《The Devil I Love | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 9: Don't Let Them See

Jimin closed his eyes and finally felt like he could relax. Just before, needles stuck onto his skin and it felt like every move he made before bothered him and kept him in the state of numbness where his emotions didn't seem to stand out from the grey. But the moment he called Jungkook, he smiled. He thought of many... many things about the photographer and finally began to smile to himself.
He pressed his head against the railing of the bathtub and closed his eyes until... his peace was ruined once more.
"Jimin!" Called out his manager and with the knock on the bathroom door, Jimin's dull eyes opened and the dull look he had, returned. Anything concerning his work, always tended to make him feel this way... but what was the reason for it all? Jimin knew this very well.
Jimin sank lower into the bath and wanted to block out all the other noises as he sunk his head under all the rose petals until he was underwater. Wanting to escape everything in a moment just to keep the glee he had before. Even if it was impossible, Jimin was desperate to keep it.
"Jimin... fuck... not again..." Namjoon said to himself before he opened the door to the bathroom. Instantly, his blood went cold the moment he saw that Jimin wasn't visible over the bath. His heart sunk and all he could recall was dashing to the bathtub, desperately trying to see if Jimin was in there. He's seen this all before. "JIMIN!" Namjoon called out and reached for the angel's arm and in that moment, he forcibly pulled Jimin up and looked at him to see the younger looking away. Trying to break his own hand free from Namjoon's clutches.
"What?!" Jimin shouted at his manager and in that moment, he was able to pull his own hand back and hug himself as he looked at the older man. "God... I wish those doors could be locked for once!"
"Jimin, you scared the shit out of me! Don't do that!" Namjoon replied softly as he calmed down and placed his hand over his own heart. Feeling it race after such a scare he was given. "You know you can't have any doors locked, your father said it himself. This is the biggest reason why!"
"I... I wasn't trying to... I just wanted you to go away! Why can't I spend my time alone for once?"
"You know I want that for you more than anything, Jimin... but the director makes me check up on you every ten minutes. I'm sorry you don't like it, but I have no choice! The director worries a lot about you, you know you're his favorite..." Namjoon reminded Jimin and watched the younger turn his face away with a deep glare that was written all over his face.
"Don't remind me..." Jimin replied and couldn't even look Namjoon in the eye at the moment.

"Are you upset with me?"
"No... I just want to be alone..."
"I can't let you do that. Even the director doesn't want you anywhere near this bathtub but I just won't let him know about this," Namjoon assured and then stood up before looking away from Jimin. Rolling up the wet sleeve of his white dress shirt. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay and wanted to see if you've taken your medication. Don't forget to take them, we have a long day of work today and I don't want to see you out of it like most of the time... please..."
It was no secret that Namjoon worried about Jimin all the time. He wanted the boy to get better but he knew it was going to take a long time for that to happen. As a manager and a good friend of Jimin's, he knew the difference between being his friend and managing his friend's career. But at times, he just wished he could stay as his friend even in a tough workspace.
"Why can't I just be left alone... this is making me more miserable than before when I-" Jimin then stopped himself. Letting out an exhale and moving his hands along the rose petals floating on the surface of the water. "I... I don't want to take those medications..."
"I know you don't, but you can't ignore them. Take them... please... today is going to be a long day and the last thing that I want is to see you feeling the pressure of it all. I have to get you to take these or else everyone will see. Please don't let them see..." Namjoon found himself begging Jimin until he watched the younger let out a sigh and nod his head. He knew his dear friend didn't want to do this, but he knew there was no other remedy for him in this miserable life where everyone loved him and expected so much from such a perfect angel.
Later on that day, Jungkook couldn't focus. Of course, how could he? Memories of his drunk experience hit him like a truck as he was right in the middle of taking pictures of a new client. He tried his best to put his head in the game, but he kept turning red at the thought of how he moaned Jimin's name all night. In what way was this professional? Jungkook was ashamed but at the same time, he couldn't believe that this was the feeling he discovered when he looked upon the older model.
Jungkook took the pictures of his client and tried his best not to think of Jimin at all. Even if it was impossible, Jungkook knew this had to be the only way he could handle this and that was trying to ignore those distractions. Jimin was everything that the world dreamt of and it was no different if Jungkook felt the same way. Some must have seen Jimin the same at one point but to Jungkook, he felt like he shouldn't since he actually had to see the older man once Sunday comes around again.

"He's still in my head... I can't focus... if this keeps up I'll have to let Taehyung take over! This can't be happening to me... not even Yoongi surrounds my mind like this... I've never even gotten drunk and thought of Yoongi like this either! There's something about Jimin that makes me want to see more of him..." Jungkook thought and once the photoshoot for the client was over, he walked to the nearby bathroom and slid down the wall while Yoongi completed the order.
"Those roses... the call, the thoughts I had of him and the way he behaved just yesterday stuck with me until I became so drunk..." Jungkook thought and continued to sit on the ground of the bathroom and shook his head. "Maybe I should go clubbing with Taehyung just to get Jimin off my mind... maybe... maybe once Sunday comes around, I'll be over this feeling I have of him and I won't think of him when I'm drunk. I won't moan his name and I can handle this work professionally. I have to keep things professional because if I-" Jungkook then stopped himself to then let out a sigh right after. "Keep things professional... who am I kidding? I told Jimin to call me by my first name!" Jungkook continued to go back and forth with his thoughts until he only shook his head and hoped to forget them all by Sunday.
As he hoped to forget it all by Sunday, throughout the week, it wasn't easy to get Jimin off his mind. He thought of the man no matter what and laid awake thinking back at the way Jimin behaved. It wasn't that Jungkook grew to dislike Jimin, he only wanted to keep things professional but through those feelings, he found out how tempting Jimin was the first time the photoshoot was held. He noticed the many sensual things Jimin did and couldn't brush them away. In his head, Jimin knew exactly what he was doing when he touched Jungkook's leg, when he gave him the sultry look, and when he laid back onto the bed and kept his tempting stare at the young photographer as if he held his power over him.
While the days went by, Jungkook managed to set Jimin aside for a few moments but it wasn't enough to stay that way. Every waking moment, Jungkook thought of the perfect angel and when he would drink, he would think of him too. By the time Saturday came around, he watched Jimin's team come over and build the quick set up that was agreed on.
As Jungkook watched the team build the set, he noticed there was another bed and couldn't stop staring at it. His eyes fixed onto the headboard and the soft mattress that was set over the base of the white bed. There was nothing else surrounding his mind other than the thought of Jimin laying on it like he did before and staring into his eyes, tempting him in every way. At that moment, Jungkook didn't even realize when Yoongi stepped into the studio and watched the team build the set too.
"Jimin has a very interesting idea..." Yoongi mentioned and with those words alone, Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts.
"Wha- oh! Yeah... I guess you can say that..." Jungkook replied and finally looked away from the bed to see Yoongi, finally steering his mind away from Jimin at this very moment.
"I can't believe he actually made another appointment! It's so important for the studio, I'm so proud of what you can do, Jungkook," Yoongi mentioned and looked at the boy. "You're doing Jimin,"
"W-WHAT?" Jungkook asked as he thought he heard Jimin's name in that sentence. "D-Doing what again?"
"I said, you're doing great!" Yoongi repeated himself and watched Jungkook let out a laugh and rub his eyes. "Have you had any rest? You look nervous... Remember, Taehyung and I were only joking around about Jimin making you his 'toy' don't take it so seriously. I'm sure Jimin is a sweetheart. Don't focus too much on Taehyung's theories."
"Oh... I'm not worried about that, I can take a joke!" Jungkook assured and smiled to himself before watching Jimin's team once more. Realizing that he seemed to be talking to Yoongi normally like nothing stood in their way. "Also, since I don't want to drag you two out here on another Sunday, I'll handle Jimin's appointment here on my own. I just don't want to take up any of your time since I know you two have other jobs..."
"Oh, thank you, I'm sure Taehyung will love a break too! Just make sure you leave us some autographs from Jimin himself," Yoongi replied and patted Jungkook's shoulder. "And hey, I know we tend to keep things professional between us, but whenever you need someone to hang out with, I'm your brother! Let me know and I'll be there, okay?" Yoongi stated and patted Jungkook's shoulder once again before stepping back. "I'm going to drop Taehyung off, so we're clocking out for the day. See you on Monday!" Instantly Jungkook's eyes widened at the sound of Yoongi saying those words.
"Brother? Ah, why did you have to put it like that?" Jungkook said into his mind as he listened to Yoongi's shoes tap against the ground as he walked away. "I can't let him see me like that... now it makes me feel weird for admiring him..." Jungkook rambled on before running his hand against his own blond hair and letting out an exhale. Pondering the sound of Yoongi saying those words he would have never expected to hear out of his small and plumped lips.
