Long nights deserved a little more rest for you. But giving you had a son that kept you awake all night it was a little hard to do that. Despite, when you opened your eyes you saw it was already bright in the room. You turned around, looking at the empty spot aside you in the bed and the fact the crib were you son laid in was empty to. You pulled yourself out of bed, getting a dress on, braiding your hair before walking outside. You always were a little anxious when your son wasn't around. When you arrived at the great hall King Harald had here you stopped on the corner, looking how your son run thought a puddle of mud, giggling while Halfdan tried to catch him. This was such a rare sight, Halfdan had much time to play with your son. Seeing him always so fierce and reckless brought a huge different then how he was playing now, careful and with a smile. 'Mother.' Your son spotted you first, running as fast as his legs could carry him over to you. You crouched down, grabbing him with his wrist before he could wrap those muddy hands around you. 'What are you doing?' You asked with a smile. 'Playing with father.' He giggled, looking over his shoulder to Halfdan who was watching the both of you. 'Go make him dirty.' You nodded on his excitement. He turned around, running right at his father with his muddy hands up.
Halfdan really didn't care on greeting you and you really didn't care so you walked the great hall in, noticing Harald talking to one of his Vikings, he looked frustrated. When he spotted you he tried to relax his shoulders a little. 'Where is my brother?' He asked neutral, looking down to some kind of a map. 'Playing with his son.' 'I need him.' He answered quickly. You nodded, looking how he walked past you to the door. You watched how he kept standing in the doorway and you felt were this was heading so you walked to the door yourself to, standing still aside him. Your eyes rested on Halfdan and your son. 'If you wouldn't clench yourself to one princess all the time maybe you had this already to.' You said softly, smiling because of your son his joyful screams. Harald was already jealous from the moment your son was born. 'It's a weakness.' 'Did you ever saw Halfdan weak since he got that son?' You asked him a little impatience. Harald threw you an warning look. 'He is stronger than he ever has been. He has something to fight for. You are jealous.' You stated, challenging him in a way you never did before. 'You shut your mouth, you have no right to speak to me like this.' 'And you have no right to use my son as a way to,' You got interrupted by Halfdan. 'Brother.' He just said. Harald looked aside to his brother with your son on his arm before he spit on the ground and walked in. You let your breath go, forcing a smile on your lips for your son. 'Be careful around him.' Halfdan warned you. You nodded and he greeted you with a kiss. You rested your fingers under his chin on his beard. 'Don't let yourself cage by him. Don't give away your happiness for his jealousy.' You warned him right back. Your son putted his dirty arms out and you took him over. 'Although, if I get him always back like this I maybe keep you away.'

System Supervillain
I was there when it happened. When the walls of reality came crashing down upon us. When everything changed. I was there. I watched it happen. There wasn’t anything I could do, of course. When two veritable demigods are fighting to the death, getting caught in between is a great way to end up very dead. Or worse. That’s when it happened. Raw time crashed with pure paradox, and the universe itself screamed in torment. Night turned to day turned to yesterday and tomorrow and blue and yellow and whale and petunia, and then it snapped back, all at once, with a thunderous roar that was not heard but felt. And then I saw the blue box for the first time. ------------ A System Apocalypse event happens in a world of superheroes, like you would see in the comic books. What happens when the world changes, and heroes and villains are now bound by a System that limits their powers? What will change, and what will remain the same? This story will incorporate Champions/HERO System 5th Edition rules. There will be dice rolls determining the action, and blue boxes with lots of crunchy numbers. If you're not down for that, there are plenty of other stories on this site that you'll like. But if that sounds fun to you, then welcome aboard, and I invite you to see what happens when someone becomes a System Supervillain.
