I hear a light tapping. It was still dark out, so I knew I hadn't been asleep very long. It was coming from my balcony door.

I ignored it for the first minute but after another minute goes by, I finally decided to get up.

I slowly creep over to my balcony door with my automatic pocket knife in hand just in case, I always had something with me. Once I reach the door though I immediately drop in back into my sweatpants pocket when I see it's just Caleb .

"What are you doing here?" I question as I join him out on the balcony. My dad didn't want people coming up here without him knowing...especially if that person was a guy regardless if it's only Caleb.

"You aren't fine" he says looking down at me with a serious face

"Caleb I'm fine," I tell him, almost believing myself it was true

"Dude I know you, you aren't fine" He says, gently putting his hands on my shoulders and he looks over my face before meeting my eyes

"Caleb just go back with my brothers, they'd kill you if they knew you were up here" Caleb would come up here all the time but at this point I was just trying to make up excuses. To be honest though, if they knew he'd been coming up here I don't think they'd be very happy.

"No they wouldn't, I came up here almost every night before you left and they never said anything," he says, revealing a small grin

"That's because they never caught you" I mumble before looking up at him

"Then they won't catch me this time either" the boyish grin is now full on his face, making the corners of my lips quirk up

"Why did you come up here?" I question tiredly

"Like I said, you aren't okay, so I got ice cream" he grins holding up a cup of my favorite ice cream

I mirror his grin slightly and take it from him

"thank you" I say quietly

"What was that?" He jokes as he sits down

"Oh shut up you heard me" I say making him laugh "but thank you"

"No problem, anything for my favorite pain in the ass" he chuckles lightly

"hey! I am not a pain the ass"

"Yeah you are"

"Yeah I am" I huff as a smile makes its way onto my face

"So what's up?" He questions

"What do you mean?" I join him on the floor of my balcony

"Why were you crying?"

"I wasn't"

"Your eyes are puffy and they're dark brown, you were crying" He points to my cheeks as I try to hide my face

I didn't want him to know I was crying.

"How the hell could you tell my eyes were dark brown" I joke trying to lighten the mood

"I pay attention" he shrugs "now back to my question"

"Fine, I just miss them and I'm worried"

"Thats what I thought"

"I know I'm overreacting"

"No you aren't, it's reasonable, other than Em and Beck, Ryan was your best friend, he's the only other one besides me who knew about the shit with your mom and he and Zach

practically raised you. Lance is just as much your brother as Ryan was"

"Yeah, it's just hard, I went from seeing them and talking to them every day to barely 20 minutes every four months"

"I get it, Ryan was the big brother I was always able to talk to, I had Zach and I had Austin but they were already out of the house by the time I started to get real problems" he lightly chuckles

It was true by the time we were in middle school zach and Austin were already gone and out of the house.

"I wish things were like how they used to be" I sigh, slinking down on my back so I was now looking up at the stars.

They were pretty tonight, for the first time in a whole I really looked and I could actually see them. In Chicago there were no stars for miles, but here all were on display.

"What me tormenting you? I guess that was kinda fun" I hear him snort beside me

"Not that you ass" I grin "I got so much shit because of you guys by the way"

"Really?"

"All the time, its partially the reason why I have no girl friends, they just used me to get to either you, my brothers or the other three or they were just straight up bitchy to me"

"princess I never-" he starts to say, I could hear the sympathy in his voice

"none of you did, it was the one thing I never told you, don't feel bad" I chuckle, it really

Wasn't that big of a deal to me

"So why would you want to go back to that?"

"Not that, just everything else. Everyone was here, and we didn't have to worry about our futures" I shrug, back then we were just having fun, now we're going to be starting our lives and it's terrifying.

"That is true, but no matter where we are we'll always have here, this place is our home" he rests his hand on top of mine as starts absentmindedly tracing circles on my palm.

"I guess" I say though a yawn

We were both quiet as we layed there, just staring into space until Caleb got up

"C'mon, you're tired" he says holding a hand out to me

"No it's okay I'm going to hang out here a little longer"

"You sure?" He quirks a brow, looking down at me. We acted like we hated eachother, and we actually do sometimes, but when it comes down to it, we do care about eachother.

"Positive, go back to bed, you seem tired" I tell him

"Okay" he smiles "night princess"

"Night coco" I smirk

"Every damn time" he shakes his head before climbing down from the balcony

"Hey Caleb ?" I say in a whisper yell, hoping he'd hear me

"What's up?"

"Thanks"

"No problem Princess"

I laid out on my balcony for the rest of that night, well at least until the sun rose.

I've been home for two weeks, and finally things have been going back to normal.

"Belle wake up its noon" Beck says, throwing a pillow at my face

"Shut up" I turn away from him and close my eyes tighter, hoping to fall back asleep

"Belle seriously, come on" Ace joins joins him

"Fine" I grunt before getting up and stomping downstairs.

"Morning princess" Caleb grinned before throwing a pancake at my face, though before it can hit me I effortlessly catch it.

"Thanks asshole, jokes on you I wanted pancakes" I state matter of factly before stuffing the pancake into my mouth. It was probably disgusting to watch, but I considered it a talent to eat a whole pancake in one bite.

"Such a fuckin lady" he grins

"You fuckin KNOW it" I say with my full mouth making everyone laugh

"I'll get it" Colton goes to get up when the knock of the front door sounds through the house

"Where is she?!" I hear the familiar voice of one of the girls who was basically my little sister.

"wait Belle hide!" Caleb says quietly

My eyes go wide as I run behind him, I couldn't think fast enough to find any other place

"Nice hiding spot" he scoffs

"Shut up there aren't any other spots nearby"

"Caleb move! You can't just keep her all to yourself" the second girl whines

Caleb just laughs and moves to the side to reveal me. I am faced with the smiling faces of Caleb's little sister and niece, Arya and Bexley. I missed these girls so much, they were basically my little sister's and I treated them as such. My family was extremely close with Caleb's. Our parents have been best friends since they were in highschool, and we all grew up together. Caleb's older brother, Austin, is best friends with my older brother Zach and it just carried on from there througout our families.

"Hey girls!" I smile holding my arms out as they run into them "How are my sisters doin?" I ask them

"I beat all of the guys in football!" Bexley says excitedly "I even tackled one and he started crying"

"That's my girl" Caleb grins picking up his niece

Colton walks in behind them with Kay, Caleb's mom beside him

"Hey babygirl!" Kay yells as she engulfs me in a hug

"Hey Kay" I smile happily at the woman in front of me

"So how are y'all? How was Fort Worth?"I ask them as we all sit down around the kitchen

"It was fun, I got to see my friends down there" Arya nods "I'm happy you're back, I missed my other big sister"

"oh and Belle!" Bexley says hitting the table

"What's up?"

"There was a cute guy"

"Oh?" I smirk at Arya

"Yeah he was hanging out with Arya and the rest of her friends, she always smiled at him" Bexley adds making Aryas hand fly to her face, Colton just smirks at his best friend as he cheeks go red.

At the comment Caleb immediately perks up and stares at his barely sixteen year old sister for answer.

"Bex I'm going to kill you" Arya groans

"Try me" the nine year old smirks at she sticks her tongue out at Arya

She looked like a little girl version of Caleb when she did this, it was insane. It made sense though, Brandon and Caleb looked so much alike it was crazy.

"So about this guy? On a scale of like Tom Holland Cute to like Colton Haynes hot?"

"Oh better than Colton Haynes" the youngest Kazer says while modding her head

Calebs eyes immediately snap to Bexley who's just smiling cheekily at him

"What happened to you?! You were the good one!" Caleb whines "and you! No guys ever! I'll kick all of their asses"

"Caleb sit down, let her live her life" I order

"Thanks you!" Arya laughs "besides he was just a guy who I'm probably never going to see again" she shrugs

"Exactly" I agree with her as I take a thing of bacon off of Aces plate

"Hey Ary, I was just about to leave to meet the guys at the lake, wanna come?" Colton smile at her.

They had also been best friends since birth. Out of their whole friend group, the two were the most competitive with each other. To them, everything was a competition.

"Yeah sure! Can we pick up Lenny?"

"Cody already picked her up," Colton grins

"Oh okay, let's go!" She smiles as she joins my

younger brother "Bye Belle!"

"Bye Arya"

"Yay now it's just me" Bexley cheers

"So Bails how was Chicago?" Kay asks

"It was great, the program was absoloutely amazing although I didn't get out very much because of it" I chuckle, it was true, I really didn't get out much, I constantly had things to do pertaining to the program.

"That's still amazing, I hope to be just like you when in get older Belle" Bexley smiles making my heart melt

"With how smart you are, I wouldn't be surprised" I grin, lightly piking her nose

"No but she's right Belle, thats amazing," Kay smiles

"Well thank you" I say honestly, it felt weird talking about this and being applauded for this, it was just a law program, lots of highschool kids were in it.

"Okay satan, how about we go play call of duty?" Arrex asks Bexley as she quite literally climbs up his arm

"Yes! I will kick your asses"

"Bex!" Kay scolds "no swearing"

"Sorry" she says as we all giggle behind her

I see Caleb give her a high five behind his mom's back before Ace, Arrex, Beck and him all dissapear downstairs to play video games

"So meet any friends in Chicago?"

"Yeah I met a lot of people, most of which were all stuck up and bitchy, but there are a few who were genuinely good people. There was a small group of us but my two best friends there were these two girls Ashley and Sage, they both live in Chicago"

"Oh girls? You have girl friends?" Kay perks up making me laugh

"Yes I am capable of making girl friends" I snort in response to her suprise

"Will I get to meet them?" She questions

"Most likely yeah, they said they'd love to come down"

"So what about other friends? Any boys?" She smirks

"Oh my god Kay" I roll my eyes with a grin

"What! Bexley isn't interested it guys yet and Arya doesn't say shit to me!" She reasons making me laugh "and I don't even wanna know what that boy up there's doing with his love life"

"Fine yes there was one guy, but I broke it off, he was too clingy and I just wanted to do my own thing."

"You never were one for clingy"

"Oh never" I grin

It was true, I was way too carefree, I wanted to live my life and go on adventures, nothing was going to hold me back from that. If I was in a relationship, great, you can come with me on my adventures and I'll go with you on yours but I'm not going to be held back because of a significant other.

"So how do you like being back?"

"I love it, I missed everyone here you know? This place is and forever will be my home."

"Everyone here missed you, they missed the smiley girl of Luxton" she says with chuckle

"You're the other half of the sunshine sisters, as Caleb liked to put it"

"I totally forgot about that" I groan, slinking back into my chair.

Caleb came up with that nickname for Em and I long time ago, I'm always super positive and happy and totally carefree, Em and I always have smiles on our faces so Caleb called us the sunshine sisters. As we all got olde though, and into Greys anatomy, he started calling us the twisted sisters.

"That one you seemed to get rid of but you'll never get rid of princess" Kay laugh "it could be forty years from now and he will still be calling you princess"

"I know" I groan again "I hate it"

"Always have. Do you even know how that nickname came about?"

"No he refuses to tell me!" I exclaim "he calls me it but resumes to tell me the nickname behind it"

Kay just smirks and nods "you'll have to ask again"

"Yeah"

"HOW DID SHE BEAT ME?!" We hear Ace yell

Bexley kicked his ass once again.

Kay and I both laugh as we get up and walk down to the basement

"Belle! I kicked his ass!"

"Bex! One more and you're grounded!" Kay yells at her

"Sorry gramma"

"Yeah you will be if I hear one more word LIKE that"

"Yes ma'am" she says pouting

"She beat me!" Ace whines

"Ace you kinda suck at this game" Caleb laughs at his best friends childish ways "Even max beat you and shes never played" he says referring to my niece Max.

Max was the same age as Bexley and they were actually best friends. The two of them have been best friends with Jordans little sister, Julia, since birth like Emma and I. With them, is my Nephew and Max's older brother Sebastian, who is ten. Those three together are like the three stooges, always getting into trouble. Then you add Derek and Sam, Calebs older brothers boys, to the mix and it's just trouble all around.

"okay Bex, let's leave the big kids to have they fun"

"Thays not fair! I'm more mature than Caleb!" Bexley whines is response

"Shes not wrong" I snort as Caleb glares at me

"Bex no,let go"

"But gram !"

Just as Kay was about to respond I cut in

"No really Kay, if it's fine with you, I'm going over to Em's, if you want I can bring Bex with"

"Yeah! Can I go pleeeaaasssee"

"Fine, But be good I get one bad report from Belle and you're in deep trouble you hear?"

"Yes ma'am!" Bex shakes her head vigorously before running over to me

"Okay just gimme a minute, I have to shower and change really quick and then we can go" I tell her before going upstairs to take my shower.
