"Oh Really~?"
Mire looked at you with pleading eyes.
"No"
"You're teasing me huh~?" He grinned and you walked out the store.
"Wait up!" He laughed.
...
It was getting late and you decided you should leave after getting cotton candy.
"Ah Y/n.. you have some on your face.." Mire reached out to wipe your mouth.
"I'll get i-
He grabbed your face roughy and licked the candy from the side of your lips.
"Got it~"
You blushed and covered your face.
"Darling.. there's one more place I wanted us to go"
Mire gently took your hand in his and walked over to a flower shop.
He bought you a bouquet of roses. "They're so beautiful next to your soft skin"
"Thank you Mire.."
"Anything for you~"
You both walked out the store to the exit but then your heart dropped.
You saw your bestfriend and her boyfriend, Ty.
You looked at Mire who was already looking down at you.
He had notice them before you did.
She spotted you and they both came running towards y'all.
Mire bent over and whispered in your ear, "Be a good girl~"
"Y/n!! girl where the hell have you been?!" She wrapped you in a hug.
"Long time no see Y/n!" Ty gave you a hug and smiled, "Wheres that necklace I gave you girl??"
Damn you Ty..
"Who is this?"
She looked at Mire with a spark of interest.
"M-My boyfriend"
"You have a boyfriend??" Both her and Ty said in unison.
You looked at Mire whos hand was wrapped tightly around the roses.
"Yes, she's mine"
"No way! Why didn't you tell me you scored such a hunk!!"
You laughed with her but could feel Mires stare on you.
"We have to go.." You started.

"What so early???" Ty wrapped his arm around you, making you flinch.
"Hey what's your problem?"
Ty suddenly said drawing your attention. Mire had gripped his shoulder.
"She said we have to go" You could tell his calm voice was a facade.
Ty looked dumbfounded but let you go.
"I'll see you later! Call me!" Your bestfriend said as you two walked off.
Mire put the shopping bags in the trunk and the ride back was silent.
The car came to a stop but it wasn't at his house.
It was in an empty parking lot surround by trees with a trail.
"Let's go on a walk.. "
"It's fixing to be night. The suns setting you know."
"Y/n.." Was all he replied.
You got out the car and followed him down the trail.
"Mire why aren't we going home?"
He didn't say anything.
"Now I'm in a piss ass mood" He lit a cigarette and started smoking it.
You waited patiently for him to get done.
He threw the bud down and pulled out a knife. You gulped but you weren't afraid.
"Cmere.."
You came closer and he wrapped his hand round your neck. His long fingers gripping your smooth skin gently.
Mire kissed your collarbone and trailed the knife down your spine.
"I bought you a new necklace~"
Mire pulled a black case out his pocket and opened it.
It was a beautiful gold necklace with two layers. It had a single rose and red heart charm on it, made of red ruby.
"It's beautiful.. but it looks-
"Expensive?" He cut you off.
Mire took the necklace and put it on you.
It hung just above your collarbone.
"Of course my hand looks better~" He smirked.
The sun had set and you both walked back to the trail. You couldn't tell what he was thinking.. It made you anxious.

...
You finally got to the house.
"Go upstairs, I have a surprise for you" He said bring in the shopping bags.
You sat on the bed which seemed like forever.
Mire never came up.
You ended up falling asleep and when you woke up , you saw the time was 4 am.
"Why.. where is he?"
You opened the door hesitantly.
You were scared to leave the room but curiosity got the better of you.
As you walked out and down the stairs you see the basement door was open.
It was way too dark to see so you grabbed the flashlight Mire had gave you yesterday.
As you walked closer to the door you began to shake.
"Mire..?" You quietly said down to no answer.
You took a step down and there was a wet substance on the bottom of your feet. You went down more steps and as you were nearing the bottom you slipped.
The flashlight fell out your hands and across the room.
Your hands and knees landed in the warm substance and you immediately went for the flashlight.
You flashed it at your hands and they were painted red.
Blood.
"W-What?!"
The basement light bulb came on which revealed a horrific sight.
"Oh hi darling

Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction. A Nerd's Wet Dream Come True (Tossing an OC into Marvel)
John was an average man. At least that's what he tells himself at night. He lived in a rented apartment in the decent district, a well-paying job, and more student debt than he cared to think about being steadily paid off. Yet he was absolutely miserable. He spent his days living like a zombie, a slave in all but name to corporate. His only joy these days it seems was reading comics and writing fanfics. SI ones. Choke full of power fantasies and large harems. Yeah, even he had to admit he was a loser. His only redeeming feature seemed to be his photographic memory and the library's worth of comics and books he has read. Yet, when fate took pity on him and had John transported into the Marvel Universe, he was only all too happy to oblige. A second chance to make something of himself. Is he going to finally have the comfortable life he wanted? Will he laze away relying on his past life's knowledge or does he want more this time? Will his ambition and hard work lead to sweet fruits, or will it rot away in the darkness hiding beneath the colorful costumes of the hero's society? Now with crossovers! Be warned if you don't like to see OCs messing up the timeline or DC and other stuff showing up. I swear I'm not randomly adding stuff and there is a legitimate (as far as comic books and fanfics can be) plot reason why. (I'll be honest, I don't know "cannon" marvel really... I watched some movies and animated series as a kid, but I haven't picked up a comic in years. This is just some light-hearted and casual writing for fun. If there are any errors or something you think would be cool please let me know.) I'm also trying to have multiple main characters so that might be jarring for some people while I switch perspective. Sorry in advance, I'm new at this and idk what I'm doing, advice and feedback gladly welcomed!
