《Vikings, Mini Drabbles》Halfdan: Dancing

Feeling how his lips moved against yours, how his tongue pursue yours, there wasn't a feeling you loved more than his greedy hands clenching into your sides. After weeks of waiting he finally got back and it filled you with an energy like nothing before. You ran out of breath, pushing him against his shoulder as he stepped you into a little turn. He grabbed your face against his firm hands, looking down to you with that little grin cocking up his lips. 'Did you miss me?' He asked. 'Wasn't that kiss not obvious enough?' You asked him back, a little painting. He slowly shook his head and you bite your lips in anticipation. 'Let's say that the nights were empty, the thought fully alive when I pretend you to be with me.' Something in his eyes changed on those words, imagining himself how you laid there at night, pretending his was right beside you. He licked his lower lip, pulling you into a sensual slow kiss that made you knees fell weak. 'Let's feast with the men before I go feast on that body of yours.' He whispered against your lips, leaving you fully filled with a desire, after all those months ... it's was normal right?
You weren't official his, not in the marriage kind of the definition. But men certainly knew he owned you, so when you were dancing they were all looking but not touching, not speaking. You felt a little important by it, making your moves more challenging, like you wanted them to start hunting you, like you wanted to cause a conflict between a leader and his men. But you didn't do it for that, you did it because you felt his broody eyes resting on you from where he sat aside his brother. You moved slower, moving your loose hair between your hands as you turned to face him, put a little more swung in the way your hips followed the rhythm of the sounds. It drove him crazy, you always being so energic, teasing him for you know he loved that body of yours. You froze when he gestured with his finger for you to come, bowing right there on the spot before walking over to that table. 'Around.' He pointed to the table in a neutral command. Your lips curled up, walking around it before standing still behind his chair. Your fingers scoured his shoulder, resting your fingertips against your neck. You suggested with a wide smile. Everything felt so big, so fully alive with his return back home. He grabbed your hand, pulling you down into his lap. 'You know I only know one way of dancing.' He reacted, kneading his fingers into your tights. You gasped, grabbing his wrist before he could show his attention with you before all of those people. He smoothed his hand, sliding it over to your waist as you wrapped your arm over his shoulder. 'Dance with me.' You repeated again. He lowered his face and kissed you again, making your stomach clench and your heart weak. 'Are there wounds needing treatment?' You asked him softly. He admired your energetic but as much he admired your sense for compassion. 'No,' He reacted, pressing his lips against your cheek. You hummed, closing your eyes, feeling his beard tickle against your chin. 'The only wound needing treatment is the wound of missing you.' He whispered into your ear. He didn't say it that often but when he said it your heart explode. He was the most ruthless man you knew and yet, only for you he showed a little of his light. 'Let's go treat that wound then.' You reacted softly. He pulled back, looking into your eyes as he slowly nodded. You stroke your fingers over his face, stroking his hair away. 'I'm wounded to.' You stated, feeling how his fingers grasped deeper into your waist, how he made you feel alive again and you ... him.

A Broken World [Dropped Pending Rewrite]
This work has been dropped- because I am rewriting it. Look forward to the new and improved "A Broken World," now available HERE on Royal Road! Three thousand years ago, Demonic creatures invaded the world. Though their power seemed irresitable, a band of heroes managed to steal the knowledge of summoning rituals and worlds from them and created, "The Millenial Summoning." A powerful magic that would bring forth a being from another world with the power to change the world forever. The first being summoned became known as "The Speaker," and he brought the power of the Gods with him. Teaching prayers and invocations that blessed humanities legions and began to push back the demons, founding of the "The Church of the Spoken Word" rose to power and a stalemate was reached. Two thousand years ago, that stalemate was broken by the second casting of "The Millenial Summoning," and the arrival of "The First Sorceress," who taught humanity the basics of magic and enchanting. With the power of the Sorceress, the mages, and the priests the tide turned and the Demonic hordes began to be shoved back, signaling hopes of a golden age for mankind. One thousand years ago, the hopes of final victory and a new dawn for mankind were dashed by traitors who slew the participants of the ritual and took their places, using the ritual to bring forth a godlike being from the demons home world, "The Demon King," for no human knew his name, erased millenia of growth reducing humanity to barely a fragment of its former glory. Now the ritual is being cast again, and a new being is being summoned... In our world, after nearly two decades of studious work, Luke Jaeger is making his dream come true. Working and going to school full time, sacrificing his health and social life in his youth, Lucas obtained Doctorates in genetics and virology, as well as associate degrees in business and accounting. Despite the challange of getting his business running, Lucas feels that his work has finally paid off. Lucas's car never left the banks lot, nor was Lucas ever seen again in our world.
