"Jordan I have a situation" I say instantly as he picks up his phone

"Uh oh, need me to come over"

"Yes, yes very very much yes" I state again, still freaked out "see you in a few"

The events of Christmas night were still running in my mind. It's been three days. December 28th. And I still hadn't talked to him. I'm freaking out and I have absolutely no idea what to do.

"Belle! Jordan's here!" My dad yells, minutes after I had hung up with Jordan

"Upstairs!" I yell back down

"Okay what did you do?" Jordan questions as soon as he enters my room

So I tell him everything that happened. I told him about Caleb's flirty talk in the garage, and me asking if he was drunk and him doing his adorable little sobriety test. I told him how he got really close and I challenged him and how he held my waist and how much I liked it and how we almost kissed and then what I'd said afterwards.

"Holy shit it took you three days to tell me this?!" He says excitedly standing up "It's finally happening!"

"No Jordan, nothing is happening, nothing can happen. Did you not hear the part of how we jumped away as soon as we heard Becks voice?"

"And? Don't do that next time, simple as that, who fuckin cares if your brothers find out?" Jordan scoffs "I love them, I really do but they're being unfair as hell. Becks literally dating your best friend for fucks sake. You deserve to be happy too" he tells me

"You really aren't being helpful, you're supposed to tell me this is all a bad idea and that I shouldn't like him"

"No I'm not, I'm supposed to tell you what I feel is right for you and will make you happiest in the end and being with Caleb will" Jordan states "You know he feels the same way so go for it, fuck what your brothers say."

"I can't just do that Jordan" I huff

"Yes you can. Belle, since I've known you, you've done everything for your brothers. You put what you want behind your brothers wants. Do you remember how beyond happy I was when I learned you were going to Chicago? That was because you finally did something for yourself and your own happiness. What was the first thing you did after your mom came here? You went straight to your brothers to make sure they were okay. Hell you didn't even let yourself cry in front of them. You will do anything for them, and I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but I am saying that you need to do something for yourself. Your brothers are all happy, Colton has his little thing with Lenny, Zach is fuckin married, Ryan...well Ryan has Lance and Lacey too I guess; Arrex is, well he's Arrex; Ace has Brett, and Beck has one of your best friends. You deserve to have something too" Jordan rants. He wasn't wrong either

I did deserve happiness, I wanted to be with Caleb and I shouldn't have to stop myself from doing anything about it just because of my brothers.

"You're right" I sigh

"Bitch I know I am, you don't gotta tell me" he grins "If anything, don't tell your brothers at first, obviously don't let it stretch out so long cause then it'll look like you're sneaking around but you guys have a right to some privacy, something I know you get very little of around here" he grins now, standing up, "Now that we have established that you like Caleb and you want to be with him, let's go get food because convincing your stubborn ass all that was a lot of work"

"I'm always down for food" I smirk "Wanna go to Kane's?"

And at the simply mention of the name, Jordan's face turns as red as my grandmothers tacky lipstick.

"What did you do?" My eyes going wide as I sit back down on my bed

"So-Uh I-well-technically I-it's complicated" he started to stutter over himself

"Spit it out"

"Lexi kissed me"

"WHAT"

After finally dragging Jordan's ass to Kane's, I force him into our usual booth and make him tell me everything that happened between Lexi and him. Thankfully Lexi wasn't working today like he thought she was.

"It was at work the other day, it was like an hour before closing the day after Christmas so no one was here and we were just cleaning up. She wasn't having a good day, something about her parents not being home for Christmas, and she was really upset so I made her some food, we kinda just started talking about anything and everything and we were laughing and I was about to just go for it and kiss her but she beat me to it and I kissed her back. But afterwards we were just smiling at each other, and then she glanced at her phone before looking back at me, and then it was like horror washed over her and she just ran and left. I tried calling her but she hasn't answered any of my calls" he said shrugging with a frown on his face

"Aww!! That's adorable!" It was cute that he'd actually like one singular girl, he'd never really done that before. Jordan was the type of guy to never really stick with one girl, now he wasn't a cheater, he would never, but he just never had a relationship. Anyone who got involved with him, knew that they were not getting involved in a relationship it was strictly fun, he made that every clear as to not hurt anyone.

"Wait so you're really okay with Lexi and everything?"

"Yeah her and I are good now" I nod, reassuring him of mine and Lexis new civilness.

"Even after she was how she was towards you?"

"Yeah. Everyone has shit going on, she isn't an exception, people just handle it differently. She handled it by being a bitch. Although it's no excuse, she did apologize profusely as we both sat on the floor in the schools bathroom and cried"

"Oh thank god, I've been wanting to kiss her again and then that happened and now I don't know what to do" he starts rambling befo with cut him off once again, my mind stuck on the word again.

"Again? What do you mean again? This ain't the first time?" I question, my eyes wide

"Uh-yeah so remember the whole 'reading and shit'? So uh yeah I was in fav not reading and shit" he says uneasily

"I knew it!" I yell at him "aww this is so cute!"

"I hate you"

"You gotta talk to her!"

"She won't answer my texts or calls"

"Wait till she comes in to work" I shrug "maybe she's just busy"

"Yeah coincidentally right after we kiss" he states sarcastically "She probably doesn't even feel the same way."

"I haven't talked to Caleb since everything that happened Christmas. Does that mean I don't like him the way I do?"

"No" he mumbles as I simply smirk

"Exactly, she's probably freaking out just as much as you are" I shrug "you'll be okay"

"We both will" he holds his hand out to me "it feels like I haven't talked to you in months"

"I know, I missed my best friend" I smile with tears in my eyes. Jordan and Em were my number ones and they always will. Jordan was my rock, I loved him with my whole heart. I don't know if I ever really told him that.

"Me too, wanna go annoy your dad?"he grins wiping one of my tears away as I laugh

"Uh I'm always down for that, let's go"
