《BEST FRIEND'S BROTHER || RM》19

After class ended, I went to meet up with Hayden. I was very hesitant to do this, but I knew I needed to. I couldn't avoid this forever.
"Want to talk in the cafeteria?" Hayden asks as he meets up with me. "Yeah, that sounds good." I say as the two of us make our way in that direction.
Upon getting inside we take a seat at one of the further tables as the cafeteria begins to fill with the loud students. From across the cafeteria, I could see Namjoon seated with his friends, but he seemed to be glancing right over at Hayden and I.
"Where do we start?" I ask as I sit down and turn to face Hayden. He took in a breath before he spoke.
"I just don't want things to be awkward between us. I like you but since you don't like me back, I'll just have to accept that. I still want to be friends. I just hope you want that too." Hayden says with sad eyes.
"Of course I want to be friends still. I'm sorry things had to happen this way." I say and Hayden shakes his head.
"No, It's okay. There's not very much that I can do about it now. Besides, you like someone else, I'm not horrible, I understand. I'm just glad you still want to be friends." Hayden smiles.
"Of course." I say as I smile too. Hayden leans forward and pulls me into a hug. I hug him back, wanting to comfort him as much as I possibly could.
"I'll see you later then?" Hayden says as he goes to stand. I nod and watch as he walks away from me. Once Hayden is out of sight I turn to look over at Namjoon's table where, to my surprise, I see Brittany.

Of course she was doing what she was always doing aka being all over Namjoon. I felt angry and jealous as I watched her messing with his hair. Luckily, Namjoon was attempting to push her away.
Not wanting to see anymore, I turn my head down to the table and pull out my phone where I see a text from Leah.
Groaning, I set my phone down and bury my head in my arms. It was always something and the last thing I wanted right now was go to some stupid party that I knew Brittany would be at.
Knowing Leah though, there was no way I was getting out of this. I would just have to be dragged along and suffer the whole time.
That's really all I could do...
------
That's exactly what happened. I stood near the doorway as my eyes scanned the room full of kids from our school and people I've never even seen in my life.
I never went to parties and I hadn't ever planned to but here I was.
"Come on, Let's find Ki-Hyun." Leah says as she grabs my hand, pulling me through the large sweaty crowd of people.
After what felt like forever of searching, we finally found him standing at the island in the kitchen drinking something out of a red solo cup.
"Hey babe." Leah grins as she moves over to him, instantly attaching her lips to his. I averted my eyes, not caring to see that.
As they got lost in conversation, Leah completely forgetting I was there, I decided to wander off on my own.
I barely recognized half the people around me and the only thought I had was to find Namjoon. At this point he could be anywhere and I didn't even know where to start.

I walked through pretty much the whole house before I finally spotted Namjoon. Of course, he was seated with all of his douchebag friends and go figure, Brittany.
I gritted my teeth as I kept my distance from them, not wanting to draw attention to myself. The last thing I wanted was for Brittany and her awful friends to put their focus on me.
"Hey cutie, how are you doing?" A sudden voice comes up behind me before a big pair of hands snake around my waist.
I turned around quickly only to come face to face with a guy I had never seen before. "Please don't touch me." I say as I try move out of his grasp but fail.
"Don't be like that, baby. Let's just have some fun." The guy says as he pulls me into his waist, his hips thrusting into mine.
"I said don't touch me!" I shout, catching the attention of the people around us and unfortunately, Namjoon and his group.
Instantly, Namjoon's eyes flew to mine but he didn't move, he stayed exactly where he was.
"Jeez, Y/n, prude much." Brittany says as she makes her way over to me, a huge smirk on her face.
From behind her I could see a couple of the guys laugh besides Namjoon who just sat there staring at me with a worried and almost scared look on his face.
I don't say anything as Brittany gets closer to me, her hand reaching out and touching my shoulder, ripping down my shirt. I grab ahold of the material before it could show anything.
"Lighten up, huh? We know you're a virgin but damn, maybe let him hit it and you'll feel better." I clench my jaw as people around us laugh, listening in to everything that was being said.
"Fuck you." I spit as I go to walk away only to have the same guy grab my arm, yanking me back. "Yeah, what she said. I could help you loosen up a bit." The guy says in my ear, a shiver of disgust running down my spine.
I could feel the tears brimming in my eyes as everyone just stood there and watched, including Namjoon.
Just when I thought something bad was going to happen, a single voice boomed through the crowd, catching mine and everyone else's attention.
"She said leave her alone, asshole!"
Standing there fuming, was Hayden.
