally finished, and Alfred was left with unclean bowls and dishes.

He had helped you bake, weighing flour, sugar, butter, or various ingredients when you didn't have the time and clean used dishes after you had deserted them, and was now watching the last tray of muffins bake in the oven, standing next to you with an arm around your waist.

The apartment was filled with the smell of baked goods, cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla and the smell of various fruits filling the air, as well as said baked goods were filling the kitchen and dinner table.

Alfred left you watching the muffins before he returned, smearing a small amount of dough that had been left in the bowl onto your lips before leaning in to kiss it away.

After chuckling softly he nodded, smiling at you.

"Yes, this one was much better", he grinned and you smiled back at him.

When the final tray had been pulled out of the oven to cool the two of you allowed yourself to rest, sitting at the kitchen counter.

Baking had been exhausting for you and even Alfred who had done far less than you was exhausted as well.

You were silently drinking tea, your feet on his lap when he chuckled, looking at you.

"I'm sorry, but I have to say this, love", he began as he gently caressed your ankle, the motion leaving sparks where he had traced your skin.

"I don't think I want you to bake at our wedding", he joked and you had to laugh at his remark.
