《The Uchiha (Itachi Twin Sister// Naruto Fan-fiction)》Chapter 2 [Team 7]

"Alright, the team is dismissed. Make sure to nail that formation before our next meeting." As usual, Itsuko reminded her Anbu team before she left. It wasn't much, but she had always felt that it was the least she could do to be more like an actual captain.

Arriving at the classroom where she was meant to meet the genins for the first time, she realized that she was earlier than expected. Needless to say, Kakashi was late. Itsuko sighed at the thought of the trouble that has to come. From where she stood, the duster clipped between the door was painstakingly obvious. It was definitely a childish prank set up by Naruto, the well-known troublemaker.

"The other half of me is sealed in that useless brat," Kurama growled in much annoyance and unsatisfactory.

"And that you can't even get out of a useless brat. Doesn't that make you the pathetic one? But he won't be useless for much longer. I'm sure Lord Third is going to make me train him one way or another. When that happens, you're going to cooperate with me on that." Itsuko scoffed, knowing Kurama would understand fair well. He remained quiet, seemingly to not give a care about Itsuko's statement. Kurama was always stubborn and liked to play tough. He has a hard and scary composure, but deep down, he always had a good heart.

Not long after, Kakashi arrived as well.

"I'll go get them. Then, we'll meet up at the roof for introductions." Itsuko yawned, teleporting inside lazily. She took a good look at their faces before she spoke.

Sasuke snapped, shooting up from his seat, alarmed and ready to fight. "What are you doing here?!"

Unlike Sasuke, Naruto was more filled with disappointment. "Aw, man! Sensei didn't fall for it!"

"I told you, our sensei is an elite jounin! She wouldn't fall for a trick like that!" Sakura yelled at Naruto, punching him in the head before turning to me, giving me a soft and apologetic look. "Apologies, sensei, we tried to stop him."

"Gather up at the roof and stop being idiots." Her hatred and impatience for dealing with children have skyrocketed over the past years.

"It'd be a miracle if I make it out alive." Ranting did little to relieve her dread of this far from an enjoyable journey of a teacher.

It wasn't much later the team had made their way to the rooftop. "Well then, let's begin with introductions." Kakashi started.

He was dulled too. Going on missions would be much more entertaining than introductions. Yet, he was forced to remain enthusiastic about this orientation. Itsuko could easily see through his act of ardent, mostly because she felt the same.

"What do we say?" Naruto had already started making himself comfortable as he sat on the ground as he asked.

"Your name. Things you like and things you hate. Dreams for the future and your hobbies." Typical introduction, simple and pretty boring.

Taking a seat beside Naruto and Sasuke, Sakura suggested, "Sensei, how about you start? Then we'll know what to do."

"Me? Sure. My name is Kakashi Hatake. Things I like and things I hate, I don't feel like telling you that. Dreams for the future, I never really thought about it. As for hobbies, I have lots of hobbies."

"All he really told us was his name!" Sakura whined, exclaiming. However, Kakashi paid no attention and had absolutely zero intentions of elaborating.

"Now, let's start with you there." Kakashi glanced over at Naruto, skipping past the topic.

"What about her? She never introduced herself! And why does our team have two teachers, but everyone else only had one? We're strong. We don't need two people to teach us!" Being the egoistic kid Naruto was, he fussed over these little details. Kakashi shot Naruto a stern look before giving Itsuko a helpless expression.

"Itsuko Uchiha, that's my name. I'm not a jounin leader. I'm here on a special request of The Hokage. Nothing else concerns you. Now, if we can get started." Rolling her eyes, she thought to herself. This is really the worst introduction she has ever taken part in. Introductions were supposed to enlighten your teammates about your strengths and weaknesses, not likes and dislikes. But what can she do? She really just wanted to get this over and done with.

Sasuke glared at Itsuko for the entire duration. His question has yet to be answered, and he was not about to let her go just like that.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki! I like instant ramen and the ramen at Ichiraku's. I hate the time you have to wait for the ramen to be ready. My dream for the future has to become the greatest Hokage there ever was. Then the whole village would stop disrespecting me. My hobby is to try different ramen." Naruto had a huge grin on his face as he confidently gave his introductions. It took no expert to see how wounded the child was.

"Very interesting, next," Kakashi said, his words coming out very unwilling and sarcastic. All he mentioned was ramen and Hokage.

"My name is Sakura Haruno. I like... I mean, the person I like is... My dream for the future is... And my hobby is..." Sakura mumbled, stumbling as she was cheekily throwing small glances at Sasuke after every sentence, making it more than obvious that she has a crush on Sasuke.

"And what do you hate?"

"I hate Naruto." She glared at Naruto, shifting more towards Sasuke. Kakashi let out a heavy sigh. He was almost sure he wasn't going to pass this team. "Okay, you next."

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I don't like anything specific, neither do I hate anything specific. My dreams for the future don't really dream as I will make them come true. I will restore my clan and kill a certain someone." Sasuke said, his face dull and serious.

"We'll be having a mission tomorrow," Kakashi said, almost immediately after Sasuke finished, not wanting the introductions to go on any longer. But before he had a chance to complete his instructions, he was interrupted. Itsuko took a deep breath, calming herself. If they were to be her Anbus, they'd be dead by now.

Naruto shot up upon hearing the word "mission." His eyes were shining. "What kind of mission?"

"First, we'll do what we can do with just us four people. A survival test. It's not a simple test." Interrupted, Kakashi cleared his throat before he let out his giggles.

"What's so funny?" Finding it odd, Sakura gave Kakashi a weird look.

"You're not going to like it if I tell you." Kakashi smiled creepily at the clueless genins.

"What is it? What is it?" Naruto asked, curiosity shining in his eyes.

"Of the twenty-seven graduates, only nine will be recognized as junior ninjas. The remaining eighteen will be sent back to the academy. This is a tough test with a failure rate of 66% or higher in their words. Meet me at the training ground at 5 am. Oh... and it's best if you skip breakfast or else you'll puke."

"That's his tests. As for my test, pass it, and I'll train you, even if you fail Kakashi's test. You prepare yourselves, mentally and physically." Itsuko spoke, her words quick and stern before Kakashi dismissed them.

"Sasuke! You know Itsuko sensei?" Naruto and Sakura yelled, approaching a confused Sasuke.

"She's my sister," Sasuke answered, though seemingly still lost in his own thoughts.

"But I thought you we're the last Uchiha?" Sakura asked. Her heart sped faster and faster. She could feel her face getting warm every second she stared at Sasuke.

"No, I don't know how, but that's her, I'm sure of it."

"She said she isn't a jounin leader, then what is she?"Sakura's hands rubbing against each other nervously as she spoke to Sasuke. Her eyes dodging his. Oh god, he's so handsome! Naruto nodded rapidly in agreement to Sakura's question.

"Anbu captain. Although, I'm sure he is much stronger than her."

"Who-" The one and only idiotic, dense Naruto asked. Sakura immediately covered his mouth, not allowing Naruto to continue his sentence, knowing this was a sensitive topic for Sasuke as it connected to his dark past.

Sasuke glanced over, Naruto needn't complete his sentence, and Sasuke already knew though he didn't bother to answer.

"We'll get going now. See you tomorrow, Sasuke-kun." Sakura's voice shook nervously as she dragged Naruto off.

Sakura looked around, making sure Sasuke wasn't around before she started yelling at Naruto.

"YOU IDIOT! That question is a question you should never ask Sasuke-kun! It's his brother, of course! The one that murdered his whole clan!" Sakura exclaimed, glad she could finally let it out.

Naruto gave Sakura a blank face. He clearly didn't get what happened. He didn't even know that the Uchiha clan was all slaughtered by Itachi.

"Well, I'll be heading home now. Good luck with tomorrow. Don't be late." Sakura tried explaining it to Naruto so he'd understand but had given up.

Just what happened to Sasuke in his past? That was the only thing Naruto could think of as he walked towards Ichiraku's for dinner.
