《The Uchiha (Itachi Twin Sister// Naruto Fan-fiction)》Chapter 26 [The Past]

"Itsuko." He called out again, this time he called out her name. He instantly knew that he had crossed the line by doing that. But regardless he has gone too far to care.
"Say that again," Itsuko mumbled under my breath, stopping her footsteps.
"Itsuko..." Kakashi's voice softens, shaking slightly.
"How long has it been? Ten years?" Itsuko chuckled, smiling softly, her back still facing him. Her heart skipped a beat, she never thought she would hear him call her by her name again after so long.
Silence fell. Tsunade and Shizune looked at them confused. They had no clue what was going on at all.
"I'm sorry," Kakashi said, his eye closed and his fist clenched. His face clearly showed that he was holding back tears. "If I wasn't so reckless, you wouldn't be left with the scars and your ANBU mark..."
"Idiot. You should be." Itsuko mumbled. Before anyone could comprehend the situation, she ducked, sliding her feet across the floor. Kakashi jumped to prevent being tripped. Itsuko appeared behind him and kicked him, sending him onto the ground.
"Itsuko!" Tsunade yelled, shooting up from her chair to restrain Itsuko but Shizune stopped her by grabbing onto her arm. Tsunade looked at Shizune confused but glancing ahead, she saw Itsuko reaching out for Kakashi.
Itsuko helped Kakashi up. This wasn't something the Itsuko they knew would have done. They could only stare in confusion but the two paid no attention to them. Almost immediately, Kurama had took over Itsuko, leaving her eyes red and narrowed. This sent Tsunade and Shizune on the ball of their feet.
"You have nothing to apologize for. You've apologized over and over again. It's more than enough already." Kurama said, turning Itsuko's back at Kakashi, walking off.
"Can I call you by your name again?" Kakashi shot suddenly, causing Kurama to stop Itsuko's steps.
"You're not an ANBU anymore, Kakashi." Itsuko's voice whispered softly. Neither Tsunade nor Shizune has ever heard the ANBU captain spoke in such a gentle tone. Kakashi smiled, teleporting off while Itsuko headed out from the door. Leaving Tsunade and Shizune very confused.
"What do you think just happened?" Tsunade asked Shizune, leaning back onto her seat as she turned her chair to look at the village.
"I don't know. Perhaps something to do with their past?" Shizune suggested, holding onto the pig. The pig nodded in agreement, snorting.

Tsunade got up from her chair, grabbing her Hokage hat, and headed out from her office. Her steps echoed along the hallway. After a while of walking, she arrived in front of a door many times bigger than she herself. She placed the hat on the chair beside the door before typing in the code. The big door slowly opened, revealing a much bigger room inside. The room had at least three levels, each level containing files of information. Tsunade had only been in the room once. That was when she was introduced to the building. She never visited the room just for information on people. This was the first time. She needed to know more.
The files were arranged in alphabetical order. Climbing onto the ladder, Tsundae slid along the wall, looking for the Uchihas. Finally finding it, she proceeded to look for Itsuko. But to her surprise, it was nowhere to be found.
"Impossible," Tsunade exclaimed, her eyes scanning every file again. There was no way that even these chambers contain no information on her. Sighing, she caught a glimpse of the file of Itachi Uchiha, who was known to have massacred the almost entire Uchiha clan alone. For a long time, Tsunade had thought that Sasuke Uchiha was the last Uchiha, not knowing the existence of such a powerful being like Itsuko.
Relations:
Parents: Fugaku Uchiha and Mikoto Uchiha
Siblings: Itsuko Uchiha (twin sister) and Sasuke Uchiha (younger brother)
Pausing, Tsunade didn't know how to process the information she had just read.
Recalling, she remembered being told that Itsuko was the other jinchuriki of the nine tails fox. Coming to realization, she concluded that Itsuko must have been related to Minato Namikaze, the fourth Hokage somehow.
Getting excited, she held onto the ladder, sliding over to the very side of the door before landing on the ground. She ran over to the corner, the files there consisted of the information on Hokages. Taking out Minato Namikaze's, the fourth Hokage's fie, she flipped through immediately, reading through his life story and information.
The file didn't consist of much information on Itsuko Uchiha. It was said that she just happened to be nearby during the nine tails attack so Minato sealed half of the nine tails into her while the other half in his own son. But it just didn't seem right. Minato Namikaze, the fourth Hokage was a wise man. He wouldn't seal the nine tails into a random kid that passed by.

"You actually believe what's written in these files?" Itsuko's voice ringed through the corridors. Turning on her heels, Tsunade looked up and found Itsuko standing on the ladder, hanging on with one hand.
She jumped off the ladder, landing on her feet. In her hand, she held a file much different from the rest that was outside.
"How did you get in here?" Tsunade exclaimed. She was almost certain that she had remembered to lock the door behind her. She even left Shizune back at the office. The room was also inside a barrier that didn't allow any ways of entering unless permission was granted. Only the past Hokages and herself had permission. It was impossible that she got in.
"Technically speaking, I have permission to enter this place. I used to hang out with Minato here." She said, throwing the file in the air. Tsunade caught it in her hands. It was the file she had been looking for. Itsuko's file.
Flipping through it, Tsunade found that her past was a pretty common and normal past. It was a past everyone else had. A loving family, entering the academy, becoming genin, chunin, jounin then anbu captain.
"It's all bullshit." She laughed, walking around the place, sliding her hands across the files. "You only get a file in here when you become genin, otherwise your files aren't in here, they'll be placed with the other villagers. I never got into an official genin team."
"But why? What happened in your past?" Tsunade asked, placing Minato's file back before placing Itsuko's beside his.
"Do you have some kind of jutsu that looks into my head? If you don't then you can forget about finding out. I'm not telling you." She glanced over, her eye showed that she was very serious about it.
They walked out of the room, not speaking anything of it. Itsuko knew she has told her some parts of her past before but just after she became Hokage, she had erased the memories from her. Itsuko realized that she had talked too much that night. She knew erasing her memories wasn't the right thing to do but what's done is done. There was only silence in the atmosphere between the two.
"Are you sure about letting her in your head? That's not a very good option y'know?" Kurama said as Itsuko was walking on the streets, following closely behind Tsunade.
"I don't know. She'll find out, one way or another. Maybe she'll go ask Minato and get him to answer" Itsuko laughed, causing Kurama to roll his eyes, kicking her out of the conversation rudely.
Not long after, they arrived in front of a large building. It was the interrogation headquarters. Itsuko's eyes widen as she took a step back. There was no way she was going in there.
"What's wrong?" Tsunade turned, asking.
"I'm not stepping foot into his territory." Itsuko glared. This was something she will not back out of.
Tsunade sighed, leaving me outside. She came out of the building not so long after, with Ibiki following behind her. Itsuko glared at him, receiving a glare in return. He stretched out his hand from his pocket, reaching for her head. Itsuko leaped behind, glaring more intensely than ever before, her hand ready to draw her katana. "One more move and you're done for."
"Are you going to disobey the Hokage's orders now?! It may have been fine with the fourth Hokage but it's different now! If you really want to become a rogue that badly, then why don't you just go ahead and be one already so I can freely hunt you down!" Ibiki yelled, glaring at me. He didn't step past the gate. He stayed inside his territory.
"He's dead! Of course, it's different, everything is different!" Itsuko yelled in return, getting silent. "Yeah, I'd gladly disobey a Hokage's orders if all it means is getting marked as a rogue. What's the difference anyway? A rogue and myself. Nothing I can't handle."
"If this is what you're going to be doing, maybe you should try asking Minato in front of his grave. Maybe it'll be more effective." Itsuko glared at Tsunade, walking off.
"Inconsiderate brats." Kurama complained, glaring at them.
From the corner of her eye, she saw Ibiki storming back into the building, leaving Tsunade at her own thoughts. Though she did feel bad for Tsunade, there was no way she was going to let Ibiki of all people into her head.
