The manager longed to smile. He longed to deepen the dimples over his cheeks, and smile knowing that the Director's reign of terror will finally come to an end. Namjoon even managed to hold back any emotions; holding a blank face once he continued to listen rather than going back and forth with the older man like he usually would.

"I... I apologize," whispered the director under his own breath before letting out a sigh. He rubbed his eyes carefully, and covered his face right after with his trembling hands. "I get so aggressive when I haven't had much sleep..."

"Boss, all I can say is, learn to differentiate work from personal business. That's the best advice I can tell you as of right now," proclaimed Namjoon, "because it's not fair to Jimin that you long to get back at him by throwing all the work over his head. Hoping that he would crack under all this pressure for an act of revenge. It's not a good look at all."

"Namjoon, you would never understand..."

"That I would never, but for once, think about being human for once," the manager concluded. Standing up from his chair, and looking down at the Director from his seat. He could count the endless hours he has been awake, and only hoped that he would suffer now. In Namjoon's heart, he cared for all, but didn't towards people with bad intentions towards innocent souls. That's when he found out that Joo-won didn't love Jimin enough to hold off his jealousy, and his thirst for revenge. Sure, he did love him, but his love was far more different to the actual meaning of love. His definition was far more twisted than Namjoon had hoped.

"Jimin's first photoshoot with that photographer is coming up in a matter of days or a week depending on when it's scheduled. That's the only big event in Jimin's work as of right now, you should join us for the shoot," he suggested. Even if Namjoon knew he didn't want Jimin to get anxious on the set because of the Director being present, he knew that this was the only way he could pull the Director out of the office in order to sneak the footage out behind his back.

"I'll think about it," replied the exhausted man. Watching Namjoon keep a blank stare as he bowed, and then walked away. Not managing to catch onto any suspicious behavior from Namjoon at all. Just as the young man planned.

A few hours later, Jungkook still remained hugging Jimin over the bed. His arm was wrapped around Jimin's small frame while the other caressed his light blond hair so tenderly. In his arms, Jimin was safe enough he could finally rest in his own room without crying at all. This was the escape Jimin wanted from Jungkook all along. Something that could distract him and make him happy when the world outside was crumbling down. For Jimin, he was at ease from the gentle embrace Jungkook gave him as they laid in bed to rest in each other's arms for once without having sex. This was the first time they laid in each other's arms to listen to their gentle breathing and easy heartbeats matching in sync. Nothing more.

"Jimin," Jungkook whispered, "are you awake?"

"Mh...mhm..."

"Jimin, what... exactly am I protecting you from?" Jungkook asked curiously. Running his hand through Jimin's hair, and exposing Jimin's forehead before he could lean in and kiss him there. "Is it a scary monster?~"

"Yes," Jimin answered with no context, no other word, and no other sound to assist Jungkook's question. "You are... protecting me from the world, including myself," Jimin continued and assured the young man. The way he closed off his sentence was a sign for the conversation to end here, so Jungkook knew he couldn't be greedy with the limited words he was given when he knew Jimin was opening up to him slowly. These small answers were enough to suffice Jungkook's concerns.

"Then, I'll protect you with my all..." Jungkook whispered before giving Jimin a kiss over his head.

Jimin blushed again at the sensation before he could quickly change the topic. However, nothing could help him escape from the way he smiled at Jungkook's words that were perfectly sculpted in his daring mind. "Jungkook, we've been here for a while now, I know a good diner we can go to for lunch."

"I don't even think I ate breakfast..." Jungkook thought to himself before letting out a chuckle, and then looking down at Jimin in his arms. "Where is that?"

"Not far from here, but it's a very expensive place, so I'll pay for it all! As long as you come with me, I wouldn't mind. Let's go out together~" Jimin found it easy to distract himself from what was going on in order to become happy, but no matter what he did, it was going to follow him until he stumbled upon it again like any other day. This was the downside of holding things in; they manage to find their way around his mind and stop him at any time of the day.

"I'm sure I could handle paying for my own meal," Jungkook assured but watched as Jimin sat over the young man and caged him under. Causing Jungkook to laugh and cup Jimin's face for getting his attention so abruptly. "We could go out, or we can stay here to avoid the risk of getting caught..."

"Why won't you let me treat you?" Jimin asked, running his hand up Jungkook's chest and carefully gliding it up and down over his torso. Caressing the young man over his body. It was the way Jimin softened his voice and spoke with his hands caressing the one underneath him that left Jungkook to blush and lose his train of thought. "I know you're capable, but let me take care of you... you already do so much for me~"

"Jimin, a-are you trying to spoil me?"

"What's wrong with that? You only think of the negative definitions of words, do you?" Jimin whispered, "let me... I want to. We can go out now and make dinner together later," Jimin then kissed Jungkook against his neck and began to smile to himself. "Just say yes to me..."

"Fine, but just know that this will be the only time you get to take me out and pay for everything. Knowing that I have money, I feel guilty letting another pay for me," Jungkook mentioned. Watching Jimin pull away from peppering soft kisses against his neck.

"Ah, no wonder you oppose the roses so much... accept them as gifts, Jungkook, and take this as a gift too~" Jimin spoke to the man underneath him in careful and soft tones to his voice when he wanted Jungkook to agree with him. Even if the young man wasn't into the idea of letting Jimin spoil him, he didn't want to say no to the beautiful man since he knew it has been a tough day for him already.

Jungkook was always the type that would be independent given how hard he worked on his own studio, so every time Jimin longed to give him something or treat him, it would always make Jungkook feel bad inside because of the expensive lengths Jimin would go to do so. Jimin filled Jungkook's apartment with roses weekly, paid him back for the love hotel room, and was now going to take him out to an expensive diner just for lunch. Something not many would spend so much on, but Jimin would just for his happiness.

Once the two were already sitting together in the car, Jimin didn't long to sit by the window he would normally press his head against. He was now clinging onto Jungkook by resting his head on his shoulder along the ride. Leaving Jungkook to lay the side of his head against Jimin's head. To him, he absolutely adored the feeling of being this close to Jimin. He was so important to the charming little devil, that he didn't notice the ways that Jimin kept him wrapped around his finger.

"On our way back, we can stop by your place so you can bring all of your clothes!" Jimin continued to bring up the idea of Jungkook staying with him now. "I wouldn't want you to run out of clothes so soon..."

Jungkook then looked down to see Jimin looking into his eyes with the most innocent stare that Jungkook knew this was a way of Jimin trying to get him to agree once again. The young man then messed the light blonde hair over his head and tilted his head.

"I won't. I will get them in time, Jimin. Don't worry, I'm not leaving you anytime soon..." Jungkook replied and hoped to assure Jimin's fear. The young man was becoming curious as to the way Jimin longed to rush him in getting his clothes in order to stay with him longer. It was as if the young man sensed that Jimin feared letting him go and that was enough to make Jungkook worry about Jimin more than before.

It was no secret that behind his patience for Jimin, there were so many questions and concerns he had towards the little devil. Each time Jimin would avoid something, Jungkook would think about it more and try connecting many pieces together. Just like earlier today when Jimin cried in his arms, Jungkook had the sense that Jimin no longer wanted to be alone with himself. Having Jungkook here by his side was enough to make Jimin feel happy despite the many days he would avoid speaking to anyone. Jungkook was now beginning to believe that Park Jimin relied on him for happiness and protection.

On the other hand, there were many things that made the young man wonder. Was Jimin developing the same feelings as well? Jungkook wanted to believe so. He was beginning to love Jimin for every imperfection he possessed and truly longed to be there for him when no one else would. Jungkook was in love now and only hoped that it wasn't only one sided. When in reality, love was something Jimin was trying so hard to avoid before but now, was finding it difficult to prevent when it came to Jungkook.

Jimin sat across from the young man in a secluded spot in the luxurious dining place fit for celebrities. It was closed off on a second floor like a private room for the two. The whole time they enjoyed each other's presence while eating together, they talked about anything far from the subjects Jimin avoided. Giving him ease with the man who promised to protect him from the world.

Jimin looked down at the table after eating as he listened to Jungkook speak about his own family he cared about. At this point, every word Jungkook spoke became different within Jimin. He slowly brought his ethereal gaze up to the young man as he smiled at every sentence. Causing butterflies to flutter around in Jimin's stomach.

"... please..." Jimin thought; keeping a charming smile at Jungkook the whole time he spoke about working very hard like his family. Jungkook was very humble to be dining at such a luxurious place, it was only a reminder for him to keep working hard to get to a place in life where coming here wouldn't be rare. "I don't want to go through this -"

"Jimin?"

"Y-Yes?" Jimin snapped out of his dark thoughts and sat up within a second to see the young man was already blushing at the way Jimin gazed with such a beautiful smile that made him stutter.

"A-Aside from my passions, when will we... have...have our first shoot together? I will need to know when I should bring my equipment-"

"Oh- No, that won't be necessary. I have already purchased many things for you the week before so you wouldn't need to go back to your studio to get a thing!" Jimin mentioned happily. Resting his head over his hand once his elbow was planted against the table. "Another surprise gift~"

"Jimin, you didn't have to do that," Jungkook mentioned with a nervous chuckle once Jimin stood up and walked over to his direction. Already knowing how to silence Jungkook when he became guilty for something he didn't ask for. "I already have my equipment, so there's no need to spoil me any further! At least let me repay you the right amou-"

"Shh... you won't need to repay me in any amount. You already know what to do, so you can repay me in the way I want it most," Jimin's words left Jungkook blushing. In fact, Jimin already knew the way Jungkook felt towards being spoiled, so he tried to distract him from his original thoughts with such tempting words. "We should go back to my place as soon as possible. Instead of me treating you like this, why don't you just spoil me in return instead?~ only then I won't do it again if I learn my lesson..."

Suddenly, Jimin began to notice the sudden blushes on the young man's face the moment he ran his hands up Jungkook's shoulders. The way Jungkook just couldn't stop blushing even before Jimin began to tease, and then becoming speechless when Jimin would tempt him, left the older to realize that something was there. Jungkook's feelings began to display and since the young man didn't do a great job at hiding it before, Jimin was no stranger to all the signs and froze up the second he finally caught on. Jeon Jungkook was already in love with Park Jimin and that was something Jimin couldn't prevent.
