Blood Island
So far, life had done Nuriel Cunningham no favors. But as she works to stay alive and uncover the island's secrets, she becomes aware of something very troubling. There is someone else on the island, someone not quite human, a creature with glowing red eyes watching her from the shadows. And though the creature seems benevolent, perhaps even friendly, Nuriel is not about to let her guard down. After all, every stranger is an enemy, and there is nothing more dangerous than the attention of another person.

Against the mage's better judgment, she allows the girl to accompany her on this most important quest, as she and her lord's Captain Commander set out in secrecy with a band of barely trained boys. What’s missing from Sorela’s company are swords with experience. That’s where the questionable travelers come into the fold… Blackwood Company is a completed short novel of approximately 42,000 words/168 pages. I will be releasing a chapter daily.

The world shall not spread its pink butt cheeks for the main character’s convenience. No character shall be thinner than one slice of white American cheese. No female character shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main character is. No villain shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main characters are. Grammar laws shall be upheld sometimes. I, the author, swear not to be a prick. I, the author, swear not to go away without warning. If other LitRPGs are like Skyrim, then this is going to be a combination of Dark Souls and Total War. Don't expect action for the sake of action. Be warned, this is a slow novel.
