She then felt arms around her from behind once she let go of the body. "It's okay." The voice of Halfdan said to her in a soothing voice. He then helped her to stand and she fell into his arms into sobs again.
"He just." She couldn't finish her sentence as she kept crying. Bjorn ran and jumped back on to the floor to stand in front of her. "Gather things. He shall have a good funeral." He yelled as everyone heard his words they stopped staring at Grace and went about.
"Your okay." Halfdan said as he had his arms around her taking her to a room. "I'm sorry. I just could not help it." She said wiping her tears away and softly sighing.
Soon there was a loud noise of the door opening. "Grace!" She heard someone yell and ran to see Hvitserk. She ran into his arms and put his head on top of hers. "He is ready. I got you a flower." She pulled away and smiled.
"It was his favorite. How did you know?" She asked him as she took the flower. "I remember you telling me about it one night. when you had comforted him after he had a nightmare." She nodded and turned to Halfdan and said "will you be coming."
He nodded as he walked behind Hvitserk and opened the door for them to walk out. Once they made their way to where he was laid she walked up. She held the flower up to the sky then placed it on the sword in the hands.
She stood between Hvitserk and Ubbe who had a hand on her back in case she started to cry again. Everyone looked at Ivar but she ignored his presence and looked toward her brother. They sent him aflame on the lake as she turned and everyone made way.

She found herself seated next to Halfdan in the tent as he had a hand on her back as she had her head down. "I know what you're all thinking. But it is not true! I didn't mean to kill him." She heard Ivar speak as she looked up.
"You didn't mean to? Your going to sit there and tell me you didn't mean to kill my brother!" She yelled at him but was stopped as Halfdan pulled her into a side hug. "He made me kill him."
She saw Bjorn walk in and look at Ivar then he looked towards her. "He taunted me. He made fun of me. What was I supposed to do? What kind of man taunts and tells lies about his own brother?" She stood and let go of Halfdan.
She walked over to Havitserk and put her hand on his shoulder as he spoke. "And what lies did he tell?" "Well, you know that as well as I do, Hvitserk." "He said you weren't a real man." Ubbe spoke up as she moved towards the tents exit.
"You will never be a man in my eyes, Ivar. You will be just another Viking. Who kills just to be seen as the same as others." She felt Ivar look towards her and she turned and stared him in the eyes. "Until you become a real man, don't ever come near me ever."
She left the tent and went to wait for her brothers to leave. She saw them all leave the tent as everyone started packing up their things. She saw Bjorn walk up to her with a flower he picked.
"I'm sorry about Sigurd, dear sister." She gave him a half smile as he gave her the flower. "Did you keep the one I gave you." He nodded and pulled it out of the side of his shirt. It made her smile that he had actually kept it.

My Good Friend Murphy
***Disclaimer*** I wrote and am writing this purely for my own amusement. That means that this could have major revisions done to it sporadically, it has more grammar errors than even the most mentally stable grammar nazi could withstand, and will not update at all regularly. This is an ad-hoc fun experimental work with forced motives, plotholes, and static characters. Don't expect too much. That said, this mutated mistake of a short novella follows a ditzy MC who has been transported to a new world with the dubiously useful skills origin and enigma and the obnoxiously imbalanced skill, traveler. If you'd like more incentive to give it a shot, you will never get spoilers about the plot because there isn't one (Actual synopsis coming soon, relative to eternity)
