Chapter dedicated to for submitting this lovely cover! Thanks so much :)

"I can't feel anything," I started to freak out. "Why can't I feel anything?"

"Brianna, calm down. It's just the kanima venom kicking into your blood stream," Scott explained.

"What the hell is a kanima?" I let out a grunt as I tried so hard to move a part of my body.

"You know what it is. I told you about it. Remember that guy Jackson?" I heard Stiles ask.

"You're friend? I thought you said he was a werewolf," I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate on moving.

"He is now but he was once a Kanima. A kanima is a shapeshifter, it's similar to a lizard or snake. Kanima's have this venom in their body that can paralyze you," Deaton explained.

"Wait," A memory began to form in my head. "I've felt this before. Kind of."

"I used it on you and Stiles when you were being controlled by the nogitusune," Deaton said once more.

A brief memory popped into my head of when I was trapped in my mind. I remember being in Scott's house and what happened but there was nothing I could do. He used the clear liquid on Stiles and it paralyzed me. Though it was just my body, I could feel it happen to me too before everything disappeared and I was in eichen house, strapped down in the bed across from Scott.

"Hey, Deaton, how the hell did she get through the Mountain Ash?" Stiles asked loudly.

"I don't know. It's a barrier no supernatural creature should be able to cross."

"Scott did it," said Stiles.

"Once, but it almost killed me."

"We should have kill her!" Malia yelled angrily.

"For once I actually agree," I said.

"Meanwhile, she's probably on her way to killing someone else," muttered Stiles.

"Listen. We need to concentrate," Deaton began. "Scott, Brianna and Malia, you three will probably be able to move long before Stiles and I can. But you need to focus."

"Focus on what?" Malia panted.

"Healing," said Scott.

"I don't know how to tell my body to heal!" I exasperated.

"Brianna, calm down. Okay?" I heard Stiles say.

"I can't calm down! I can't move!" I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes.

"It won't last long. We're going to be okay," Scott said calmly. "Doc, how do we focus?"

"Think of a body part. Your hands, your feet, even just the tips of your fingers. Imagine them moving. See it in your mind and your body will follow."

I kept my eyes closed at went back to focusing on my legs like I was earlier. I imagined the feeling coming back into my toes and up my legs, over and over again.

"Okay, I'm pretty sure I just felt my left leg move," Stiles panted. I could see his leg from where I was. "Uh, yep, defiantly felt it. Like a twinge, spasm, something."

I looked at his leg. No movement.

"I'm gonna have to disagree and I think I hold an informed opinion," Deaton said, who was staring right at Stiles's legs.

I felt it. I felt my toes move.

"Malia," Scott's said.

I moved my eyes over to her and saw her fingers move.

"I don't think she cut me deep," she breathed heavily.

"Me too. I can feel my toes."

"Keep going. Both of you," Deaton encouraged.

Malia turned her arm over and pushed up off the ground. Her legs began to move as she slowly began to push herself up off the ground.

"Malia, wait for me," I said quickly, trying to get my limbs to work as fast as hers.

"What's happening? I can't see," I heard Stiles ask. "What's happening?"

She finally got up to her feet and fell forward but caught herself on the table.

Feeling rose up my legs and I was able to bend one knee. "Malia, wait for me."

"There's no time," she grunted.

"She's not a werewolf," Stiles said. I got feeling all the way up my legs and I began to stand up.

"But she has a scent. I can find her," she grunted while leaning against a table.

"Malia. Save her." Scott said.

She looked at me before darting out the doorway.

I let out a frustrated grunt as I pulled myself up. "I have to-"

It was hard to breath as I was using all my strength to stand up.

"I have to go after her. I can't stay here."

"Go," Scott nodded.

I took one last final breath before it felt like I could run. I didn't know where Malia went at first but I could smell her blood from where Tracy cut her.

I followed her fast and I finally caught up to her.

"This way come on! Her scent leads to the police station!" Malia grabbed my arm and pulled me down the road. Why we didn't take my car, I don't know.

Malia and I walked through the front door to find madness. I saw some of the deputies paralyzed on the floors and at their desks, lights were out and flickering, and someone was hurt. Bad. There was blood smeared on the floor like someone was dragged.

I saw Sheriff Stilinski laying on his back. He looked at us and whispered, "Careful."

"Malia, Brianna," someone said from beside us. Malia and I both looked at the same time, seeing Lydia lying in front of Kira with blood covering her shirt.

"Oh my gosh," My hand flew to my mouth.

"It's okay. It's not as bad as it looks. Listen, Tracy... She thinks, she thinks she's asleep. She thinks she's dreaming. It's a night terror. She's not dreaming. She's not asleep. Get her to understand," Lydia explained.

"They're in the basement!" Sheriff called out from behind us.

"They?" Malia and I asked at the same time.

"Tracy and my mother," Lydia said in pain.

"Go!" I said to Malia. "I'll help Lydia. You help Tracy and her mom." Malia took one last look at Lydia before running off.

"Okay," I rushed over to Lydia and fell onto my knees. "You're gonna have to drink my blood, it'll heal you."

Lydia nodded and I bit into my wrist. I placed her head on my lap and placed my wrist to her mouth.

I ran my fingers through her hair. "You're gonna be okay. I need to help Malia, the blood should kick in soon and you'll be okay."

"Go, I've got her," Kira nodded to me.

(a/n I don't know if I'll mention it but for future reference, Lydia is immune to Brianna's blood just like she is to Kanima venom. Like in season 2 when they thought Lydia was the kanima so Isaac and Erika got her to try kanima venom and it didn't work. That's the same thing going on here they just don't know it yet.)

I took one last look at Lydia before getting up and running towards the basement. I hesitated and quietly went down the stairs.

I could hear growling ahead, already knowing it was Malia. I saw blood on the floor so I followed it.

I was faced with Malia's back towards me. I could see Tracy standing in front of her, as if they were about to pull guns out and do a draw. Lydia's mom was on the ground behind her, knocked out cold.

I know I'm fast enough, I just have to wait for the right moment then I can get Mrs. Martin out of here safely.

Then came the moment. Tracy snarled loudly and leap towards Malia. As they began to fight I took my opportunity to get Mrs. Martin and run her upstairs somewhere safe.

When I returned to the basement, Malia had Tracy pinned to the ground with her knee against her throat.

"Malia, stop. You're hurting her," I ran to her side and tried to pull her off.

"Stop, it's working," She growled at me and pushed me away.

I watched as Tracy's eyes turned back to their normal brown color, and she was gasping for breath and no longer growling like an animal.

Malia shifted back to normal and jumped off of her. Tracy gasped for air and turned on her side, coughing and holding onto her throat.

"Tracy?" She turned around slowly and faced Malia and I. "Tracy. No, no,no. Look at me. You're okay. You're not dreaming."

She backed away in fear and used the support of the shelf behind her to stand up.

"This is real. All this is real. You get it? You get that? You're not dreaming, Tracy. "

"What..." She slowly looked up at us. "What's happening to me?"

I could see the fear in her eyes as they glossed over. I felt so bad for her. In a way I feel parallel to her. Like someway we are the same. I understand her.

Out of no where, these things came out of the darkness. They hissed and stuck a needle in Tracy's neck.

"No!" I screamed and jumped forward.

Another one came out and grabbed me by the head, knocking me down and pushing me, hard, against the stone cold floor.

"Brianna!" I heard Malia yell. I saw out of the corner of my eye as she was pushed up against the wall.

This same silvery liquid from earlier squirted from Tracy's mouth and she fell to the ground in a heap.

"No! What are you doing?" I screamed in pain as the machine looking brute pushed me down harder. Tears pooled in my eyes from the pain, but also seeing Tracy lie lifeless on the ground.

"Her condition is terminal," the same figure that stuck the needle in her neck said. Their voice wasn't like any voice I had ever heard before, it sent a cold chill running up my spine.

I felt the pressure leave from my head and the three figures leave. My body was shaking and I couldn't stop crying.

"Brianna, are you hurt?" Malia leaned down beside me and shook my body.

"N-no one was supposed to die," I sobbed. "W-what the hell were those things? Why'd they kill her?"

"I don't know," Malia placed her hand on top of mine and I could feel her trembling also.

I sniffed and wiped my eyes as I focused on her face. "A-are you okay? Did they hurt you?"

"I'm fine. Just shaken up."

Sirens sounded from the outside which confused me. Why is an ambulance coming? Who else is hurt?

I could hear footsteps running behind us. Malia grabbed my arm and pulled me up to my feet.

"It wasn't me," Malia said to Scott.

"What the hell happened to her?" Sheriff asked as him, Stiles, and Dr. Deaton appeared also.

"T-they killed her," my lip began to tremble.

Stiles looked at me concerned and grabbed my face in his hands, checking me out to see if I was hurt.

"There were these people," Malia began. I turned around and saw tears form in her eyes. "They had masks. Um, there... there were three of them. I think there were three of them."

"Wh-what are you talking about?" Stiles asked her.

"They were strong, Stiles," I said to him. "They had a weapon. Malia didn't do this. I-I don't know what happened. She was fine o-one sec-"

"Okay, okay. It's okay," Stiles wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his chest.

"She's not changing back." I heard Dr. Deaton announce loudly. "We're gonna need to get her out of here."

"What, hey. Absolutely not. This is a crime scene. We call the coroner," argued Sheriff Stilinski.

"I think the coroner might be very confused by this girl's severed reptilian tail," said Deaton.

"I don't care!"

"You should. Unless you're prepared to hold a press conference announcing the presence of supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills."

"Dad, he's right," Stiles said.

Scott spoke up, "Maybe at the clinic we can figure out how to change her back, then call the coroner?"

Sheriff began to pace back and forth, "There is a... there's a line that we have to draw."

"Dad, you've already crossed it. More than once," said Stiles.

"Sheriff, please," Deaton pleaded. "Let me help. I've dealt with things like this before. "

Sheriff shook his head, "Just do it fast."

As Scott and Deaton picked up Tracy, I turned to Stiles and asked how Lydia was doing.

"She's hurt pretty bad. There was an ambulance on it's way to pick her up," He explained while looking sadly at the ground.

"What?" Malia asked before I could.

"Tracy hurt her-"

"N-no. She's supposed to be okay. I healed her. I gave her my blood," more tears weld up in my eyes. This whole night has been so emotional. "Wh- what if--?"

"Hey, Lydia's strong. She's going to make it through this," Stiles grabbed onto my hand but I pushed him away.

"No! Why didn't it work? It's supposed to. Damon and Stefan said my blood could heal anyone, supernatural or not. I-I have to call them."

I reached into my pockets but my phone wasn't in there. I reached into the other one, and the front pockets but it wasn't there either.

"W-Where the hell is my phone?" I began to get hysterical and I couldn't help but freak out.

"Hey, calm down," Stiles wrapped his arms around me. I struggled to push him away but he only held on tighter. I finally gave in and wrapped my arms around him.

"What if she doesn't make it? No one was supposed to die, Stiles."

"Lydia's strong. Probably stronger than all of us. She's going to be fine."

***

"Hey, Stefan, it's Brianna. I've called you and Damon a couple time but neither of you have picked up. It's really important so if you could just give me a call back that would be great. Uh, bye."

That was the 3rd voicemail I've left them in the last hour. Neither of them have picked up and I don't know if I should be worried or not. I thought about calling Isaac to see if he's heard from them but I don't know why he would have.

"Still no answer?" Stiles asked me, handing me a cup of coffee. I shook my head.

"Kids," Melissa said, walking up to all of us who were waiting for news.

"How bad is it?" I asked, standing up quickly.

"Could have been worse," Melissa explained. She walked up to Theo, who apparently helped all of us tonight. "Theo, nice going on that tourniquet. You probably saved her life."

She turned back to all of us, us being me, Stiles, Liam, Scott, Malia, and Kira. "All right, she's about to go into surgery, so it's going to be a while. Any other supernatural details that I need to know about or do we just stitch her up and hope for the best?"

"She has my blood in her system so, if she dies she could come back like me," I said in disappointment.

"I don't know why it didn't work," I whispered to myself.

"It was the tail," said Kira.

"Yeah, Tracy cut her with the tail, if that makes a difference," Scott piped up.

Melissa nodded and walked off.

"But it wasn't just Tracy. There were the others. The guys in the masks," said Malia.

Stiles and Scott shared a look to each other.

"They're real."

"We believe you," Scott said nodding.

I excused myself from the group so I could call Lena and explain what happened tonight and to see if I could try and get a hold of Damon or Stefan again.

I huffed angrily when neither of them picked up and shoved my phone back into my pocket.

"Having some trouble?" Theo asked while approaching me.

I eyed him up and down suspiciously and crossed my arms over my chest, "Nothing that concerns you."

He let out a laugh and shook his head, "You remind me a lot like Stiles. No wonder you two are perfect for each other."

I blushed at the comment and hid the smile that was forming on my face.

"Well, I can't argue with that one," I relaxed a bit more and unfolded my arms. "Uh, I never thanked you for saving Lydia. She means a lot to me. I don't know what I would do without her."

"You don't need to thank me. I just did what anyone would have done," He smiled at me.

I studied his expression. From the way he smiled, to the way his eye brows moved up when he talked. I couldn't help but notice something different. Different in a good way. For a second, I forgot about the suspicion Stiles and I felt toward him. Maybe this guy isn't so bad after all. He did save Lydia's life, without any hesitation.
