Namjoon let out an exhale to release the anger built up inside of him. After reading the message Jimin sent, he knew Jimin had something very important to say in order to make a meeting with the Director all on his own. Namjoon strayed away from the screen, not daring to watch the video nor click anything else. Whatever was in that video, disturbed him completely to the point where he extracted the drive from the computer safely and held it in his hands.

"This is more than enough evidence... that man is going down tomorrow and if he dares to touch Jimin again, I wouldn't mind going to jail for manslaughter," Namjoon whispered to himself and rubbed his eyes. Trying to forget what his eyes met with that video footage from a while back.

That endless night, Jimin couldn't sleep. He remained sitting against the kitchen wall after eating a bowl of ramen Jungkook served him, but he was silent the whole time. Jungkook wanted to hug Jimin to sleep, but he knew Jimin wasn't in the mood for anything. Jimin was mentally preparing to face himself and the Director for the morning meeting, he couldn't dare to focus on anything else but the fear he was trying his best to fight off.

Jungkook laid in bed, tossing and turning with the sense of being stared at as he finally sat up and let out a sharp exhale. "I hate this room... how could Jimin live in this room before?" Jungkook asked himself before letting out a sigh. "No wonder he moved to the other one, that one is safer than this room. I always have a pair of eyes staring into my soul the second I lay here."

The more Jungkook rambled on, he came to the conclusion that he should sleep in Jimin's room instead. He knew Jimin didn't want to speak after their conversation and knew that this was different. The weight of his own words finally striking the beautiful devil was enough to make him ponder it and face himself. No longer wishing to avoid anything else now. Jungkook was glad Jimin was finally facing himself and taking his actions into consideration, but at the same time, Jungkook was worried about Jimin's current mental health during the time. Was he managing himself well? The young man recalled shouting and loud cries, but he remained locked into the room until he decided to offer Jimin a break. Yet, even with that, Jimin was silent.

Jungkook pushed himself to open the door and step out into the hallway. He didn't think Jimin would still be in the kitchen; pondering his darkest memories in the same spot he cried all day, but he was wrong. Jimin remained in that spot and the young man didn't realize it until he opened the door to Jimin's room to see that he wasn't there at all.

"Oh, Jimin..." Jungkook whispered to himself before walking out of the hall to where the kitchen space was and poking his head in from around the corner; catching a glimpse of Jimin pressing his head against the wall. Still sitting on the ground in silence.

Jimin was awake. The fears he had when it came to the Director never seemed to let him sleep every night. He would be in tears now, but the strength he developed when he thought of Jungkook, kept his eyes free of tears.

"Jimin," Jungkook's caring voice called out to the miserable man until he walked over to Jimin and crouched down. "You can still sleep next to me..." Jungkook whispered and brushed Jimin's light blond bangs to the side.

"I'm not sleepy..." Jimin whispered in return as Jungkook continued to run his fingers through Jimin's hair and speak to him softly.

"You're exhausted, come on, I'll take you to bed... but I promise nothing else will follow," Jungkook assured Jimin and continued to stare at him. "We need the energy for work tomorrow."

"I just have a meeting tomorrow, Jungkook. You can sleep in all you want..." Jimin replied as Jungkook finally sat next to the older man. Pressing his head against his shoulder and smiling to himself. "What are you doing?"

"Sleeping here with you, this floor has to be comfortable for you to stay here, right?" Jungkook asked as Jimin blushed at his words. "I missed you all day, I hope you're not breaking yourself down... that's the last thing I would want to see from you. As someone who protects you, I don't want you to harm yourself at all... please tell me you are aware of what you're doing..."

"I am..." Jimin whispered to Jungkook. With silence erupting from the two, Jungkook finally got up and looked down at Jimin.

"The floor isn't that comfortable. I'll be in your room, okay? Join me whenever you want," Jungkook offered and walked off right after. He wanted to bring Jimin into a hug and drag him to bed so they could cuddle, but that was only what the young man wanted at the time. Of course, he loved Jimin so every second, he wanted to kiss him and hug him, but he couldn't do that if Jimin didn't want the same.

Jimin watched the young man walk away within the dark penthouse until the sound of a door closed shut. This left Jimin to press his head against the wall and let out a soft sigh. Not wanting to go into the room yet. He felt as if his own love for the young man was locked away and the key was far beyond his reach. Jungkook didn't deserve to be touched by Jimin when love wasn't on his mind, Jimin wanted to be free in order to return those growing feelings he had for Jungkook, and the only way he could be free was to confront his issues with the one who made him this way.

By morning, Jimin got ready. Wearing a maroon suit with a black tie. Always knowing that if he had a meeting, he was always going to dress his best despite many thoughts pending to weigh him down. However, today was different. Jimin threw on his formal suit with determination written all over it. After yesterday, his mind was finally organized and he was more than ready to face the monster he was slowly becoming, but was glad to prevent it before he would lose himself too.

After a moment Jimin took, standing within his own room and looking over at Jungkook sleeping alone in bed, Jimin was gaining the strength he needed from the one he was beginning to love despite the fears he was ready to throw away just today.

"It's now or never. I'm doing this for me, I want to love and trust myself like I will love and trust Jungkook too," Jimin thought in his own head. Surprised that he finally came to a conclusion that he was going to put himself first for once instead of letting his own obsession stand in the way of his actions. A long time fighting away his own darkest memories that haunted him, was enough to prepare him for this moment.

After a while, Namjoon sent Jimin a text when he was in the car waiting for the young man. This left Jimin to walk towards the bed and lean over to give Jungkook a kiss over his forehead and then take a moment to look at his pillar of strength before walking out of the room and making his way out of the penthouse. Leaving Jungkook alone was something Jimin's obsessive behavior wasn't used to since he spent endless nights with Jungkook by his side. The second that it all changed and Jimin walked out of the penthouse alone, was a very brave moment for him. He no longer wanted to depend on Jungkook entirely and finally put the young man's feelings into consideration.

The second Jimin sat in the car and closed the door after, Namjoon fidgeted with the drive in his hands and dwelled further into silence until Jimin chose to start the conversation in which he normally wouldn't do towards his so-called friend. But, everything is different now.

"Namjoon," Jimin spoke up and finally turned his head to look at his friend. "Thank you for coming with me today... you don't know how important this is for me, I know you need an explanation, so I will tell you now,"

"It's nothing, Jimin! Go ahead,"

"Namjoon, I haven't been honest with you and as my friend and I know I should. I've been pushing you away to the point where I know I've made you feel bad for caring about me. I'm sorry... just know that I trust to bring you with me today. To be someone who can protect me because I know after all this time, you wanted to do that for me. You were always there for me... when I didn't want you to do that. But now, I want you to be here for me. I need you," Jimin confessed as he looked Namjoon in the eyes. "Please protect me from that monster..."

"Of course I will, Jimin! Even when you never wanted to let me in before, I never wanted to stop protecting you. I've always been fighting for you..." Namjoon replied and watched Jimin smile instantly. "I also think... this will be a great day to take that monster down..." Namjoon confessed and watched Jimin raise a brow.

"I don't think I told you anything about-"

"Jimin, out of all the meetings I've had with the Director, I picked up such a horrible feeling from him. The way that man scared you and left you in tears, I was so worried. From that day you tried to escape the weight of everything by , I couldn't help but to know something was wrong when it came to that Director. I still remember that day... you coming back I saved you that day, Jimin. So I lived in constant fear when it came to you having a meeting with that monster."

"Namjoon..."

"I care about you, you're my friend and you are loved by so many people... including Jungkook. I don't know how that boy feels towards you since I haven't spoken with him enough, but there's no way you can talk to him without picking up the love he has for you," Namjoon mentioned with a chuckle and watched Jimin blush. "So, I'll sum this up, we can end this monster's career today and make him stand down."

"Do you... really think so? Joo-won isn't a weak man, Namjoon. In order to make this man stop, you have to use something against him or hurt him in a way that he-"

Jimin was instantly silenced as Namjoon raised up the flash drive within his clutches and smiled at Jimin. Deepening the dimples on his charming face.

"Way ahead of you. I planned this out a while back. After listening to the many things this man said in the meetings before when it came to you, I wanted to make sure he doesn't get the chance to make you cry again. So, I talked to my ex; Seokjin... and he gave me this great idea. This drive contains enough security footage from his office in order to keep him off the industry for good."

"Security footage... but then " Jimin thought and looked at the drive with his eyes tearing up.

Now, he understood that Namjoon knew so much about what Jimin was hiding all along, but here Namjoon sat, not running away nor using it against Jimin to make him helpless. Namjoon stood by his side in this plan and that left Jimin to finally come to the conclusion that there is no way Jungkook would leave him after knowing too. Namjoon was a living proof of what Jimin doubted; he wasn't going to lose a soul when it came to the trauma he endured since Namjoon stayed when the young man thought he would run.

". I couldn't bear to watch it... but what I will say is, you are a strong man, Park Jimin. You are the strongest person I know to go face to face with ," Namjoon assured and leaned in to hug Jimin. "Now, let's take that monster down for once and for all."
