《The Devil I Love | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 20: We Meet Again

The car finally came to a stop as Jungkook unlocked the door to the passenger seat. Within seconds, the door was pulled open and there stood Taehyung with a big smile over his face.
"Jungkook, I'm so glad you actually showed up and didn't lie to me at all!" Taehyung mentioned and got in the car, adjusting the sleeves to the black sweatshirt he wore. He then glanced down at the color of his own shirt and looked over at his boss within seconds. "We're matching like a couple tonight~"
"Like a couple, huh? I bet once we get there you'll disappear from my side," Jungkook replied and joked along. "I want to break up, Taehyung."
"But... Jungkook... we're endgame..." Taehyung said into a soft voice. Leaving Jungkook to laugh as he began to drive. "Speaking of couples, how's Jimin?~"
"Quit it, I don't see him that way... it's too soon for that."
"Too soon? Didn't seem too soon when you guys decided to skip the kissing and jumped straight into fu-"
"We were just lonely at the moment. Everyone feels lonely every now and then, you know what I mean, right? Anyway... I haven't talked to Jimin since yesterday. We talk on the phone every night."
"But what about tonight? Did you text him not to call since you'll be out clubbing?"
"No... no I didn't, I just don't think I need to. He hasn't answered any of my calls so I assume he's busy or just sleeping... but if anything, I can always answer his calls in the bathroom or just text him later. Not like I had any plans on drinking tonight."
"I promise, Jungkook. I will devote myself to getting that driver's license just so you can drink a lot too!"
Instantly, Jungkook thought about the last time he got drunk which caused him to shudder in disgust and embarrassment right after. "You know, maybe it is for the best. Getting drunk is something I don't want others to see. I'm not a very calm person "
"Ah, that doesn't matter! No one is," Taehyung then stopped the conversation there for the moment before he brought up the next. "I see you've been talking to Jimin a lot! That's great, does he trust you with some idol secrets yet? Or is that too soon...? I've been wanting to hear about it for a while now."
"Well, about that... we never really get to that sort of conversation. We don't know each other that well. I'm not sure if he has plans on telling me since we just met! So, those aren't part of the conversation but I will say this, Jimin has a tendency to go silent and his face would turn dull the moment I mention anything about his job. However, he would say he gets everything he could ever ask for in there... but why does that sound a bit off to me?"
"That is very concerning..."
"It's up to him if he wants to tell me. At the moment, we aren't so close for any of that so it doesn't bother me," Jungkook confirmed. "But I do enjoy talking to him every night... maybe I should call him before I go in the club and-" just before he could talk further about Jimin, Taehyung stopped him so abruptly.

"Handle that tomorrow! We have a night of fun. You don't want to be held back wondering if Jimin will call. It's not mandatory!" Taehyung laughed and looked at the young man. "You can handle those thoughts when you are far from the club. Let's have some fun!"
"And by that you mean I'll have to do anything but drink~" Jungkook joked along. Throughout the ride, they spoke about many things other than work and the young photographer's interests. Their conversation ranged from favorite drinks to even weirdest dating stories; in which, Jungkook didn't have much to share.
Eventually, they reached the club after being let in at the entrance. Skipping the line since Taehyung knew the bartender there very well. So, the two walked in and almost instantly, lights flashed and blinded Jungkook, suddenly causing him to lose Taehyung in the crowd. It was as if the moment he stepped in with the older, he disappeared in seconds and was already at the bar to meet with his friend that worked there. Jungkook hesitated in drinking for the night and only longed to cling onto Taehyung since he hadn't really been to a club before.
The music was loud and he could see many crowding the dance floor. He was nervous to be here and expected himself to let loose, but he didn't at all. He was so used to working hard, coming to a club to forget everything that stressed him out just didn't seem like a possible thing. He walked up to the bar section and sat down before bringing out his phone and checking the time and notifications, but still nothing from Jimin. No missed calls or texts at all.
"I need to stop acting like he isn't busy! He will see that I called him in the morning. There, he will call me back. I have nothing to get worried about. Jimin is fine and it's okay if he doesn't call me tonight," Jungkook mentioned in his head before looking up from his phone. Almost instantly, Taehyung snatched his phone away and shook his head.
"Have fun! Don't worry about him, I will let you know if your phone rings!" Taehyung told the younger one and watched Jungkook let out an exhale and nod his head. "Kim Seokjin! Give me the strongest one you have. I want to wake up next week!"
"Oh, Taehyung you said that last week!" A handsome man by the name of Kim Seokjin mentioned as he wore an all black apparel from the black dress shirt all the way to the classy shoes he strutted in every time he would walk to a section from behind the bar. "You need to get home this time and I won't drive you!"
"You see this wonderful young man right here? He will drive me home! So hit me..." Taehyung demanded. Seokjin then laughed and looked over at Jungkook.
"Alright, what can I get for you? Nothing too strong?" Seokjin asked as Jungkook only nodded his head.
"Sounds great, thank you! How much-"
"On the house, Taehyung is a good friend and any friend of his is a friend of mine!" Seokjin mentioned and rolled his light brown hair back. "Alas, it would be too expensive. Drinks cost extra if they're served with my beautiful looks and good jokes."

"Give us a joke, Seokjin!" Taehyung shouted excitedly.
"Alright, what does the duck say to the bartender when he orders a drink?" Seokjin asked as Jungkook raised his shoulders. Not knowing what else to say.
"I don't give a qua-"
"No! Put it on my bill!" Seokjin said and laughed at his own joke while Taehyung smiled and looked at Jungkook right after. Expecting him to laugh but Jungkook only raised a brow. "Laugh or you'll pay full price."
Instantly Jungkook gave a forced laugh as Seokjin only poured the drinks and handed it to them in the house. Jungkook wanted to stick to someone for the rest of the night, but he knew Taehyung would either be at the dance floor or talking to the man at the bar. Jungkook just sat at the bar and wondered what to do after this drink.
"Jungkook!" Taehyung spoke up above the loud music and leaned in after chugging the strong drink in a second. "Let's go dance!"
"Ah, I'll watch you from here, I'll sit this one out," Jungkook mentioned as Taehyung only blew raspberries at him and got up to join the crowd.
Even if Jungkook didn't have it in him to dance, he looked around the bright lights that flashed in the bar and managed to empty his mind at the moment. The music was loud and the moment was still for him. Although he was only sitting down, he began to take joy in looking around and seeing Taehyung dance with many people. There he sat at the bar drinking out of his glass and having a cup of water right by it just to fight off getting a little dehydrated. With this, he supposed going to the bathroom would be better than sitting around and watching people dance.
"Oh woe is me... I didn't think clubs were this boring..." called out a voice next to him and finally called for his attention to be brought to Namjoon taking a seat right next to him. "Boring clubs, but interesting people... I bet that's what you're thinking, hm?"
"Small world, isn't it? It's so great to see you here, Namjoon," Jungkook brightened up at the sight of Jimin's manager before he turned to face him.
"Well it is an expensive club and very well known. You're clubbing at such a great place," Namjoon mentioned and made a smile before facing towards Seokjin and raising his hand to ask for a drink. "Glenlivet twelve on the rocks please..." Namjoon requested and watched Seokjin wink before turning around to serve him. "A club like this comes with the best people you'll ever know..."
Jungkook then took a quick glance between the two before catching onto what Namjoon meant by that. "I understand that completely."
"Want a drink, Jungkook?" Namjoon asked but Jungkook only shook his head and pointed his gaze towards the dance floor where Taehyung was seen at the center.
"Can't, I'm driving him home tonight so I'm just here at the moment..." Jungkook replied. Namjoon nodded his head and watched Seokjin pour his drink. "Driving home too?"
"Yup, this is my only drink since a good Glenlivet is enough to make my night," Namjoon answered as Seokjin handed him the glass right after.
"Glad to see you here again, I was wondering where my favorite customer was spending his Saturdays at," Seokjin told the man and watched him let out a scoff. Deepening the dimples over his face.
"Cut the teasing, Jin! I won't be here for that long," Namjoon replied as Jungkook fell out of the conversation so suddenly. "I have to take you-know-who back home so I won't be drinking that much."
Jungkook tuned out their conversation before standing up and longing to use the restroom. He scanned the place suddenly before walking over to a hallway deeper into the club where the restroom remained. Luckily for him, there weren't any lines for it so he walked into the vast and elegant room and looked around. Glad to know there wasn't a worker standing by the sinks with a bowl of mints and a tip jar. There was absolutely no one in the empty restroom.
Once he was done getting rid of the drink that went right through him, he stepped away from the urinal and fixed his pants before he stood in front of a mirror. Washing his hands slowly and listening to the music play on from the outside as it sounded slightly muffled from where he stood but still loud enough to be heard. As Jungkook stood there after washing and drying his hands, he then looked at his reflection and let out an exhale.
"Ugh I should have went to the dance floor and stole my phone back from-"
Within seconds the door opened and in walked a man with black silk hair hidden underneath a grey beanie. He had thick sunglasses over his eyes and a black matching face mask covering his mouth and nose. Jungkook silenced himself instantly and looked away. Staring at his own reflection and fixing his hair when suddenly, the soft and tempting voice he grew familiar with, called out to him.
"Well, we meet again..." spoke the man as he removed his mask and sunglasses. Revealing that it was Park Jimin just wearing a disguise the whole time. At that moment, Jungkook quickly looked up at the mirror and graced his focus with the sight of the one he couldn't stop thinking about.
"Jimin... it's such a pleasure to see you again."
"I can say the same thing to you too. I didn't think I would run into you here, Jeon Jungkook," Jimin spoke into that gentle whisper Jungkook loved; the whisper that was enough to remind him of the way Jimin seduced him on that Sunday. Jimin gave a faint smirk while he walked up to the young man slowly. Already knowing how much Jungkook anticipated the moment they would meet once again. "You just made my night and I'll have to admit it, I was beginning to miss you already~"
