"Bails I'm here!" I hear Caleb call up to me, I quickly grab my sweatshirt before hopping down the stairs.

Just as I enter the kitchen where Co had been standing, Beck comes in from the basement.

"Hey Beck," Caleb tries, Beck just ignores him though "Good talk,"

I gave up a week ago but Co refuses, he keeps trying. He doesn't say it, but I know he misses my brothers, bad. Thankfully Ace is still talking to us.

It's been two weeks and my brothers are really keeping their bullshit silent treatment going strong. Prom is in exactly two weeks, obviously I'm going with Co and Jordan's going with Lexi. Brett's driving in to surprise Ace, Ty asked a girl from our schools marching band while Wes asked a girl from the dance team. The two boys were planning on going together but then they both, at the same time, started talking to the girls and then told eachother that they were going with the girls at the exact same time. It was one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed, they were so guilty for bailing on eachother until they realized the other was going to do that same.

Arrex and Beck both asked Em and Amy, the two didn't say yes though.

Em told Arrex that if he thinks she'd say yes to him after the bullshit he pulled and is currently pulling on Co and I then he's a special kind of dumbass. Amy told Beck that she's not doing anything with him until he stops acting like a butt hurt twelve year old.

"I don't know why you keep trying," I huff, plopping down into my seat in his truck

"They're my best friends, even if they're not really acting like it right now, I gotta at least try with them," he shrugs "Now, you aren't going to pout and be crabby all night because if you are I'll leave you here, we're gonna go have fun and you're gonna smile and dance with me and laugh and sing. For a few hours we can pretend that your brothers aren't being complete unfair dickheads okay?"

"Okay," I can't help but grin at his puppy like face, he was cute and he was asking me for one night of not being uptight and bitter. I could do that.

"Good, now where is this band playin?"

"I'll look it up, lets go"

"C'mon! I wanna get a good spot!" I start pulling Co to the hill like a child. We were seeing a local band tonight, but they were one of my favorites. They did a wide range of rock, anywhere from the late 60's to modern rock and they only perform from April to early August. This was their first performance of the year, so you already know it's going to be crowded as hell.

"You're seriously pulling me like a four year old," he snorts "Chill, we'll get a good spot, we're early,"

I of course decide to not listen and continue pulling on his hand.

"I'm gonna let you go," he smirks

"Bet," of course I challenge him. We wouldn't be us if I didn't.

And that's exactly what he did, I fall right on my ass as he lets out the loudest laugh I've heard from him in a while. I didn't think we was actually gonna do it.

"You asshole!"

"Told you I was gonna do it," he just grins at me as he helps me up.

I go to dust myself off, however just as I do so my clumsy ass starts stumbling back and land right on my butt for the second time in three minutes. I swear I'm not drunk.

"Bailey?" I hear a voice other than Calebs laugh at me as a hand appears above my face.

"Dallas?" I question, grabbing his hand and standing up "Hey," I grin at him giving him a friendly hug

"Hey," he just smiles "You guys here for the band?" He questions just as Co appears by my side

"And the food trucks," Caleb just grins as hell does the guy hug thing with Dallas. After Co and I had gotten together, him and Dallas became somewhat friends I guess. They talked and worked out their petty stuff. "What're you doing here? Last time I checked you weren't the biggest fan of classic rock,"

"I'm actually on a date," he says semi-awkwardly, it was then that I saw the girl standing a few feet behind him.

He quickly turns around and gestures to her, beckoning her to come over "This is my girlfriend, Gabriela,"

She was gorgeous, she had naturally darker tanned skin with bright hazel eyes and dark brown almost black hair that was bluntly cut at her shoulders. She had a sweet and genuine smile too that could make anyone feel instantly comfortable.

"Hi," she smiles

"This is my ex girlfriend, Bailey-Belle," he explains further to her. A look of confusion crosses her face but the both of us instantly start shaking our heads "Oh no, we don't hate each other, our relationship just wasn't the healthiest. She's in love with her best friend and I was bored,"

"Basically," I grin "This is the best friend and my boyfriend Caleb," I grin introducing Caleb to her, he just grins and lightly shakes her hand

"Nice to meet you guys," she says with a bright smile

"You too," I can't help but laugh "So you're educating him on what some good music is?"

"Oh yeah, he's getting better but there's still a long way to go,"

"As long as he knows what's Jessie's girl is, then he's making progress," we both start to laugh at this until she realizes I was being dead serious.

"Wait he didn't-Dallas you didn't know what Jessies girl was?!"

"Really? You had to tell her?" He stops talking to Co for a second to turn to us.

"Dude if she didn't, I was going to," Co smirks

"I'm not even from this country and I know Jessies girl by heart!" She hits his shoulder

"Yeah I know you're more cultured than I am, can we get some food now?" He grins at her with a look of pure admiration, she looks the same. We never had that, but I'm unbelievably happy that he found it.

"We were actually going to get some funnel cakes, you guys wanna join us?" Caleb questions, wrapping his arm around me. I loved the small gestures, he could still give me butterflies.

"YES!" Gabriela grins before turning to Dallas "If you're okay with that, obviously,"

"More than okay," Dallas just nods "Funnel cakes sound amazing right now,"

"Let's go then!" I clap my hands and the four of us start walking. Gabriela and I walking slightly in front of the guys as they started talking about everything.

"So, you mentioned earlier you weren't from here, if you don't mind me asking where are you from?" I question after a moment of comfortable silence

"Oh no I don't mind at all! I'm originally from Cuba, but my family immigrated here to Florida when I was two, and then we moved around here to be closer to my moms family when I was five," she smiles "Are you from around here?"

"Born and raised," I grin "Lived in the same house with my dad and six brothers my whole life,"

"Oh so you get the big family struggle?" We can't help but laugh as I nod my head "Me too, I have three other siblings my abuela and one of my cousins plus my ma and dad living in one house,"

"Oh so you definitely know crazy," I grin

"Without a doubt," she laughs "My abuela is just as wild as my twenty year old sister is, I know more about her sex life than I do my best friends,"

"Oh god," I can't help but laugh, thats something I'd never want not need to know in my lifetime.

"Yeah, the woman has no filter at all,"

"I not even know her and I aspire to be her," I snort, she sounds like an amazing woman.

"Me too," she nods just as we stop in the line at the funnel cake truck.

I don't even have to glance behind be to know Co's there as he places his hand on my hip and kisses the top of my head.

"It's weird to see you guys finally like this," Dallas chimes from his place next to Gabriela before turning to look at her "I knew he liked her a week after her and I started dating,"

"No you did not." I deadpan and he just laughs

"Yeah I did, it's not like he hid it all that much,"

"I really didn't," Co grins down at me "You're just oblivious,"

"Whatever," I roll my eyes at them with a grin on my face before looking back at Dallas and Gabriela "So how long have you guys been together?"

"Early February," Gabriela smiles

"She asked me out,"

"Damn look at you go," I grin giving her a high five

"Yeah, thought he was cute, once I discovered he barely knew any good music I was already in too deep," she shrugs, obviously teasing Dallas who just rolls his eyes at her

"Here we go again," he huffs just as we all step up to order our funnel cakes, after waiting a minute, we pick em' up and start walking to the hill to find a spot

"You guys are really cute," Gabriela chimes after witnessing a typical argument between Co and I. He says one thing, I say another, we insult each other, he says I'm right to get me to shut up and I win. Typical.

"You guys are too," I nod to Dallas "He's really happy with you,"

"You think?"

"Without a doubt,"

"Good," she smiles and I can't help match it

"Girls you wanna sit down? They're gonna start soon," Dallas questions

"Yep! We're comin!" Gabriela chimes, as she takes her seat beside Dallas and I take mine besides Co. tonight was going to be fun and any thoughts of my brothers are irrelevant.
