Over the rooftops, a sniper named Doyle who overheard in the general execute Code Red he is surprised that there's an Outbreak happening. He quickly runs to his sniper position.
Doyle:*talks radio* Flynn come in. Did you hear the Code Red right?
Flynn: I was about to ask the same thing.
Meanwhile in the underground command center Stone enters as the soldier saluted him, he looks at the cams on multiples screens that are looking all over the green zone sees the power turned off.
The teens who are still in quarantine see the lights flickering, Don kids thinking it's only an electricity problem but Thoams knew that something is wrong.
Medical officer: *press the air com* Everything is fine. Don't worry I'll be back in a moment.
The officer left.
Tammy: I'm sure it's nothing.
Andy: He looks worried.
Tammy: He said he's going to be back in a moment.
Thomas: Something wrong.
The three teens waited for the officer to return and it was taking too long, soon Thomas knew something is really really wrong.
Thomas: O God tell me it's not what I think it is.
Tammy: What are you-
BANG
The door broke off its hinges, The same officer ran into the room. He has blood coming out of his mouth, his uniform is a bloody, and bloody bite mark on his neck. They soon realize that he is infected.
Tammy and Andy jump back while Thomas stands in front of them protecting them with a metal stool in both of his hands. The infected banging on the glass as hard as it can but fail to break, it angrily stares at the teen's growling, snarling. Then they hear bang blood splatted on the glass, the body slides down leaving a trail of blood and revealing Scarlet as their savior.
She runs to the door swiping her card unlocking the door, opens it checking the room with a handgun in hand.
Scarlet: Are you guys okay?
They nod yes, Thomas puts down the chair walk you to his mother.

Thomas: It's back isn't it?
Scarlet: Yes...*looks down* I'm sorry
Thomas knew something will happen and he told his mother he did not want to return, she brought him back anyway.
Scarlet: We got to go now!
The two-run towards scarlet and left the room, Thomas went to the dead infected soldier to check his body scarlet about asking what he's doing but soon answer her question when she sees the gun M18.
Scarlet: What are you doing?
Thomas: I'm defending myself.
Scarlet: You can't use that milita-
Thomas: Nobody cares at this monument. We have no time for arguing we need to get out of here or the infected kill us. Trust me they will come.
Scarlet wants to argue with him but she knows he's right, this not a time to be a mother right now.
Scarlet: Do you know how to-
Thomas pulls the clip out to see is full of ammo, then places it back in cocking it.
Thomas: Does that answer your question.
Scarlet: "You don't have to be rude about it" Alright let's move and stay close to me.
*Timeskip*
As the teens and Scarlet made their way through the building and they made it crowded civilians. Military directing civilians to the safe containment.
Scarlet: Guys stay with me keep holding my hands.
Tam/Andy: Okay.
Thomas: Alright.
As they pass through waves of people trying to make it to the front entrance but met with military guards.
Soldier: Sir, all civilians are directed into the containment area.
Scarlet: No, these kids are with me.
Soldier: Sir!
Scarlet: These kids are important, they need to be protected. I need to get them out of here!
Soldier: Sir, no exception this is a code red.
Scarlet: I know what it is. These kids are with me my name is-
As they were arguing Andy slipt out of her hands he is drag away from them.
Andy: Scarlet.Tam.Thomas!
Scarlet: Andy!
Tam: Andy!
Thomas: Andy!
Scarlet: Andy, stay where you are we're coming.

Thomas: I'll go after him.
Scarlet: No Tho-
Thomas: I'll go after him and look after him, don't worry about me.
Scarlet: *she thinks about before deciding* Alright please be careful.
Thomas: Don't worry about me, just look out for Tammy.
She let go of Thomas and disappear into the crowd.
*Thomas pov.*
As I push through the wave of people looking for Andy.
Me: ANDY!
I keep walking down the stairs for a while now until reaching the parking lot.
Soldier: Move down! Move Down the Room!
I enter the lot and theirs a lot of people who are scared and confuse. I made my way through the crowd then I see a black car. I climb the hood of a car standing up.
Me: ANDY!.......ANDY!
I keep yelling but it useless since he can't hear me through this freaken crowd, I keep looking figuring out where he would be that when I hear the doors closing. I realize that they lock us in that's so stupid decision ever of all time.
Me: This is not a safe house it's a ticking time bomb.
I see the people bang, hitting the doors but they fail to break through the door. I keep looking around then I notice the back is clear.
Me: That where you would be.
I jump down to make my way through the crowd to time for me finally reach the clear. sitting down is Andy.
Me: Andy!
Andy: Thomas!
Me: You Ok?
Andy: I'm just scared.
Me: I know you are but we need to get out of here.
Andy: Aren't we safe?
Me: No. We are not.
*Third pov.*
Meanwhile, the military shutting down all lights in the green zone. Soon the military turns on thier emergency lights and armed soldiers is running towards the med center. Doyle watches as the soldiers and snipers are getting into position. Doyle grunts as he knew it's going to go down.
In the safe area, the lights are turn off as the people start to scream out fear. The people start to turn on thier flashlights, lighters, and phone. Thomas and andy were sitting down as a man sitting across from them.
Man: Hey, it's going to alright.
Thomas: It is not.
Man: Hey don't scare the kid.
Thomas: He should be worried about thier infection. If one had it then it's three then six. nine. Then the next thing you know there are about thirty, so don't sugar coat-
He was interrupted to hear the sound of banging on the door. Thomas and Andy were walking towards the pair of doors, the man soon follows. Thomas takes out his gun cocking it and takes the safety off. As they got closer a face appear startling the boys.
They realize who it is...... it was infected, Don. He keeps hitting the door finally he opens them. Both teens see Don bleeding from his mouth, blood on his clothes. They froze when they see his eyes, red fiery eyes. Thomas points his gun but could pull the trigger.
Thomas: Why can't I pull the trigger?!
Infected Don runs to them. The teens run away make Don attacking the man next to them.
Thomas and Andy made thier way through the crowd. Thomas yells out INFECTED IN THE LOT.
But it was too later since the infection already spreading. As people are biting healthy people and/or vomiting blood on them, an infected would attack killing a person without turning him. You couldn't tell who is infected and who's not as it's too dark. The screaming healthy people and howls of the infected can be heard throughout the lot.
Andy starts to climb on top of people Thomas helps him across an opening an air ventilation ducting.
Thomas: Andy, get out of here find away out. Don't worry about me!
Even with the loud noises and screaming he can make out what he said. He starts to climb the vent escaping hell.
