"Are you sure you're really fine? We can stay at my place if you want." Kakashi held onto her shoulders as she attempted to stand. She held his hands, moving them away from her shoulders.
"It's really fine, Kakashi. Let's go watch the fireworks. I know the perfect place." Itsuko gave him a smirk, holding his hand before she took a sprint out of the house. Before they knew it, they were already sprinting on roofs, not on the ground.
Worried, Kakashi held onto her hand tightly, his fingers tangled between hers. "Are you sure you know where we're going?" Kakashi asked, raising his voice. The wind blew against his face as he spoke, making even his loud voice soft.
"Trust me I know what in doing!" Itsuko turned back, giving him a reassuring smile as they ran against the win, jumping from rooftop to rooftop.
It didn't take long before they arrived at the destination Itsuko brought them. Fireflies zigzagged around the area shinning like toy sized forge, their light reflected on the lake creating a starry effect. Kakashi stared at the view, amazed and fascinated.
"It's nice isn't it? Best thing is, it's quite isolated but you can have a clear view of the fireworks here. It's my secret spot." Itsuko gave him a wink, pulling over a log for them to rest. It was the perfect spot for them. Little did they know, it wasn't going to be as perfect. Tick, tock, tick, tock. The time bomb started ticking, every second as they sat. Even Itsuko didn't notice.
"There's something I need to tell you since we're going out. Please, please don't interrupt. It probably won't make sense but it's all true." Itsuko took a deep breath, gathering her courage to explain. Kakashi looked at her, his hands holding onto hers, warming them. He gave her his full attention, not planning to reply.

"I only tell this to those I date. It brings us back to my previous life. The me back then made a contract that lasts forever. Hence, my explanation now. It was a contract with the butterflies. Inside included my family's. It's stated that if I ever wanted a child, I wouldn't be able to get one. Instead, it happens when I meet my soulmate. The butterflies god or so will somehow combine DNAs and create our child. The child would be brought up by them in their world with a total different time flow. Even if it were to be our child, we wouldn't know. Not until a crucial time they say." She summed up, trying her best to make it sound at least logical. Kakashi blinked twice, he wasn't sure what to respond with. All he could did was squeeze her hand tight. His heart was pumping, his mind was going wild, he didn't know what to do.
Then, the fireworks started. He secretly thanked them for saving him from a response. He hadn't a single clue on what he should've said. He thought he should change the topic, maybe talk about the fireworks or something. But before he started, Itsuko had took the initiative to.
"You know, I'm really worried about this year's carnival." She sighed, "the theme isn't like the usual, it's themed masks-"
Before Itsuko could finish her sentence, Kurama had taken over. Shooting up, her hands drew something in the air, too fast for anyone to comprehend. Then, a shield appeared. It shinned bright golden, as bright as the sun, shielding Itsuko and Kakashi from the water, caused by the time bomb that went off underwater.
"Geez, get your guard up! You can have your own lovely time afterwards, we're being attacked." Kurama snapped, handing her conscious back to Itsuko.

Itsuko's eye lid flicked like lights, light on her foot, she tried walking but fell. Kakashi caught her just in time, holding her. "Are you okay? You're not hurt or anything right?" He asked worriedly.
"I'm fine, I haven't really mastered this jutsu yet but it was the only way to block of that time bomb. It sets off under water, the water that splashes out are all acidic and will cause your life." Itsuko explained, attempting to catch her balance. "I've sent a signal over to the Anbu, they should have started moving out by now. I'll find out who's behind this."
With that, she gave him a peck before she jumped onto a roof, leaping to another, following the sound of the explosives and signs of chakra. "Team Alpha, scout nearby me. Team Bravo, Charlie and Delta scout the gates. The rest will take the areas which aren't mentioned. Keep casualty rate as low as possible. I expect none of you to die on this battlefield." She instructed her Anbus, which she met while making her way over to the enemy.
She leaped from building to building but she didn't find anything, that she was looking for that is. "Itsuko~ Looking for me?" A muscular man, around her age came up. It was Haro.
"What are you doing? This is over stepping your boundaries you know?" Itsuko warned in an ominous tone.
"Itsuko? Who's that you're speaking to?" Tsunade suddenly appeared. It made Itsuko roll her eyes, clenching her fist.
"Should I answer her question or yours~?" He teased playfully. A normal enemy would be frightened by Itsuko, if not the atmosphere alone. "My question."
"You're no fun." He spit on the ground before looking back into her eyes. " sent a mission to the idiot, who wasn't around. So I took the mission. He left a note too."
The only they talked about was him. No one else but her brother, Itachi Uchiha.
He walked until their shoulder was side by side, an inch away from touching. He stuffed a scroll over to her hand, whispering in her ears. "He's very secretive you know? I've been trying to decipher this but it isn't working well."
"Were you expecting anything less?" Itsuko opened the scroll and smirked, walking off, their backs facing each other. "I'll make sure to inform Lady Hokage all your good traits, if I manage to find any."
"Oh I'm sure you'll find loads of them. See ya around." Haro laughed before he fired a signal for retreat, getting out of the village in the speed of light.
"You heard me, I'll tell you about it after I get some rest." Itsuko turned, facing Team Alpha which scouted the nearby. "Thank you for your hard work, I'll make sure to give you another day for your party. Before you go, please pass the message to the rest too."
While making her way home. She felt light headed, from using the shield earlier. It wad the only way of countering they had but it took up so much of her chakra.
The scroll was written in a language only understood by the twins. It wrote:
Those words echoed in her head before a patch of darkness blinded her.
