She was sat at the table as Ivar went to see Floki and Lagertha to god knows what. She had finished eating and got up as servants hurried to clean up.
She walked her way to the seamstress. "Is it ready." She asked the lady who had come to greet her. "it is." The lady said smiling as she grabbed the gown.
Grace smiled as tears fled to her eyes. She quickly wiped them away and took the dress. "Thank you." She told her as she walked out and to her room.
She put it on and admired the sewing and twirled. The door opened to Ubbe "This the dress, you told me about." He said as she stopped and smiled. "It looks great, dear sister." He told her as he patted her head.
"Me and Ivar will be talking about building an army." He told her as he went to the door. "Why can you not leave things be." She told him getting mad. "Mother said she didn't want revenge."
Ubbe just nodded along with what she said. "I heard her say it, I did, not you." She said as she then stormed past him as he started to feel guilty. "You look beautiful." She heard a voice say as she came to a stop. She turned slowly fearing the worst but saw Halfdan.
"Oh, thank you." She told him and walked away leaving him alone. "Sister." She heard a voice stop her again. "What do you want!" She shouted out of frustration and turned to see Hvitserk.
"I brought you a cloak, Sister." He said gently knowing she was aggravated. "What made you this angry." He said as he put the cloak on her and tied it. "Ubbe." He looked at her shocked "I thought you loved him."

She smiled and nodded. "At the moment, I do not. If you need me I'll be anywhere but here." She said walking away. "So you'll be near the forest!" He yelled a She turned and nodded.
Few minutes later Hvitserk came to her and said "Ubbe is getting married, come on." And dragged her by her hands to the ceremony. She was stood next to Ivar.
"Who gives this woman away to her new husband?" The lady asked as Hvitserk stepped up "I do." He gave her the ring to which she placed blood on her palm as well as the ring.
She gave the ring to Ubbe and he put it on Margrethe's finger. "And so I name you man and wife. And may the gods bless you, and give you children, and may they keep the wolf from the door." She said and put blood on their faces then they kissed.
She was happy for her brother as she knew her mother would be also. She started to clapped "And now, the bridal race!" She yelled and Ubbe and Hvitserk started their run.
They both tried to knock each other down. She was cheering on both of them and Ubbe won. She smiled as every man went to the feast. "Brother, I am beyond joyed for you." She told Ubbe and hugged him tightly.
"Soon it will be you." He told her smiling then left with the men. She started her walk out of the forest while smiling. Soon it as dark and she knew she should head to bed.
But then she saw Harald and Halfdan talking to guy near the boats. "Enough to know they are not as safe and secure as they think they are." She stopped and hid behind the closest home. "Go and make your plans." She heard Halfdan say.

She stopped listening and quietly made her way to her room. She felt she was going crazy by what she had heard. She thought about if she should tell her brothers and if she was safe.
"Sister." She heard from the door and she turned quickly. "Sigurd, what is it?" She asked as he nodded to outside. "The sacrifice." He said and she nodded. She had completely forgot about it.
Now she stood between Ubbe and Sigurd. She glanced and saw Harald and Halfdan and immediately started to feel unsafe. But she knew her brothers would die for her as she would them.

Parallels
Parallels are a constant in life. Our friends' lives often run parallel to ours; we share similar experiences or tastes- perhaps even both. Sometimes, however, opposites attract- and our lives run perpendicular. In that case, we are not attracted by similarities; rather, we are attracted to the differences in others. So, what happens when two parallels are broken apart? What might happen to them? Are they forever doomed to run alongside each other, never seeing one another, never meeting? Or, perhaps, might they be spun about? Could these lines that formerly ran alongside one another meet? Could they possibly be set perpendicular? Any feedback is welcome, so long as it is constructive. Also, you may not use any characters, ideas, places, or what have you that I present here without my explicit permission. A note: This is a story which I began over a year ago, but never got around to finishing- it feels about time to really get it going. Now, there are a couple of things about the story, and myself, that need to be said. First and foremost, there's a slow start, but by the third-fourth chapter things should be speeding up a bit. Secondly, in regards to release speed and/or word count per chapter, I make no promises- my schedule is fairly random, and in regards to word count, I will cut off any chapter at any point that feels appropriate to me- that may include cliffhangers, if necessary. I'm not trying to reach a specific word count, I am trying to create a cohesive story, with pseudo-appropriate chapter breaks. This means I will also not rush a half-baked release for the sake of getting a release out. Thirdly, I will make any edits, anywhere in the story and at any time, that strike me as necessary- typically being wording and/or formatting changes, but I may also decide to change major plot points- in that case I would put a notification in the next chapter released. Finally, and most importantly, I am a Christian; this story is intended to at least moderately reflect those values. So, if you particularly dislike any of these things, feel free to look elsewhere, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. God bless, friends.
