They had wanted to test out the bow they had made her. But Margrethe had ran up quickly to them and said, "Floki. He's returned." Grace didn't wait around for her brother and ran into the great hall. She left behind her Bow and Ubbe had to pick it up and follow.

"Floki!" She yelled and he sat quick and she ran to him and hugged him tightly. "I'm so glad to see you. How are you?" "I'm doing great. Amazing even." She nodded and pulled away with a smile.

"Floki." "Ubbe. Ubbe." Grace smiled as her older brother walked over to the man. She walked over to stand nearly behind Lagertha, who smiled at her.

"The last time I saw you, you were sailing away in a small boat with no means of navigation. You'd given yourself to the gods." "Oh, and the gods provided." Grace stood straighter and listened in as careful she could.

"In what way?" "They took me to a place. A special place. I was dead and then I was alive. And then I came ashore. And I was in this special place." Floki looked toward Grace who gave him a smile then back to Lagertha.

"Where was this place?" "At the edge of everything, and yet at the very center of it all. There's no one else there. No humans. Only the gods." Ubbe stood from his crouched position to lean against a pillar.

Grace hit his arm and he shook his head at her. "Why did you come back here, Floki?" "Because I felt that it was wrong to keep this amazing place to myself. I want to share it." "With whom?"

Grace smiled as she was happy Floki was and leaned her back against the same Pillar as Ubbe. "With those who believe in the true gods. I only want those who are pure in spirit and heart. This place is only fit for true believers."

"Like you?" "Yes. Like me." Grace felt Ubbe nudge her shoulder with his hand and swatted it away. "But not like me? Or not like Ragnar? We were never pure like you are."

"I can't say. All I know is that the gods have sent me here to find kindred spirits. Those who are willing to live our lives among the gods." "You would take these warriors and shield maidens away from here, to your special place?"

"Yes! If they are willing to come with me." Lagertha then stood which cause Grace to stop leaning. "In that case, I must warn you, my friend. This is my kingdom. I rule Kattegat. And I must protect it, and look after it and it's people."

"Especially now, when we have every reason to expect another attack from the forces of king Harald. The last thing i need is for someone to take away my best warriors, my best hopes. Our best hopes. You mustn't try to do it, Floki. I forbid you. Do you understand?"

Everyone waited for him to answer and he nodded his head. "Should we continue?" Grace asked Ubbe who put his arm around her shoulder with a nod. They left the great hall and went to the training ground.

"Do you remember how to-" he was cut off when she shot off one of the arrows he had missed her pick up. "I'm sure I can handle this." He nodded with his hand up in mocking offence.

He left to sit on a tree stump and watch her shoot the arrows. The sun had started to go down and Grace still wanted to shoot. "Do not look at me that way." He told her as she gave him the eyes.

"Why not just one more?!" She yelled and he sighed handing her the bow. She shot off the last arrow he gave her then took it from her. She gave him a joking curtsy and followed him out of the woods.
