Jimin was numb to feeling things that would normally scare him. He didn't want to see the Director but at the end of the day, the man he feared, was the one who directed and called all the shots to the model's career. In order to have Jungkook work with him as his photographer, Jimin had no other choice but to face the Director and let him know about it.

Within the car ride there, Jimin sat silently. His medications made it difficult for him to grow anxious, but also made it difficult for him to feel like himself. It was as if his soul was sucked out of his own body and fake smiles were easier to make despite the pain he would still have wandering around in his mind. Park Jimin sat in the backseats of the car with Namjoon and pressed his head against the window; sighing and catching the older man's attention almost instantly.

"Jimin..." Namjoon called out to the young man in a delicate whisper as he looked off to the side where Jimin sat. "Jimin, you don't... have to do this... there are many great photographers of yours," the manager whispered, not really thinking much of how badly Jimin wanted to work with Jungkook in order to see him often.

"I have to and I need to... I don't want any other photographer..." Jimin replied. His eyes latched onto Namjoon's soul with a blank stare that left him concerned. "I want him..."

"If... that's what you want, I... I can't change your mind, but please... if there's anything you want me to do, I'll always be here to help." The manager wasn't on the nose of how he speculated the hatred Jimin had towards the Director. He only wanted to offer many ways to relieve the stress off of the beautiful man before he would face the Director alone.

"I know..." Jimin closed off the conversation and gazed out the window once again. Wanting to escape far, but the door he sat next to was always set on child lock. He had no escape even when the car was parked and it was safe for him to step out of the vehicle.

The plentiful minutes that gave him time to mentally prepare himself before the meeting, went away with a snap of a finger. Jimin sat in one of the waiting chairs in the long hallway leading up to the office with Namjoon until it was time for him to step in and face the toughest part of his life. Jimin contemplated on actually pulling through with this, but the moment his mind touched on the memory of the endless raw smiles he received from Jungkook, Jimin knew he had to fight for something he needed in his life. The way Jimin depended on Jungkook to an extent, was what made him confident to face the man in the office once it was time. His medications amplified the idea of Jungkook as the positive thought that always kept him going.

His ears rang the whole time he waited. His mind tuned Namjoon's voice out as his own silence was the noise filling his ears until he knew it was time. Jimin knocked first and stepped in once he faced those hellish doors. Not even sure if his medications would be able to hold back the amount of emotional pain pending to be released the moment he would look up at the Director in his deadly stare and the scar over his pale face. The scar Jimin caused to the man so long ago.

Jimin stepped in. Holding his breath and keeping his eyes locked onto the ground the moment the door behind him closed. His eyes had no other choice but to look up to see where the older man stood... Yet, it was such a difficult thing to do, he froze in one place and didn't want to move his head at the curiosity of where the Director stood.

The Director sat at his chair like always, looking through the many pictures of Jimin from his recent photoshoots in order to find a difference. He was still looking for the odd one out that made Jimin happy and couldn't recall even taking a break. That's how invested and obsessed he became in the situation and his habits only worsened when Jimin was gone the whole day before. Through his endless investigation, he finally looked up, not realizing Jimin was already standing there since he was as silent as a mouse. Within seconds, he stood up and let out a relieved exhale that made Jimin grip onto the fabric of his own dress pants.

"Jimin!" The man spoke out in relief before a smile appeared over his face. "I'm so glad to see you! When you went missing the whole day yesterday, I couldn't help but to worry all morning," The Director spoke into a sweet tone to his eerie voice and made Jimin feel even more uncomfortable. Of course, he knew him too well to even believe it for more than a second. "Please... sit down, we have much to speak about!"

Jimin was silent the whole time he pushed himself forward to sit down. It was the same chair he sat in the last time he was there in the office and that made him uneasy the whole time. Just the mere thought of how the Director held him against this chair like a caged bird as he looked out the windows in tears; begging for freedom, left him longing to run. But he just couldn't. The Director knew how to make Jimin come back to his office and this was it. This was the trap the twisted man knew a free bird like Jimin would always run into if he played his cards right.

"I was so glad to see that you requested a meeting with me... did I finally win? Are you going to fight and rebel against me again or are you going to comply with every demand that I ask for once? Seeing you here, wanting to talk business with me... reminds me of the perfect memories we shared..." He continued as Jimin couldn't dare to look him in the eyes nor speak. Alas, the miserable idol was avoiding the darkest memories in his mind by only thinking of Jungkook. "Jimin... are you okay?"

"I didn't... I didn't come here to argue, nor scream, nor cry... I just want to do business," Jimin whispered with the rasp in his voice weighing his words down and emphasizing on the horrible state he was in by just being in a room all alone with the man.

Abruptly, the Director's stare deepened over Jimin's as he removed his own round glasses in frustration. "I-" he cut off his own words right after and let out an exhale. Knocking off the cold glare he had over Jimin once again and tilting his head to make a warming smile. "My angel, let's not talk like we're professional for once, let's just talk about business but in a way we both used to do it," He whispered and watched Jimin shake his head slowly. "It's easy, don't you remember? We would sit next to each other, share a cup of coffee and go for hours talking about the many things concerning business. I don't want to keep this atmosphere between us any longer so-"

"I'm not... I'm not going to speak to you in that way... you said this is the only way I could handle business with you, so take it as it is..." Jimin retorted and gripped onto the cushion of the chair he sat in. "I want to be on my way after this, my schedule is full for the day... so please respect my time."

"Fine..." The man replied before he remained standing and loosening his tie. "Let's try this again..."

His footsteps approached Jimin until he sat on the chair right next to him and placed his arm over the backside of where he sat. Keeping his stare at the man and smiling to himself. "Talk to me, angel~"

Jimin was silent once more. In some ways, his medication didn't seem to be doing the trick in hiding his pain. Jimin was frozen in one place and refused to move a muscle nor inhale the cologne the Director always wore. Jimin closed his eyes tightly and turned his head away before feeling like he could breathe the moment his face was away from the man's view.

"I want to make this quick..."

"I'm listening..."

"I won't need any photographers on queue anymore, I have found my own personal photographer. One that works very hard and is very talented," Jimin mentioned and felt as if his breathing was limited at every word he spoke. Jimin knew where the man was staring when he looked at the model and caused the hairs on Jimin's skin to stand every second it doubled.

"A , you say?" The man asked and sat up from his chair to lean in and continue to watch Jimin. Keeping his eerie smile towards the young man sitting on the chair beside him. He planted his hands on the armrests of the chair and continued to observe every feature Jimin possessed the more he awaited an answer. "Keep going..."

"I will arrange a living space for the photographer, I will take full responsibility for that photographer and it will be his job to take all of my photos," Jimin continued on and felt as if he didn't want to continue talking further. He was already getting chills from standing by the man. Even if he couldn't cry much on his medication, his mind shifted into the thought of Jungkook to ease him and avoid the fact that the Director was sitting right beside him.

"This photographer... What's his name? I bet his work must be amazing for you to get rid of the others in order to have just him."

"His name... his name is ..." Jimin confessed. He didn't want to say a word about it, but he knew he couldn't hide something from the Director when this was very vital in order to have Jungkook by his side. "He is from The Golden Closet Studios...and his work is absolute perfection."

At that very moment, the Director smiled and let out a scoff. Pressing his back against the chair and staring at Jimin. Not even daring to take a break and look away to give Jimin the sense of ease now.

"Jeon Jungkook..." The man said to himself before he finally got up and stood in front of Jimin. "The head photographer from that same studio you returned to twice... am I correct?"

"Yes," Jimin whispered and continued to look away. Intertwining his own hands with each other and clinging onto the idea of Jungkook. At this point, no tears dared to race down his face and even when he would normally be anxious and afraid, Jimin managed to keep himself together with the young photographer on his mind every second.

"Look at me..." The Director demanded in a chilling whisper but, Jimin shook his head abruptly. Just then, the older man furrowed his brows in frustration towards Jimin as his eyes began to gleam with tears pending to fall. "My angel, look at me..."

"No..."

"I SAID LOOK AT ME!" He shouted. Causing Jimin to flinch until the man forcibly pointed Jimin's chin towards his direction. Forcing the miserable young man to look him in his teary stares.

Jimin glared at the man as he noticed tears running down the Director's eyes as he gathered up his own thoughts on what to say next. However, Jimin couldn't dare to say anything now. He was too scared as his memories of a similar moment just like this, haunted him when he looked the older man right in his eyes. He was speechless and overwhelmed like before.

"Tell me... tell me that man doesn't make you smile..." The Director hissed and felt Jimin try his best to pull his hands away, but the man quickly held Jimin's hands together by the wrist with just one hand and kept them in place. Just to avoid Jimin kicking him, he also pressed his knee over Jimin's upper thigh and pushed down on it just so his leg could extend over the other and keep it down against the chair. Now, the helpless young man couldn't escape no matter how many times he looked out that window hoping to be set free. Jimin was nothing but a caged bird to the Director now.
