I crouched down taking both of my shoelaces in my hands tying them together. I tugged on them one more time before getting up, slinging my backpack on my shoulder and started to walk down the hallway.

I entered the room feeling the tension, sadness and pain among us as everyone looked at me and stayed quiet. I mumbled 'good morning' getting one response and that was from Hershel. We had lost so much in just one night, it all happened in a flash of light.

Everyone was tired. Hell i wouldn't be suprised. The baby was crying all night and had kept us all up, we were all worried about how Rick and Carl were holding up with the loss of Lori.

''Hey bud, you okay?'' I asked as i planted a kiss on Carl's cheek. He nodded making me squeeze his shoulder before taking a seat next to Daryl.

He handed me his bowl of oatmeal making me shake my head ''Take it, you haven't eaten a thing since yesterday''

I sighed taking it from him with my small hands knowing i wouldn't win an argument with him.

''Everybody okay?'' Rick's voiced echoed throughout the room making us look up.

''We are'' Maggie answered making me put the bowl down .

''What about you?'' Hershel questioned after a few moments of silence.

''Cleared out the boiler block'' He said ignoring Hershel's question.

''How many where there?'' Daryl snacked his arm around my waist. 

''I don't know, dozen or two dozen. I have to go back just wanted to check on Carl'' He patted Carl's back before starting to walking towards us.

''We can handle taking out the walkers you don't have to'' I said offering help.

''I do'' He declined making me sigh.

''Everyone has a gun and knife?'' He asked both Daryl and I.

''We're low on ammo after what happened yesterday''

''Maggie and i were planning on making a run this afternoon'' 

''We cleared the generator room, trying to fix it. Just in case of an emergency''

''Good, good'' He mumbled before walking away in a hurry.

''Rick'' Hershel called but he just kept on walking slamming the metal door shut.

I laid on the grass looking up to the clouds, cloud gazing. Daryl, Carl and Oscar went off probably clearing out some blocks, i don't really have an idea. Hershel went to check on Rick and make sure he was okay (don't really want him doing anything stupid) Glenn and Maggie went on a run and Beth is inside with the baby.

I just wanted to get away from all of the emotions and have time to actually breathe. I looked up to the sky, fiddling with my necklace and smiled. Jacob. 

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath ''Jacob'' My mind whispered as i continued to fiddle with my necklace. I felt my chest tighten as his name repeated in my mind, it felt as if he was here. He was close, so close but so far away. I shifted uncomfortably shaking my head as his image popped up. ''Stop, leave me alone'' I whispered.

His face popped up showing his amazing eyes, and his beautifully missed face. ''Jacob'' His name continued to repeat in my mind as my chest started to tighten even more. My breathing started to shorten as his name continued to repeat over and over again.

''He's here'' My mind whispered making me jump up and gasp for a long deep breath, my head throbbing as the only thing that could leave my mouth was ''Daryl'' I needed him.

I heard footsteps making me take out my gun as fast as possible and aim it but put it down slowly smiling at the scene in front of me. Rick holding his daughter for the first time. I smiled at him trying my best to ignore what happened moments ago. He smiled back but soon his face changed as he looked past me. I furrowed my eyebrows as my eyes followed him, then i looked at what he was staring at. A women with a red basket staring back at him.

I ran towards the gate with Carl by my side as i saw the women grip on the side of her leg and whimper in pain. Soon the walkers started to notice her smell as they growled now paying attention to her.

She took out her katana and stabbed the walker in his head.

''Should we help her?'' Carl asked as she started to limp. She fought off the walkers bravely but soon collapsed and the walkers started to crowd over her. With no hesitation, i took out my gun killing the two walkers that we're close to eating her guts out.

Carl threw his dad the keys making him open the gate. The three of us exited out and started to fire at the remaining walkers. 

''Is she bite?'' I asked Rick as he checked for any walker bites.

''Gun shot'' He replied and carried her over his shoulder, i waited for Carl to grab the basket before closing the gate and running back to the others.

''Carl get a blanket, Annora water and a towel'' Rick ordered as i ran back and grabbed what he needed.

''Here'' I handed both of the iteams to Rick as he layed her down spilling water over her. She started to stir and breath heavily, shaking.

''Hey its alright, look at me. Who are you?'' He spoke trying to calm her down. She went to grab her katana but Rick moved it away and pinned her down.

''We're not going to hurt you unless you do something stupid first, alright?'' He told her making her breath heavily.

''Rick'' A southern accent called, Daryl. ''Who the hell is this?''

''You want to tell us your name?'' He whispered repeating his question two times.

''You need to come in here'' Daryl said looking at us.

''Everything alright?'' Rick worridly asked.

''You might want to see this''

We all followed Daryl as he lead us to a cell block, we all stood there as the person who was laying on the bed sat up. I froze as she laughed and pulled Rick in a hug ''Are you fucking kidding me'' I cussed under my breath. The last person i expected to see, Carol. 

I looked up as i saw someone staring at me making me freeze and made my heart skip a beat. Jacob. He was staring at me.

''Annora'' That deep southern voice that sends chills down my body called making me look at him. He grabbed my hand pulling me inside our cell block.

''Are you alright? Your face is bright red'' He asked clearly concerned. I looked around the room my eye tearing up as i saw him standing in the corner. Jacob.

''Annora'' 

Jacob's name started to ring again in my mind my heart beating face as i felt like i was going to faint in any moment. I gripped on Daryl's shirt shoving my face in his chest, trying to get Jacob's name out of my mind. This was too much, i was going to explode. I couldn't lie to him anymore.

''I need to tell you something'' I mumbled staring into his eyes feeling my chest get heavier each time i take a breath in.

He rubbed my arm, letting his hand fall to mind ''Tell me''

''Daryl i'' I mumbled taking a deep breath looking down at my feet before looking up.

''I'm glad Carol's back'' I stuttered, each word filled with lies. He smiled pulling me in for a hug running his hands down my back. I sighed resting my head on his shoulder wrapping my small hands around his waist slowly getting my breathing back.

Can things get any worse than this?
