*Miku POV*

I woke up by the sound of my alarm clock. I shut it down and rose up from my bed. i got change, brush my teeth and go join my sisters for breakfast. Nino gave me a plate and i begin filling it up with some food. Today's breakfast was nothing special just some egg, toast and jam. i start eating with my sister and suddenly yotsuba started talking.

Yotsuba: "why don't you guys join me and fuutaro studying today. you guys probably have nothing better to do anyways."

ichika: "pass i have work to do."

itsuki: "i'm passing too, i rather study on my own than studying with that creep." she said while chewing her food

Nino: "i agree with itsuki, besides i already plan to go to the mall with my friends " she said while taking a bite of her food

yotsuba: "what about you miku?"

miku: "i don't know, maybe i join you if i had nothing better to do."

yotsuba: "yeay! i manage to get one of you to join me." she said happily while putting her hands into the air

Nino: " but she hasn't confirm it yotsuba. Miku said "maybe" she join you not she "will" join you" she while sighing afterwards.

Yotsuba: "well it's not like miku have some work to do so I gurantee she will join." She said while smiling

Nino: "fine you win."

We all finish our breakfast and start heading to school. We decided to go a little bit early today. We stop at the convenience store because itsuki want to buy some bread. I waited for them outside because I don't have anything I want to buy a the convenience store. While I was waiting for them I see Shizuki san jogging to school. Is he late or something, well I don't think so because we're in the same school. Maybe he just jog for fun to school. After my sister's already done buying stuff they needed we continue our walk to school.

*In classroom*

*Miku POV*

I arrive at my classroom and took a sit at my place. I look around to see how many of my classmates has come. There's around six people that has arrive. Beside me was Shizuki san, he seem deep in thought. Maybe I should start a conversation with him.

Miku: "good morning Shizuki san."

Kenji: "morning miku san." He said while facing me.

Miku: "did you sleep well last night?"

Kenji: "I just sleep a little late than usual. I was doing something."

Miku: "I see. Hey Shizuki san."

Kenji: "yeah"

Miku: "wanna hang out at the the school rooftop on lunch?"

Kenji: "sure. I meet you there."

Miku: "ok cool."

After that conversation more students came and the teacher came too. We pay attention to the class but I don't really understand what the teacher was talking about. I just study it home I guess.

*School rooftop*

After class ended I went straight to the school rooftop. Shizuki san said he will buy lunch first and then he will come here after that.

After a couple minutes of waiting Shizuki san can with a 2 melon bread in his hand. He handed me one and I accept it.

Kenji: "so what do you want to talk about miku san?"

Miku: "let's see. What about your family."

Kenji: "you want to know about my family?" I nodded at his question.

Kenji: "let's start with my dad first. My dad work overseas and travel around the world. He always come back around new year to visit us. He's been doing that job since I was 7 years old. We're not too close but it's a decent relationship I must say."

Miku: "what about your mom."

Kenji: "my mom own a flower shop that is part of our house. Before my dad leave for his job he used to help my mom with her flower shop but now my mom handle it alone. Sometimes me and my little sister help her with her flower shop."

Miku: "you have a little sister?" He nodded

Kenji: "mmm, her name is kaguya Shizuki. She is three years younger than me. Now she's already a third year at middle school. She will be attending high school next year."

Miku: "I see. So you have sister too."

Kenji: "what about you miku. Can you tell me about your family." He ask while opening his bread.

Miku: "I have four other sister that are the same age as me. We're quintuplets and I'm the third one. The first one is Ichika she is the oldest out of all of us. The second one is Nino, she's the one that always cook. The fourth one is Yotsuba, she's the most cheerful one out of all of us. The fifth one is itsuki, she's the youngest one and the one that eat the most."

Kenji: "what about your parents miku san."

Miku: "my mother died a few years ago. And now I only have my stepdad."

Kenji: "sorry for asking miku san."

Miku: "no it's okay."

Kenji: "so you already experience it." He said while taking the last bite of his bread.

Miku: "experience what?"

Kenji: "the pain of losing someone you love and hold dear. It hurt more than anything in this world. It fells like your world is shatter to a million pieces."

He's right. It does feel like that. It feel like you are doing everything wrong. It's like the end of the world for me.

Miku: "you're right Shizuki san. It does feel like that. It feels like I'm doing everything wrong. It hurt my heart everytime I think of her." I said in a verge of tears but I hold it. I don't want to embarrass myself in front of Shizuki san.

Kenji: "say nakano san,"

Miku: "what is it?"

Kenji: "how many people have you lose already?"

How many? Did he lose that much people he love in his life. I only lose my mom. I wonder how many time he cried before. It must have hurt him so much. And because of this he become like this.

Miku: "I only lose my mom. How about you Shizuki san? How many people have you lost."

Kenji: "everyone that I love. But I still have my family. My parents, my sister at least I still have them." He said while his expression change. I can see that he is in a verge of tears.

Miku: "it's okay to cry Shizuki san."

Kenji: "cry? Hmph I cried enough miku san. I already cried a lot before. It's countless, how much I cried. A hundred times? A thousand times? I don't know."

After that it was a short silence between us. It's like the world suddenly stop for a minute. The wind blew toward us, it flew through Shizuki san hair making it flew with the wind.

Kenji: "say nakano san. The world is weird isn't it?"

Miku: "what do you mean by that?"

Kenji: "people died everyday but the world go on like it's nothing."

Miku: "it really is weird. But we need to keep living for the one that's still alive. You parents must be really sad if you die."

Kenji: "I guess you're right. The past is the past. But the one that died will never come back."

Miku: "Shizuki san. Do you mind if I ask?"

Kenji: "ask what miku san."

Miku: "who is the person you love so much that died." He stay silent for a minute.

Kenji: "which do you referring to." He said in a quite tone.

Miku: "the one that give you inspiration to sing."

Kenji: "I won't tell you my relationship with her but I will only tell you her name."

Miku: "that's okay."

Kenji: "her name was... maya suzuki."

Miku: "maya suzuki huh? What an interesting name."

Kenji: "she's an interesting person too."

Miku: "I see."

Kenji: "let's head back to our class miku san. The bell gonna ring soon." I nodded and follow him.

Timeskip (after class)

*Kenji POV*

Today was a wild day I must say. I talk to miku san more than usual. Usually she would just greet me and I greet her back. But today it's different, we go and talk at the school rooftop, alone. We talked about her family, my family and my past. I guess I really am making progress. I wonder if I should be friends with her. She seems nice. Maybe I should.

(kenji's room)

I drop my back on the floor and lay on my bed. And I thought to myself 'it wouldn't hurt to listen to it one more time isn't it?' . I got up and went to my study table. I open my laptop and plug in my pen drive. I wear my headphones and I click the video. The video started playing.

*The video* 3rd POV

Kenji: "wait up " He said while panting.

They were jogging in the morning.

: "you're not gonna catch up if you keep stopping you know." She said while giggling afterwards.

Kenji: "you know I'm not used to running in the morning right. And by the way why are you recording this?"

: "for memories kenji. We can watch it back in the future if we missed the old times. In case one of us died in early ages, who knows when we might die."

Kenji: "you shouldn't say that you know. And when will we take a break. I'm nearly out of breath."

: "you know. You're really cute when you are tired. I guess I'm really are lucky to have you as a boyfriend."

Kenji: "aww thanks. Now let's take a break! My legs are shaking. If you don't want to pay that's fine I can pay."

: "yay! Mission accomplished." She said while jumping

Kenji: "so your goal is to make me buy you breakfast huh? Nice job because you did it."

: "so can I have a-"

Kenji: "two melon bread, one meat bread and green tea?"

: "you know me too well kenji." She said while smiling

Kenji: "of course, I'm your boyfriend after all. Now would you stop recording." He said while reaching for the camera

: "aww, your no fun kenji." She said while ending the video.

*Video ends*

*Kenji POV*

Those were good time I had with you. I wish it never end. I wish you were still here with me. I wish you had told me sooner about your condition. If you had maybe I would have done something. I don't know if could ever get over you. Would you teach me how to forget the past. Would you come here and spent the rest of your life here. Am I an idiot? I guess I really am. Why do I need to bear this by myself. where are you when I need you the most man, aren't you supposed to guide me? I guess life does hate me. I fail both as boyfriend and a best friend.

After watching a couple more videos I got change and went downstairs to eat dinner. After I finish dinner I go upstairs, brush my teeth and went straight to bed.

While I was laying in bed I thought to myself. 'What if, I was there that time. What if, I know about your condition sooner. What if I never met you guys at all. That's nonsense. It's not like I can go back to the past. Better go sleep, I have school tomorrow.'

I comfort myself in my bed and go straight to sleep.

*Miku POV*

I just remembered something. I didn't attend fuutaro study session. Welp there's always tomorrow. It's better if I go to sleep rather than think about that. I got up and went to close the light switch and then went straight to sleep.
