《Vikings, Mini Drabbles》Ivar: Opposite girl

You were an outcast, for that you were dislike, hated. Because of your father his actions years ago nobody wanted you here back in Kattegat, thinking you would be just as treacherous like your father while all you did was smile and being that goodhearted girl. Walking over the street with a heavy bucket of wood nobody looked at you, nobody give a damn for your reasons on being here. But still, that smile laid on your lips, those soft eyes of yours didn't even shout any danger treason. You weren't that stubborn but you didn't let them break you down either, so they start hating your cheerful attitude, like you just didn't give a damn.
Except for him, Ivar. You stood still on the entrance of the great hall as one of his brothers walked out, shouting something hardly appropriate towards Ivar. You slowly walked in, seeing Ivar sitting at an table you pulled up a smile. Loving him wasn't the word, it was more ... attached. Since you came here he was looking at you, seining you as the outcast he was sometimes himself. He commanded that you would be a slave to the great hall, something about keeping enemies close but you didn't saw it like that. In a way you were childish, thinking he could love you but only the thoughts of it made you behave even kinder around him.
'Can I get you something?' You asked on a cheerful tone. He slowly looked up from his plate to you, blue eyes turning you upside down on the inside. 'Ivar?' You asked as he didn't immediately reacted.
'Silence, go away.' He gestured with his hand, ignoring you. But you just didn't took that seriously. You walked over to his table, filling his cup with ale.

'Do you want something to eat?' You offered, a hand resting on his shoulder, like you encouraged him to say yes. He immediately pulled his shoulder away from your hand, giving you a warning look. 'Your legs hurt?' You guessed gentle.
'If you don't walk out of that door now, I'm gonna make your legs hurt.' He threatened. You smile died for just a moment, satisfying him before you slowly smiled again, bowing slightly.
'Offcourse, you know where to find me if you need me. I'm always here for you, you know that right.'
'Go!' He hissed between clenched teeth. You bowed again and walked out, biting your lip, like a hundred butterflies flied around in your stomach, even after that bad mood of him.
You were fixing a dress when you heard the door crack. You looked up from the dress into the small candlelight of this evening towards his body, pulling himself forward into your way to little house.
'Ivar.' You sounded joyful, pushing yourself away from your seat to be there for him. 'Are you in need of something? Can I help you with something?' You almost wanted to help him crawl as he moved over to your bed.
'No, I'm not in need of something!' He huffed, pulling himself up on the bed while you sat down aside him, eager on doing something for him.
'Then why are you here?' You asked with innocents. He opened his mouth, closing it while he shortly looked aside to you. He wanted to say something, but he didn't found himself in speaking up. You softly grabbed his hand, an innocent gesture he wanted to protest but didn't on the last second. 'You can tell me anything.' You whispered, stroking his thumb over his hand. He looked down to it.

'Why are you staying so nice around me?'
'Because I like you.' Your honesty didn't know boundaries.
'Do you hate me, for what I have done?'
'I don't judge on actions, rather on feelings of the heart.' You said, a hand crawling up over his chest, softly touching his jaw. He settled, you saw him relax under your always positive and kind posture. 'You have a pure heart Ivar, I can tell.' You moved his head slowly, so he had to point his vulnerable eyes to you. He looked at you, looking for the truth to your words. Your smile came on your lips again and he slowly breathed out. He hesitated, bringing his head a little closer and you looked down to his lips, carefully covering distant before pressing your lips against his, so light, so delicate, so truly yourself.

No schedule. The first 20 or so chapters have a little cringe-inducing English. The story is slow and summoning spells are actually scarcely shown at the beginning. Avine: The Journey
Avine, the name recorded in the oldest records of faith concerning the creation of the world. The lands of Avine are in turmoil. A lengthy war recently ended. Casualties were terrible, but not limited to the dead alone. Breakdowns occurred in society, and kingdoms struggled with civil unrest and a never-ending stream of refugees. Mariel Bluegale has lived a relatively uneventful life. Largely sheltered from prejudice by her parents Serin and Arwaro, she grew up in a kingdom that prospered thanks to its strictly neutral policy. But the winds of war are once more on the horizon. Peace is merely the prelude to a new, even bigger conflict, one which may be decided on the identity of one. Release schedule: One chapter a week for the forseeable future. Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be in pieces, and likely around holidays. As always, any -painful- errors (spelling, flow, consistency or time) please let me know.
