"Talk to me baby," Alex said at the door. Since we had driven to his home, I had been giving him the silent treatment. I gently huffed and turned on my side of my new room. I do have to admit that it is quite spacious and the bed is big and comfy. I felt the bed dip down behind me and so I assumed that Alex had sat on my bed. "Aurora, please talk to me," he said as he tried to pull so my head was resting on his lap.

"No!" I pulled away from him. I did know that I was acting like a brat but I did not care. He made me move in with him and practically got me fired from my job.

"I'm going to work soon and I want a kiss before I go. If I don't get one I'll be sad, baby."

"I don't care," I angrily whispered.

He huffed and walked out the room lightly slamming the door. I don't understand why Alex acted to affectionate towards me. Could it be that he liked me? My thoughts were interrupted when someone opened the door. My head snapped towards the entrance and there I saw Maria.

"Maria!" I exclaimed. She walked towards me and I gave her a big hug.

"Hi," she said.

"You won't believe what Alex did to me," I complained.

"What?" She questioned as she sat on the bed with me. I explained everything that Alex had done that resulted to me being angry. "I guess he can be like that sometimes because I know that Alex likes you," she whispered the last part more to herself.

"Wait what," I said trying to figure out what she said.

"Nothing," she covered up. Just then someone had knocked on the door.

"May I enter madam," the voice said.

"Yes," I said. "And please do call me Aurora," I continued as she entered the door. She came in holding a phone in her hand and when she looked at Maria, her eyes widened in surprise. "Uhm...madam or uh Aurora, Mr. Mills would like to speak with you on the phone." She stumbled on her words saying this which left me to think what made her so nervous. Maybe Alex was being mean again.

"I don't want to speak with him," I said to her. She then said into the phone what I had said to her and she flinched as his response.

"Please do speak to him. It's important," she pushed.

"Okay fine," I said as I grabbed the phone.

"Maria, a word," the woman said making Aurora step out of the room with her. I placed the phone to my ear and and breathed in before I said hello. His deep husky voice invade my ears causing tingles to erupt all over my body.

"Baby, you wound me when you say that you don't want to speak to me," he responded.

"What do you want," I bit back.

"I just wanted to hear your voice." I remained silent. "You know I've been in a bad mood ever since you didn't want to give me a kiss this morning."

"And I've been in a bad mood since you got me kicked out of my house and dragged me to live with you." I applauded myself for this newfound confidence.

He sighed on the other line. "I understand that you're angry but please baby don't ignore me. I can't stand it when you don't want to talk to me." My god he got angry over me just ignoring him. Perhaps I should use this against him sometime. "Aurora," he called out to me.

"Okay," I breathed out. I knew I couldn't keep this ignoring act up anyway because I tend to always be a forgiving person and I always end up folding.

"I'll be back home in a bit and I need you to unblock me off your phone,"

"I'll think about it," I said.

"Don't think too much about it," he gritted out.

There was a short pause before he said "Baby, I miss you." He said it so softly in my ear it would have sounded like we were a loving couple to the people listening in.

I remained silent before saying "I miss you too," then I quickly hung up the phone. My cheeks were bright red by now. What did I just say I thought. I opened the door to my room to give the phone back to the maid and I saw Maria and the other maid talking. They spoke in hushed voices but the voices came to a halt when they saw me.

"Oh hi madam," The other maid said, "have you finished speaking to Alex?"

"Yes," I said with a smile in my face as I handed her back the phone again.

"Well I'll be going," the maid said and turned to make her way down the stairs.

Maria looked up at me and said "Well I should also get going."

"So soon," I said. I had quite enjoyed her company.

"Yes I'm sorry but I must. It was nice seeing you again,"

"Same too you," I said as I watched her turn around and make her way down the stairs. Why did it sound like she was saying goodbye though. I turned back to my room and laid down in my bed. I guess a nap could do for me.

My eyes opened up and everything was blurry until I lifted up my hand to rub my eyes. I noticed that my head was laying on something hard as my leg was slung over someone elses legs. I heard the soft snores of someone breathing beside me and I realized that it was Alex. I tried to move away from him but he grabbed my leg and held my body tighter so we were still tangled together.

"Baby, please just lay with me," he said. "I haven't seen you all day," he continued.

"How was your day," I said as I shamelessly lay my head against his bare chest.

"Would you even call it a day if I wasn't with you," he hummed out as his eyes remained closed. "How was your day," he said.

"Well I mean I was in the house all day but I got to speak with Maria," I said drawing shapes on his chest. He seems to still at the mention of her name.

"Maria" he questioned his eyes finally opening. I felt him pull me closer

"Yeah," I confirmed.

"I don't want you talking to her anymore," he said

"Why," I said confused.

"Because Aurora I'm a selfish man and I don't like people who try to take what's mine," he responded. I noticed his jaw tick when he spoke.

"What is that suppose to mean," I said as I looked up at him.

"It means to stay away from her because with her around how am I suppose to have all your love and attention?" I smiled and looked down with red tinting my cheeks. How can this big scary person act lile such a child I thought.

"Alex, I'm hungry." I looked up at him waiting for him to react. I changed the subject as I wasn't in the mood to argue. Regardless of what Alex had to say, I could talk to whoever I want.

"I've got something for you to eat," he said.

"What," I questioned. He grabbed my small hand and slowly dragged it to his crotch.

"Oh my god," I abruptly jumped up from him. A big hearty laugh left from Alex as it was amusing to him. I had just touched his stuff but why was it so big.
