《The Uchiha (Itachi Twin Sister// Naruto Fan-fiction)》Chapter 23 [Scars] (part 2)

I arrived in front of a building in the middle of the woods. It's been more 10 years since I was here.
"My princess, I certainly didn't expect to see you here." A deep voice no one else would ever be able to fake said. I haven't heard something like it in a long long time.
"Hey, do you honestly think I'm going to fall for the same trick twice? I was six back then." I smirked, activating my sharingan, taking out my katana.
"You became quiet famous." He said, taking out a knife. It was a thin knife yet it was sharp and it'd be sharper if he used his wind style on it.
He was wearing an armour. It was different from the one last time though. This time, it was harder and more protective. His face was also half covered by an the armour, covering the right half of his face.
He leaped forward, his knife in front of him. "Wind Style: Sharpen."
"Wind Style: Illusional Bond." Itsuko mumbled, not moving a muscle.
He was so close in front of Itsuko, he could've just stabbed her but instead he leaned back, disappearing. He disappeared for a good minute before suddenly reappearing behind her, stabbing her.
Itsuko scattered into butterflies, causing him to panic. He had no idea what was happening, he had absolutely no plan at all.
He turned right, turned left, looking up and down but he could find Itsuko anywhere. He thought she was using the same technique he designed.
'Wait, a genjutsu!' He suddenly thought of.
"Kai!" He yelled, trying for the fifth time to release himself from the genjutsu. He was sure it was a genjutsu yet he was trapped in it, unable to release himself or do anything.

"Kai!" He tried again, finally releasing himself. Immediately getting on guard, he looked around to see the trees around stained with blood. His friends and allies all dead. In front of him stood Itsuko.
"H-How... There was at least a whole village of them!" He screamed, tears flowing down from his eye as he fell to his knees.
Itsuko said nothing but did nothing as well. She just stood in front of him, watching him. He stood up, eye full of anger, he clenched his knife tight in his palm, rushing towards Itsuko with all he has.
He wasn't very good with ninjutsu or genjutsu but he always relied on his taijutsu. His armour made his taijutsu hits stronger than ever but it was easy to counter for Itsuko. She used her katana, cutting through all his armour.
"How... That katana... My armour was designed to be unbreakable!" He screamed as Itsuko continued stabbing him, cracking through his armour. She avoided his vital organs since the mission she got was to bring him back to konoha.
Itsuko kneeled down, lifting up his head by grabbing his hair, she looked into his eye, casting a genjutsu on him before throwing him over her shoulder, teleporting back to Konoha.

"Itsuko!" Tsunade yelled in shock upon seeing Itsuko appear out of nowhere in front of her with Yahiro on her shoulder.
Shizune sighed, giving up with telling Itsuko not to barge in like that and have some manners.
Itsuko placed a paper on Tsunade's table, dropping Yahiro onto the ground. "Mission complete."
"It hasn't even been 3 hours! This is an A-ranked mission!" Tsunade burst out in shock and happiness. It wasn't quite possible for one to complete an A-rank mission this quickly.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm off now." Itsuko said, wiping some blood off her katana with a cloth before she walked out, reading a paper. Presumably her next mission.

"She's amazing isn't she?" Tsunade said, taking a seat, looking dazzled.
"She is." Kakashi said, making his entrance. "The mission was a success."
"Alright. Take this mission. It's an S-ranked. Here's the paper." Tsunade said, handing Kakashi a piece of paper for his S-ranked mission.
Kakashi left, leaving Tsunade and Shizune with Yahiro who was under genjutsu.
Tsunade stood up from her chair, lifting Yahiro up, heading out of her office with Shizune following behind.
"Ibiki!" Tsunade yelled, busting into the interrogation headquarters. "I want you to get him to spill out anything he revealed about the leaf village and what he did when he was out!"
Ibiki walked over from Inoichi's side, taking Yahiro's body from Tsunade.
A glance at his body was all it took for him to realize something. He glared at the wounds on Yahiro. "So bloody. Itsuko did the job didn't she? Only a person like her could do such a thing."
Tsunade raised her eyebrow, smirking. "Are you two that close?"
Inoichi immediately stood up from his seat, rushing over to Tsunade.
"Please don't do that. They're enemies." He whispered into her ears before taking a step back.
Ibiki pretend he didn't see Inoichi do anything and dropped Yahiro off at the side. He unbuttoned the first two button of his shirt, exposing his neck and the top of his chest. There were scars were from deep wound, it's probably a miracle one person would be able to survive that.
"That monster did this to me just because I tried helping her out with eliminating the enemies." He said, narrowing his eyes before buttoning up his shirt again.
"They also don't get along well. Their opinions are too different and they're both strong willed people so they won't let others change their opinion. Even Lord Third didn't dare to place those two on a mission together. I mean sure they're both good but they might end up killing the other." Inoichi whispered to Tsunade once more before getting back to work.
Tsunade looked taken aback, so did Shizune. They left without another word. Tsunade didn't know what to feel about their relationship. It wasn't one there should be in a village where you rely on one another. But yet again, since when have Itsuko ever relied on someone? She's always independent.

Of Gods and Dungeons
March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. Warning: Violence, morbidity Cover: Taken from here, courtesy of www.pexels.com by photographer @tookapic. Author's Note: I've read some dungeon core stories on here, and they've tickled my fancy. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write. This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.

The Heretic Legion
Cover Art: Undead Master by Changling Assassin. Located at: http://fav.me/dbm60ex Used under license Creative Commons attribution non-commercial 3.0 per bottom right of the linked page. Summary: Just the story of a necromancer and his eventual army. Currently, the only major thing of note is a pretty fleshed out magic system. No set list of spells or specific incantations. Just rules similar to the laws of physics, within those laws you can do whatever is possible. Updates: I work Sunday thru Wednesday and updates tend to revolve around my scheduled days off. Currently, I release content as I feel it's ready for release because that's what I myself would prefer from an author. Warnings: This story is graphic. blood/necromancy magic that requires self-harm to use. explicit descriptions of sexuality. (though fairly tame outside of the marked chapters, at least compared to said chapters) and is generally darker in tone. If you're concerned you might start to read only to be turned off by these elements. See 7. Teetering on the Edge for an example of the graphic nature of violence or 9. Explicit Content for a fairly self-contained example of the most explicit of the sexual content.
