《BEST FRIEND'S BROTHER || RM》6

Sooner than I would have liked, Monday rolled around. I was hoping everyone had forgotten about what had happened in gym class but with my luck, they wouldn't.
There wasn't really anything I could do about it though, so I had no choice but to go to school anyway.
Luckily, I made it through most of the day without a problem but now it was time for gym class which meant, it was the ultimate moment of truth.
As I walked into the gymnasium, I kept my head down, not really wanting to draw attention to myself.
I changed into my gym clothes which consisted of an old baggy T-shirt and a pair of black biker shorts. I then pulled on my sneakers then made my way out to the floor.
So far so good. No one was mentioning what had happened. Sadly, my lip was still busted up so I wouldn't be surprised if someone saw and mentioned it.
As I'm making my way over to the bleachers to stretch, I hear someone clear their throat beside me. I looked up to see Namjoon standing over me, his tall presence making me feel even smaller.
"How are you feeling?" He asked as he stared down at me. I sat up straight, not wanting to continue stretching if he'd be watching me do so.
"Better." I say, a little confused as to why he cared. "Good good. Everyone was worried." He then says and I look at him, confused.
Everyone meaning who because I sure as hell didn't have any other friends.
Before I can even respond, another set of feet appear before me. "What are you doing Joonie?" I hear a very familiar screechy voice say.
I scrunch my nose is disgust as I look up to see Brittany just as she wraps her arm around Namjoon's. Just as I went to tear my eyes away, I saw Namjoon make a face at her that disappeared just as quickly as it came.

Trying to stifle a laugh I stand up, not wanting to be near the two of them. "How's your face feel?" Brittany's voice says mockingly, making my jaw clench.
"Fuck you." I say through gritted teeth as I walk away before my anger got the best of me. If I would have stayed it wouldn't have ended well. So as the bad bitch that I am, I simply walked away.
——
"What is your problem? You didn't even apologize." I say as I look over at Brittany who stayed clinging to my arm like a leech.
"Why should I apologize? She's a loser anyway." She laughs then leans over to whisper in my ear. "Now come play with me."
"You don't even know her. If you'd learn to be less of a bitch maybe you would get the chance." I say as I snatch my arm out of her grasp and walk away.
I hear Brittany scoff from behind me before she stomps away. Once she's gone my eyes scan the gym where they land on y/n who's seated on the mats stretching once again.
Her hair is pulled back into a ponytail that flipped sides as she moved to her stretch her other leg. My eyes trailed down from her face to her chest to her bare thighs.
There was no doubt about it, y/n was definitely hot. She had always been pretty and then as we got older, she got hotter. Not that I would ever say that out loud though.
I knew Leah would kill me if I ever even thought about making a move on y/n. After all she's nothing more than my sister's annoying little friend. Or at least that's how it should be.
That never stopped me from wondering about her though. I was curious as to why she seemed to get so tense around me, why she never fully looked me in the eyes when she spoke.

I had known her for most of my life thus far and yet I barely knew anything about her besides the basics. I knew that she hadn't had any boyfriends at all, ever. I knew she hadn't even kissed anyone, not that I knew of anyway.
I had gathered that information by overhearing Leah and her taking one day forever ago. Maybe that had changed since then but it didn't really matter.
Knowing those insignificant details meant nothing to me. Even though I never showed it, I wasn't that shallow. I actually enjoyed getting to know people on a deeper level.
I tore my eyes away from Y/n as I made my way over to my buddies. The guys were idiots but they were cool I guess.
"Staring at your sister's best friend, huh? Never would have expected you to go after her. She is hot though, I'd hit that."
My eyes shot over in the direction of who had said that, anger coursing through me. "Hey, watch it." I say without thinking.
He raises his eyebrow as he smirks slightly. "Problem? You don't like the girl do you?" He asks as he pushes his hand against my chest, knocking me back slightly.
I scoffed as I straightened myself up. Like the douchebag I pretended to be I said,
"No, I just have dibs on hitting it first."
——
When the day finally came to an end I was more then excited to go home.
Luckily, I had made it through the day without anyone else being a bother besides Brittany.
I was still angry about that. She was such a bitch for no reason other than to show off in front of Namjoon.
He should just get with her already so I don't have to deal with it. I was getting sick of her attitude and the next time, I was guaranteed to snap.
She was awful and there was only so much I could take but with the way Namjoon acted too, they'd be a match made in heaven.

Humans survive in this world by capturing and taming these creatures, using their magic for their own ends. Basically, he wakes up a pokemon. A very, very, weak, pokemon.
