"Slow down!" I screamed.
"Brianna! I told you to put your head down!" Stiles grabbed my head and shoved it down. I tried to push his hand off my head but he wouldn't budge. Ever since I became human again he's been stronger than me. He's also been more protective. Like now, how he's pushing my head down in case someone decides to shoot at us while we try to save our friends.
"Stiles!"
There was a loud thud and Stiles slammed on the breaks. Oh my gosh! Did he just hit someone?!
"You didn't think you were doing this without me, did you?" Stiles asked, his hand still pushing my head down.
"Without us?" Derek asked.
"Stiles! Get your damn hand off my head!" I finally managed to flip my head up, my hair falling all over my face. I blew it away and finally managed to see Scott. "I'm here too!"
Apparently, our friends have been battling pretty much the everyone in Beacon Hills who have recently decided to become hunters. And they just decided to not tell Stiles and I. Derek was the one to inform us.
I watched Derek transform and run off to help Scott. He literally just jumped like, 20 feet in the air. It was so cool! I use to be able to do that. Now I can barely do 10 push ups. There's things I miss about being supernatural. But I don't regret reversing it all.
"Brianna, I said-"
"If you tell me to put my head down one more time I slapping you in the face," I held my finger toward him.
"I don't want you to get hurt," he said.
"If you haven't noticed, the hunters are more interested at shooting the people with glowing eyes and fangs."
I looked out the window and watched Malia kick this guys ass.
"Go best friend, that's my best friend!" I clapped and cheered, earning a glare from Stiles.
Soon, the hunters began to retreat to their cars. Stiles and I both jumped out of the jeep as they sped off.
I saw Malia and ran over to her. She wrapped her arms around me as I did her. I looked over and Stiles was hugging Lydia. We both walked over to them, me giving Lydia a hug and Malia Stiles. We haven't seen each other in months. I missed them all.
"I can't believe either of you didn't tell me about this," I hit Lydia and Malia's arms after we all finished hugging. "Not a word. Not a single word."
"We had reasons. Really good reasons," Lydia said as we moved places. I looked down and saw Scott crouched down by Deucalion. It was obvious he was going to die. He was shot multiple times. I wasn't sure if I felt bad or not. He's caused us trouble in the past, but he's also helped us out and became an ally.
Deucalion reached up and placed his hand on top of Scott's. "Gerard... What he fears most... He can't beat you. And he knows it." Deucalion's hand slipped away and his head fell upon his shoulder. I watched as his breathing slowed down... Then it stopped.
"It's really started, hasn't it?" Malia asked, fear in her voice.
"What's started?" Stiles asked.
Scott shook his head and stood up. "It's an all-out war." Scott looked at Derek, moving past Lydia and went and embraced him in a hug.
"As much as I enjoy the impromptu family reunion, what are you doing here?" Peter asked Derek.

"I found a pack slaughtered in Brazil. There were two words written in blood on the wall. 'Beacon Hills'."
Scott was staring at Deucalion, the evidented pain shown on his face. Stiles and I weren't told much, but we now know that Scott and the whole pack have suffered so much pain the past month.
Scott looked back at Derek and asked, "You came back for Beacon Hills?"
"No. I came back for you," Derek smiled. Scott's face brightened up a bit at his words.
Suddenly, everyone's attention was thrown towards Stiles' jeep. As someone on the police radio began to speak.
"Blood and destruction. Dreadful objects so familiar." Stiles got there first, slinging his door open and sliding inside. Scott ran to the other side and got in, while we all gathered around each door. "Caesar's spirit, ranging for revenge. With Ate by his side come hot from hell. Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice. Do you know the rest, Scott? Do you know your Shakespeare?"
Scott picked up the walkie-talkie and looked at Derek, who nodded at him. Scott pressed down the button and held it toward Derek's mouth.
"Cry, 'Havoc!' and let slip the dogs of war," Derek said.
"War, indeed. Welcome back, Derek. You must all be feeling rather nostalgic. Are you pleased with the little family reunion I've gathered around you, Scott?"
Scott held it to his lips and pressed down the button, "Yeah, well why don't you come join us and I can thank you in person?"
"I even have a few visitors for you, from London." London? Who's in London? "Even someone like Jackson Whittemore couldn't resist coming back to Beacon Hills." Jackson? Who's Jackson?.... Oh! That was the Kanima! "Say hello, Jackson." There was this sound of electricty and then the sound of Jackson screaming came through the scanner. I closed my eyes and winced at his shouts of pain. "Do it again, old man. Come a little closer. I'm gonna shove that thing so far up your ass..."
Gerard began to speak again. "Lost none of his charm, has he? You can find him here with us at the Armory, Scott. In fact, I'm going to tell you where to find all of them. Your Deputy Hellhound met some friends of his while responding to a call at Eichen House." Oh my gosh. Not Parrish too.
"Your father was on his way back from San Francisco with the goal of entering the fight. But he didn't get far." You could hear Gerard laugh as he was taunting Scott. "You might want to tell your mother to skip her shift at the hospital tonight. Liam and his friends are there now. Optimistic of them, but woefully ill-advised." I swear if one of them gets hurt, I'll kill Gerard myself. And I won't make it fast.
"This is how you wage war, Scott. A strategic positioning of your army against theirs. Which is while you will come to me. You will try to save as many as you can. And you might even get to save a few. But your limited resources will be spread thin. And ultimately you will fail. The dogs of war, Scott. They're coming for you..."
***
"Just by us more time. Wherever Liam and the others are, get them out of there," Scott told Theo over the phone.
"Am I buying you time to come up with a plan or to get help?" Theo asked.
"Both," he said and ended the call.

"It was literally day one of my internship, and up comes a slide about this guy that they've been chasing in the woods in North Carolina," Stiles began to explain.
Malia looked at Derek and asked, "I thought you were in South America."
"I was. The bodies of the werewolves I told you about? They blamed me," Derek said.
"So I learned that the FBI has cornered the feral mass-murdering unsub-"
Derek interrupted, "I found a group of hunters gathering in a meeting place. I was trying to get information."
"Well, the FBI found out about it too and they were planning a SWAT assault to take him down. Dead or alive. And, as we all know, though, with Derek, it's preferably dead."
Derek nodded and shrugged. "Preferably."
"So I convinced them to take me on the Field Op."
"You convinced the FBI to bring an intern onto an extremely dangerous field operation?" Lydia asked and I snorted out a laugh. Stiles glared at me and I slapped my hand over my mouth.
"I'm surprised he didn't convince them he could lead it," Derek said.
"I tried. Didn't work," Stiles said. "Anyway, long story short, I basically, you know, had to save his life." Stiles began to go into detail about how he carried Derek out of the place with gunshots going off and agents running around. Basically making him sound like the hero, when none of that happened.
"That's not how it happened," Derek rolled his eyes.
"Yeah. I may have left out a detail, but that's the gist of what happened. It was the essential essence of it," Stiles tried explaining.
"You couldn't walk," Derek said and I snorted again.
"I was limping," Stiles argued.
"You couldn't walk and I know that because I was carrying you," Derek began to explain what actually happened and the whole time I was fighting back laughter cause I'm just re-living the time Stiles was in the hospital and was looped up on morphine. But when he finished I was already dying of laughter because it was just so funny.
"They shot my toe! You want to see it? Brianna, shut up." I blew my cheeks into bubbles as I fought myself from laughing even more. He was obviously mad and embarrassed.
Scott kinda glanced under the table, as if he would actually see something.
"My toe was caught in the crossfire. It was obliterated."
"Okay, honey. Forget your toe," I laughed and patted his shoulder.
"Obliterated..." He mumbled again.
"Guys, it's not just the hunters. We've got another problem," Scott said.
"Oh no, what now?" I groaned.
"It's called the Anuk-ite," Lydia said.
"Bless you," I said, earning a glare from everyone. "I'm sorry."
"It can get into your head. It can make you see things," Scott began to explain.
"What does it look like?" Stiles asked.
"It used to look like two ordinary people. But somehow the merged. All we know is that it's made of two faces. One human. One supernatural," Lydia explained.
"It's a shapeshifter just like us," said Scott. "But it knows what you're afraid of. What you fear most."
"And now it can kill you just by looking at you," Malia added.
"Okay, so you're telling me we gotta go up against this thing blind? And face our deepest fear?" Stiles asked.
"Yeah. Why? What do you fear most?" Scott asked him. I glanced at Stiles when Scott said that, then looked at everyone else. The thing I fear most is losing them.
"Blindness," Stiles said, pulling me from my thoughts.
"Becoming blind?" Derek asked.
"Yeah, terrified of it. Always have been," Stiles said with a shiver. "This just seems to be a situation of unfortunate overlap."
"Lydia, Brianna, you guys and Stiles need to find Argent, get to the Armory, rescue Jackson," Scott said.
"I don't think we have time to wait for him. I've gotten through those doors once, anyway. I can do it again," Lydia said.
I reached under my shirt and pulled out my gun I brought with me and slammed it onto the table. Stiles did a very dramatic jump back at the noise.
"I might not have super-strenth and fangs anymore, but I can still handle myself. My family use to be hunters," I told them.
"You've had that the whole time?" Stiles exclaimed loudly.
"Yes, calm down. I needed to learn how to protect myself somehow," I shrugged and put the weapon back onto my hip.
"Can we slow it down just for one second, make sure I'm grasping this? So, we're actually talking about doing this? We're gonna do exactly was Gerard wants us to? Is that right?" Stiles asked, waving his hands around in the air.
"I think that if we stop the Anuk-ite, we stop it all," said Scott.
"Stopping this thing can stop Gerard and the hunters?" Derek asked.
"Not all of them are hunters."
"He's right. Most of them are ordinary people acting out of fear," Lydia agreed.
"Monroe's not gonna change," Scott sighed. "But I think that we can reach the others. Most of them, actually."
"The Anuk-ite is causing them to come from a place of fear."
"Well, fear is pretty motivating. Especially when it leads to anger," Derek said.
"And I think if we can take out the fear, we can take out the fight in them too," said Scott. "They're afraid of us, but they don't have to be. They just have to change their minds."
"Well, we have to change their minds."
"Okay," Malia piped up. "We can face the Anuk-ite. We can try to fight it blind. We can try to face our fears. But we still need to know how to catch it."
"We'll figure that out. We always do." Scott and Malia held eye contact for a long time. Longer than two people normally would have, especially when someone else began to talk.
"Oh, it's nice to see that somebody hasn't lost their optimism," Derek smirked. Scott looked away first and toward Derek.
"Not yet," he said.
"I have," Stiles said with no emotion while staring at nothing in particular.
I rolled my eyes at him and said, "We will buy you time, Scott."
"Who knows?" Lydia asked. "Maybe Jackson has an answer."
"Maybe Argent will come back with one," Malia said.
Scott placed his hand on Malia's arm and looked at Derek. "You two, you're with me. And we need Peter. Anyone who can stop this thing or slow it down."
"Where we headed?" She asked him.
"The high school."
"That's where we're gonna find this thing?" Derek asked.
"No. It'll find us."

"Lydia, get that door down!" I yelled, reaching out around the wall and shooting at the hunters on the other side of the hall. I shot them both easily and they went down.
I heard Lydia scream and I had to cover my ears. I heard a loud crash and turned around to watch the door explode in the room, knocking out anyone who was behind it.
Stiles ran in the room first. There was another door, which he kicked open. There was another hunter running towards me and Lydia but I shot him before he could begin to shoot.
"Jackson?"'
"Stiles?"
I looked at Lydia and her eyes widened. I put my gun at my hip and walked around Stiles with Lydia.
"Jackson?" Lydia asked.
"Already covered that," Stiles said.
"Oh, my god it's you!" Lydia screamed and began to run towards him. "It's really you!" She jumped in his arms and they both embraced in a tight hug.
"She broke up with him?" I asked in awe. I wasn't even sure who broke up with who, but damn. He was good looking.
"Stop staring," Stiles said annoyed.
They finally pulled out of the hug, smiles on both their faces.
Jackson looked behind us at the knocked out hunters. "You did that?" He asked Lydia.
"Uh, we," I corrected and patted my gun.
"I kicked down the door," Stiles said, very proud of himself.
"Sure did babe," I laughed and patted his shoulder.
"Babe?" Jackson looked between Stiles and I, his eyes wide. "You got her?"
"Sure did," Stiles bit his bottom lip and smiled at me. "Crazy, right?"
"Hi, I'm Brianna," I walked up to him and held out my hand. He shook it and said, "Jackson."
"Now that we're all caught up, why don't we get the hell out of here? Huh?" Stiles asked clapping his hands together.
"Uh, not without Ethan," Jackson shook his head.
"Ethan?" Lydia asked as Jackson walked past us. "What's Ethan doing here?"
"Ethan as in, Aiden and Ethan? That Ethan?" I asked.
Jackson turned around and said, "He's with me."
"He's with you?" Lydia asked confused. But I got it before both of them.
Jackson kinda had this 'look' on his face. "Yes. Me."
"Ethan?" Stiles asked.
"Yes. Ethan," Jackson confirmed.
"And you..?" Lydia asked a little more slowly, putting it together.
"Ethan?" Stiles repeated.
Jackson nodded, "Yeah."
They both has shocked looked on their faces.
"Oh, my gosh," Lydia said slowly, then sighed. "I thought you'd never figure it out."
Jackson scoffed and laughed.
"C-Can we go find him now?" Jackson pointed over his shoulder.
"Yeah. Oh..." Stiles phone began to buzz and he pulled it out of his pocket and answered it.
"We are. Leaving momentarily, though," he said then paused as whoever was on the other side spoke. "Alright, on it."
He hung up and told us that it was Scott and he needed us to get Mountain Ash from the armory. Lydia pointed us what room it would be in as she and Jackson went to find Ethan.
Stiles opened this huge metal door and slid it to the side. On the other side of the door was a small room, very bright with white walls. There were tables, and on those tables were bones, claws, parts of werewolves.
"Here," Stiles said and walked to the side, picking up a jar of Mountain Ash. "Let's get out of here."
***
Stiles sped down the empty roads in the jeep, trying to get to the school as quick as we could. I leaned my head on the window and held up the glass jar.
"You okay?" Stiles asked calmly, even though I know he was freaking out on the inside. I was too.
"What if we don't make it in time?" I asked, looking at him in fear. "What if we're already too late?"
"We're gonna make it. We always do," he nodded as we pulled up to the school. He slammed on the breaks and pulled his keys out. We both got out at the same time, I tossed him the jar which he caught and we both ran inside.
"Stiles? Is that...?" I gulped as I looked at the stone figure in front of me.
"Derek," he said. "We gotta hurry."
I placed a hand on the side of Derek's face. But Stiles grabbed my other hand and pulled me away. We began to run again.
We heard Scott's screaming in the distance, and the loud growl of the Anuk-ite.
"It's with him we have to hurry!" I yelled frantically.
We got to where we heard Scott scream, the library. Stiles burst through the doors first, me right behind him.
We could see him standing there, his glowing purple eyes.
Stiles acted quick before it could get into our heads, throwing the jar to the ground. The Mountain Ash swarmed the Anuk-Ite like a tornado. It hissed and screamed and began to turn to stone.
"Scott?" Stiles asked.
Scott fell backwards onto the steps in the library. We both ran to his side.
"What'd you do?" I asked in fear, looking at the blood from his eyes down his cheeks.
"I had to fight it, blind," he choked out.
Derek ran in first. He saw us all and ran over.
"Thank God you're okay," I sighed and pulled him into a quick hug. Then Lydia ran in.
"What's happening?" She asked.
"He's not healing," Stiles said quietly.
"Scott?" We all turned around and saw Malia standing there in utter fear and shock. She ran over to him, and we all stood out of the way. "He's not healing?"
She placed a hand on top of his, something that didn't go unnoticed to any of us. "Scott, what happened to your eyes?"
"I had to. I'm sorry," he panted.
"Scott, you have to heal," Derek said. "If your eyes stay like this much longer, the damage is gonna be permanent."
"Come on, Scott. Concentrate," Stiles said.
Scott breathed heavily, "I'm trying. It's not working. I can't focus."
"Hey, hey, look at me," Malia grabbed his face in her hands. "Yes you can. Just concentrate."
"I can't, I can't, I can't do it," he cried.
"Yes, you can. Scott, please just look at me," Malia's voice cracked.
