She woke early and got herself dressed in her mothers favorite dress. She made her way out to find Ivar. As she came to the blacksmith she could hear him. "Have you been here all night?" She asked him making her way inside.
He continued and spared her a glance. "Hvitserk, should be back any day." She told him as she sat. She kept thinking of her brother as she missed him dearly. He was the only person to go to the forest for flowers with her.
"I'm glad for you, sister." He said when he stopped and she smiled. "You need to sleep, Ivar." He shrugged as he went back to his work. "Ivar and Grace, your father is dead. Killed by serpents. Cold in the cold, iron earth, Ragnar lies." Said a man that looked as Odin.
Grace felt tears fall to her lap as she sat. She then decided to stand and went to Ivar. He was very much angry but equally sad. She put her arms around him and cried to his shoulder. He let her knowing how much a toll it took on her.
She thought about when Hvitserk would find out, and little did she know he wanted to be with her to. "I will be going." She said wiping her tears and walking out. As she walked to the forest she heard metal clanging.
She sat under a tree as she cried. She thought about when her and Ragnar used to play in the forest. It became her safe haven once he left due to the good memories she had. Those memories were know far gone as she cried.
She heard footsteps and looked to find Ubbe. He was shocked as he came to find her to see if she was fine. He fell to the ground next to her. "He's dead, Ubbe. I mean he's actually dead." She said with sobs racking her voice. He took her into his arms as she started to sob again.

"I know." Was all he said and he rocked back and forth with her. As they sat there it began to rain. "We must get home. A storm may be coming." He said getting up with her still in his arms. She nodded as she pulled away "Can I stay with you?" She asked as he nodded quickly.
When they reached his room she told him "I need one thing. I will be back after." He nodded going into his room. She ran to her room and grabbed the last gift her father gave her. It was a coin from before he left. He had left that coin on her pillow for her to find.
She went back to Ubbes room with the coin in hand. She got into the bed as Ubbe did to. She turned to her side clutching the coin to her heart. She felt Ubbe move so his back was to hers touching, so she could feel safe and at ease. Soon she fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning she woke to Ubbe gone and still had the coin in hand. She got up and went to the door. Soon it was open with Sigurd standing there "we are having a meeting. Let's go." He said linking their arms together.
Once they reached the place she sat down next to Ivar. Sigurd went about sharping a knife at the door. "That is my knife. That is my knife." Ivar repeated as Sigurd closed the door.
"No it is not." Sigurd said sitting down. "Give it to me." "Your crazy. It's not your knife. Father gave me this knife." "I want it. I will kill Lagertha with it. I will kill Lagertha with Fathers knife!" He said making his way to Sigurd but Sigurd moves to face away.

"Well, you can't have it." "You are both being children." Grace said as Ubbe said "that's enough." But as that was said Ivar slipped the chair from under Sigurd. "Can you boys be nice for once!" She yelled at then standing up.
They fought on the floor as Ubbe stood and separated them. Grace went to Ivar as Ubbe made Sigurd stand. "We have an important decisions to make." "As usual you must tell us how to behave." "Who else would do it?" Ubbe told him then sat down.
"I wish Bjorn was here." "You think he knows about father?" "Oh, so, you think that Odin told us, but forgot to tell Bjorn? Hmm?" Ivar said then tapping his head. "Hopefully he will be home soon. In the meantime, it is up to us to decide what to do." Ubbe said as Grace sat back down where Ubbe previously was.
"What about Hvitserk?!" She asked in a yell. She thought to why her brothers forgot of him. She stood fast and went out of the room.

Tavern Cat
Dying and being reborn in a fantasy world as a hero destined to kill the Demon King to prevent a great war is some people's greatest dream. Others, however, may prefer to sit around, relax, take a few naps, and ignore the impending doom. And hey, if such a 'hero' gets reborn as a cat, what's gonna stop them from doing all that? Finding a warm home filled with food, gossip, and comfort sounds a whole lot easier than putting in the work to stop a war. Updating weekly, allegedly. Constructive criticism is appreciated as this is my first story!

Maker of Fire
On a world where magic kept civilization firmly in the bronze age, the Gods dropped an accountant and a mining engineer to start a political and industrial revolution. They wanted enlightened governance and a fast track to the iron age. They got indoor plumbing, paper airplanes, a cranky queen, and one very grumpy prophet. Dramatis Personae Aylem was a bookkeeping student when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as the greatest mage ever known, born into the ruling class of gigantic, magic-wielding humans. The Gods expect her to conquer the world and introduce double-entry accounting. Though Queen and numerical reformer, world conquest is stalled because everyone is scared of her and she doesn't like war. Emily was a retired engineer when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as one of the enslaved class of small, magicless humans. The Gods expect her to drag the world out of the bronze age. Though she's already recreated matches and wrought iron, introducing technology isn't going well because she was born a slave (oops) and having escaped, wants nothing to do with so-called "civilization." Asgotl was a whale when he died. The Gods reincarnated him as a griffin and expect him to have the same role he played in his previous life: to keep a reluctant prophet from walking off the job. If only they had remembered to tell him about it. Revised update schedule will be once a week on Saturdays, noonish Mountain Time (in North America)

Emperor NPC
The Demon Emperor had taken one billion lives and conquered the realms of elves, dwarfs, and giants. When the final realm of man fell to his armies, the stage was set for their world’s finale. A spire of brilliant light pierced the sky, and as the land was torn asunder, the demon emperor met his death. It was not by the hands of a hero, or goddess’ champion, but by a system developer—a creator of the VRMMO Ark World—masquerading as a god! “It’s ironic that it would be you,” said a voice in the black void of the quantum system. “Strange, that you’ve given me this quest, and stranger that I can’t do it without you.” By the power of the thirteenth system developer, the “goddess” Amarytha, the demon emperor was reborn in a new video game where his character never came to be. In the Ark World Sandbox, humans rule as gods over nations of NPCs. Through mastery of their administration commands, they hold absolute control. Only the demon emperor, liberated by the Player System, can challenge them. A crusade begins with one step. Freedom from humanity begins here! ---------------- I'm going to be upfront here. This is not an anti-hero story. So, if you've come for anti-hero you might not enjoy it. The cover art I commissioned from my friend @cyborgraptor. You can find her on twitter, or tumblr. Absolutely awesome person, and way too humble. She's also a great dps on WoW, and her and I always fought for top of the meters. I update every day, or nearly every day. I'll be updating this quickly as I bring it to parity with my other sites. Afterwards, expect 6 or 7 chapters a week. This is my only job and I approach it professionally.

Occultus Draconem
In an ancient time of Kings and Queens, the Humans lived in harmony with the great beings that roamed the Earth. No kingdom was more peaceful than Cadmus, where the Cadmians existed beside the greatest creatures of all, the Dragons. The ruler of Cadmus, King Anguis, although very young, was much beloved. He never turned a deaf ear to the Humans or Dragons of Cadmus, and the kingdom flourished. Under the protection of the Dragons and their Empress, Queen Maeve, paired with Anguis' extraordinary ability to keep peace, the lands prospered and grew tenfold within a few short years. Cadmus and Draconia became the greatest kingdoms known to exist. But it was not meant to last. King Anguis, barely into adulthood, was murdered in the night. His death rocked Cadmus to its core, and the Cadmians mourned with the Draconians, grieving for their beloved King. As Prince Agni, Anguis' younger brother, assumed the throne, he declared war on the Dragons, announcing that the kingdom would be Cleansed. He enlisted a brutal army of elite hunter-assassins known as the Enforcers to carry out the Cleansing, and the kingdom was consumed by a shadow of tyranny. Cadmus became a war zone, and the land of Draconia was devastated. A group of survivors of the Cleansing, Dragons disguised in Human form, created a secret society known as the Occultus Draconem. As King Agni's power grew and the Enforcers became more brutal than ever, a rebellion stirred. The Occultus Draconem began stepping in to stop the Cleansings, fighting back for the freedom of the Dragons and swearing to bring peace back to Draconia and Cadmus. But how can they succeed without the heir to the Draconian throne?
