Jimin didn't add onto what Jungkook said. He wanted Jungkook to stay and protect him from the Director in many ways. He wanted Jungkook to protect him by guiding his mind into the positive dimension he longed to find while also keeping him safe from the Director. Jimin knew Jungkook was his happy escape, but with such a great thing in his life, Jimin had the knack to focus on the fears that followed after.

"He sounds like him... he's drying my tears like him and saying all the right words. Is Jungkook caring for me or is he planning to hurt me too?" Jimin thought before he quickly shook away the thoughts. "He's my happiness... my escape from everything... If he's going to hurt me, he would hurt me now given how vulnerable I've been towards him. Fuck... why did I let him in?!" Jimin continued to fill his mind with endless memories and conversations. Muting the sounds of the outside world to mend his own issues since he knew he couldn't tell Jungkook at all. He refrained from letting the young man know in order to avoid being abandoned or even manipulated.

"Jimin..." Jungkook spoke calmly. Running his hand along Jimin's neck and leaning in until the tip of his nose pressed against Jimin's. All he had for the man was endless love that was waiting to pour, but he knew he couldn't give Jimin all of it at once and confess. There were things he didn't understand but for once, Jungkook agreed with patience and longed to hold onto his love and slowly show it to Jimin the best way he could. The one that was strong for the other, understood that Jimin needed someone to protect him for now. Even if Jungkook didn't know who or what he was protecting Jimin from, he didn't ask further questions and went into the quest blindly.

"Jungkook, oh Jungkook... Can you sleep with me for the night?" Jimin asked, running his hands up Jungkook's back and hooking it around the nape of his neck. "Protect me in your arms as I sleep..."

"Of course, anything for you," Jungkook whispered and kissed Jimin's cheek softly. "Jimin, if... you need me to sleep with you in this room every night... I will."

"Does that mean you will stay with me and not leave me after you're done working here?" Jimin asked and looked up at the young man. Wanting to hear what he wanted, Jungkook only tilted his head. "I don't want this to be temporary too..."

"Jimin, I will stay for you, but just know that I have my life as well. If I'm going to see you halfway, you have to meet me there too..." Jungkook assured and pressed his forehead against Jimin's listening to his shaky breathing. "We will figure something out."

"I wish temporary was another word for an eternity..." Jimin whispered into Jungkook's ear. Their breathing echoed along the room that seemed too big for when Jimin was alone, now it was a perfect size for two.

"Jimin..." Jungkook whispered. Loving the way Jimin's name rolled off his tongue the more he said it followed by silence. "You said you cleared up your schedule for the day, is that right?"

"Yes... weirdly, there's not much for me to do today..." Jimin whispered, looking at the way Jungkook looked into his eyes and smiled to himself. "What are you thinking about?"

"You," Jungkook whispered and kissed Jimin more and continued to speak softly against his lips. "Jimin, let me steer your mind away from this for a moment, let me protect you from the wrongs and let me lay here with you in my arms, will you let me?" Jungkook asked. Wanting to hold onto Jimin would in hopes of protecting him from any remaining thoughts. Only this time, it was Jungkook protecting him and his reason wasn't to run away like Jimin and use him as an escape, he wanted to show Jimin his care and love when he knew it was just too soon to say it. The best thing he could do was show it and make Jimin feel more cared for in his arms.

Jimin's eyes looked up at the young man as his gaze glistened at the way Jungkook said those words. He blushed and instantly tried to suppress those emotions he longed to stray away from; fearing that they were broken along with himself, but to feel the comfort of the other above him, was something Jimin didn't know he craved too. With Jungkook, he longed for many things surrounding the happiness he only wanted to gain from him, but the security and care was something Jimin didn't know that came along with the young man who gave him so much when he was rich enough to own anything in the world.

Even when his words sounded so similar to his past, Jimin dried his own tears and didn't want to think of it more. He couldn't risk saying anything because at the end of the day, no amount of kisses or hugs would be enough to rebuild his trust or his love in others... Or so he thought.

During the same hour Jimin spent with Jungkook, Namjoon glanced over at the time on the golden watch sitting over his wrist as he walked down the endless hallway to his weekly meeting with the Director. After a drink at the club and talking to Seokjin about it, he was now aware of what he had to do. However, he wasn't so hopeful of getting all the work done in one day. He just needed to know where most things were and had to plan accordingly.

"This is dangerous... I need to make sure I plan so well that I don't get caught. If I get caught... I will lose my job, I can't make any mistakes," he told himself; glancing up at the double doors ahead where he longed to run from, but he recalled the thought of Jimin and knew that this was all for his freedom.

Namjoon made sure he approached the door no minute later than his expected time. Once the clock struck the minute before the meeting, he knocked and opened the doors. Within seconds, he stepped in to see that the Director was there, staring into his laptop with a plain and empty stare.

Namjoon could stand there and pinpoint the moment he noticed that the Director seemed different. He sat over his chair with a glare fixed over his laptop screen; not even bothering to fix his posture nor his glasses that were sitting at the bottom of his nose. The Director had bags under his eyes as he kept staring at his screen, causing Namjoon to become curious as to what he was looking at.

"Good morning, Boss..." Namjoon called out and bowed even when he didn't want to. He looked up to see that the man didn't even look in his direction. "Are you alright?"

Instantly, the older man flinched and quickly sat up before running his hair back and fixing the round glasses over his high nose bridge. Hiding most of the scar on his face with his glasses, but Namjoon could still see it no matter what he did to cover it with any accessories.

"Of course I am. I forgot you were coming for the weekly meeting concerning the angel's career," The Director spoke with weight on his shoulders the moment he mentioned Jimin. "I bet that photographer is here too..."

"Yes, Jimin just went to pick him up from his place. He will be living in the spare room in his-"

"Penthouse...I'm well aware of how the structure looks, I bought that place for Jimin," The Director mentioned and quickly got up right after.

In a moment where he stood up, he yawned with the lack of sleep weighing in his eyes. Sung Joo-won dreaded this day and lost sleep because of it. As he stood up, he walked over to the same windows Jimin would stare out of in tears and looked out of them. All while Namjoon's eyes latched onto the camera recording his every move at the upper corner of the room.

Namjoon knew he couldn't make this too obvious, so he took a second to look at the direction of the camera and dropped his stare on the ground. Beginning to note that the laptop seemed to carry the footage he needed in order to take the Director down and save Jimin, but it was going to be far more difficult than he expected.

"I bought that place for my angel..." The man whispered again and continued to look out his window as he became lost in his own thoughts. Until, his eyes weighed in closed as he quickly blinked and turned around to see Namjoon sitting there in silence. "I apologize, I haven't had much sleep. Let's get started."

Namjoon only nodded his head and watched the man walk over to the chair he was bound to in the early morning and sit down. Making the uneasy tension worse the more he glared into his laptop at times. Causing Namjoon to grow curious as to what he was looking at.

"So... I noticed that Jimin's schedule was finally cleared. Not much, but it's a big difference compared to last week. Is he going to get a vacation soon?" Asked Namjoon as the director only shook his head slightly. Continuing to stare at his laptop.

In that second, Namjoon looked deeply into the glasses that carried a reflection of the screen in front of the Director and caught onto . Was it the footage for the cameras? Namjoon was desperate to find out, but he knew he couldn't afford to make any mistakes and risk the man knowing everything.

"I just wanted to clear up my angel's schedule for the photographer. Since he will be in charge of that boy, I wouldn't want Jimin to grow overwhelmed with many things," The Director mentioned and finally looked up at Namjoon. "After all, he is only human..."

"That's a good decision. I'm sure it came with its sacrifices," Namjoon replied. "I don't think I could ever recall the day you pulled work out of Jimin's schedule..."

"I did it once before you began to work here. Even then he didn't have twice the work he has now. But I only hope he doesn't get too comfortable with that idea, next week will only carry more work... this is for his own good."

"Boss... this may be a little too personal and out of the conversation, but what do you gain out of giving him so much work? You are planning to knock out most of it this week, but resume the workload for the next? If you could relieve him of his work now, why not keep it that way?"

"Because... I don't want him to get too comfortable with the idea of being lazy. It's enough that I gave him that photographer, I don't plan on spoiling him any further. I gave that boy everything he could ever want. Park Jimin always manages to work his way around me and I give in like a fool because I can't contain myself..." The Director whispered and looked away from the screen before closing the laptop right after. "But no matter what he does, and I can't hurt him anymore. The best I could do for him is ensure his career...and make sure... he doesn't go running to another."

"Boss, I get that the both of you had something, but don't you think you should leave the past relationship out of work? You say you won't hurt him but here you are, pending a load of work to drop over his shoulders when he-"

Instantly, the Director slammed his hand onto the desk and leaned over. Deepening his angry glare at the manager and letting a scoff escape from his own lips. "What do you know? You're just his manager... not his friend and you just got the knowledge of the relationship I had with him. You wouldn't understand and you will never understand it... you will never understand the way I feel towards him and you will never understand "

Namjoon stared at the man and thought of the camera and audio that came with it. Recording every word he said concerning the man dropping so much work over Jimin's head because of his personal relationship with Jimin. Joo-won was gaining satisfaction from making Jimin suffer with the amount of work he was given and it made Namjoon want to scream with his own blood boiling within himself.

However, Namjoon knew how to play the man's game and focused on making him talk while the camera was recording everything. He avoided looking at the camera since he knew Joo-won was very aware and intelligent in this game, so any slip up could result in the plan to be ruined in seconds. So, Namjoon only sat in silence; spending time wisely and listening to the director's words before nodding his head. Playing out that nothing filled his mind at all through the lack of emotions on his own face. That's how the Director failed to catch on to Namjoon's plan.
