《The Devil I Love | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 6: A Beautiful Distraction

Jungkook continued to pass through the many pictures he took of Jimin in order to show the model. He could catch onto his sweet cologne and could even count the many strands to his light blond hair if he cared to; that's how close Jimin sat with the photographer almost as if he knew no bounds when it came to riding off the excuse of seeing the photos Jungkook took.

Jungkook wanted to look at the pictures he took of Jimin as well, but he was distracted. Every little smile that formed over Jimin's face left him silent while he kept going through each photo. A distraction, a beautiful distraction at a moment Jungkook didn't realize before but he couldn't dare to move Jimin away. His scent, his smiles and his features up close were things that began to grow on the young photographer.

"Mr. Jeon...." Jimin called out, causing the young man to finally snap out of his thoughts so abruptly.

"Yes?"

"You're so talented! These shots are perfect... I'm so pleased!" Jimin gushed over the younger's work as he finally turned around to face Jungkook and set his right hand over his thigh so innocently. Leaving Jungkook to gulp and slowly look Jimin in the eyes. "How is your work so underrated? You went beyond my expectations!"

"Oh... to be honest with you, I don't really know why... but I'm just starting out with this business so of course it won't be that big. It takes years to finally get put out there."

"Well with these shots and my support, you will get there without a hassle! You're very talented, Mr. Jeon," Jimin assured.

The way he uttered the name 'Mr. Jeon' left Jungkook believing that all of this was in his head. Jimin wasn't joking around, he was still keeping things professional by referring to Jungkook by his last name despite their age differences. However, Jungkook couldn't believe that this was professional... was it? This had to be more on the level of good friends and that alone left Jungkook wondering about what went on in Jimin's head? Was the angel naturally this comfortable and open with everyone he worked with? Whatever it was, Jungkook knew he couldn't dissect this any further since he knew this would only be the first and last time working with the celebrity. So he pushed away every interaction and smiled at the model before him. Being glad he was able to exceed Jimin's expectations.

"Thank you..." Jungkook replied. Still noticing that Jimin kept his hand over his thigh and of course, it was there to stay! Jungkook looked Jimin in the eyes as he sat close to him. At that very moment they were no longer paying attention to the photos on the camera. Jungkook immersed himself into the windows to Jimin's soul and couldn't look away. It was as if they communicated on another level without uttering a word. They were silent and allowed themselves to get lost in each other's gaze until Jimin moved his head in closer. But before Jungkook could realize what Jimin was intending, the model broke away the gaze and let out a soft giggle. Returning to the innocent persona he kept hiding under.

"I'll be outside if you need me, Mr. Jeon. It was a pleasure to work with you... maybe one day our schedules will align and I can see you once again in this studio~" Jimin spoke into the soft voice that dragged on, making the hairs on Jungkook's neck stand and his face begin to blush at the sound of this angel's teasing voice.

"I enjoyed working with you too and I will always be available if you want to work with me again," Jungkook replied and watched Jimin look back with a smirk before he left the studio. With that, Jungkook waited a moment before he could follow behind and leave the studio space as well. But he felt the need to stand there for a moment, try to process Jimin's words, and the way he said them.

"Keep things professional....? Yeah right..." Jungkook said under his breath before making a smirk and finally walking forward to step out of the studio space.

There, he handed Yoongi the SD card with all the photos just so he could show it to the manager and Jimin's team. As they gathered to see the photos, Jimin stepped up to Jungkook with an envelope and held it out to the younger.

"Here, this is your pay for this session-"

"Oh... no, please it's alright, you've been so kind already," Jungkook replied into a chuckle as Jimin only tilted his head with a smile and continued to keep his hand out; holding the envelope with two hands locked onto the bottom of it.

"Please, accept it. We made our appointment like regular clients and we will pay like regular clients," Jimin mentioned before leaning into Jungkook's ear and whispering the next few words to him while everyone was distracted by the photos. "Don't turn away from this now, Mr. Jeon... accept it and if you won't use it, fund your dream further... I believe in you. Please, it would make my day if you accept this payment just like you would accept a normal client's pay..."

Those very words finally made the humble photographer accept the envelope even if he longed to keep going back and forth with Jimin over this. Yet, he wanted to make Jimin's day by finally accepting this so once he did, Jimin stepped back and smiled at the young man before he grabbed the bag that had his clothes from before and walked to the nearest bathroom to change out of his modeling outfit.

Eventually, Jimin left that afternoon as Jungkook held onto the envelope in his hands. He didn't want to open it but he had no other choice but to keep it. Saying no to Jimin seemed hard since he persisted. Now Jungkook could imagine the lengths Jimin's director faced until he accepted the angel's request.

The young man was silent as he sat in the lobby; contemplating the way Jimin's smirk was still lingering on in his head until Taehyung stepped up and let out a laugh.

"Jimin is some 'angel', huh?" Taehyung laughed and caught the attention of his boss. "You gotta admit it, Jungkook, that was not professional at all!"

"He just wanted to get me to accept the money, that's all..." Jungkook replied and watched the older man shake his head.

"I'm not talking about that! I'm talking about the way you two were practically drowning in each other's eyes in there! The camera surveillance never lies!"

"Were you... watching us the whole time?"

"No, I walked past the printing room where the screens are too and heard you two talking. It was the moment Jimin laid back on the mattress and kept looking at you!" The older man said into a tease before laughing once again.

"I saw it in the camera surveillance as well, and to be honest, I didn't expect that from the angel himself," Yoongi jumped in as he stepped into the lobby and went to sit at the front desk. "I didn't want to say it, but Jimin looks like he knows what he's doing when it comes to playing around like that!"

"Playing... around...? Ah, I don't want to think like that. I won't ever see him again so thinking of the way he behaved wouldn't matter. I won't see him ever again," Jungkook retorted. "We kept things professional..."

"Tell me Jungkook," Taehyung said. He sat next to the photographer and placed his hand over the younger's thigh before dragging it up and looking him in his doll-like eyes. "... is this professional?~"

"Shut up... I know that by now, the way he looked at me and smirked most of the time... I noticed it, but I couldn't look away... he stared at me and that only made me feel lost in his world..."

"Wow, he has everyone wrapped around his finger, including you! Who would have thought Jimin's charm was so addicting? I knew he wasn't all innocent and that alone sheds so much to his character! Ah, if only I had the chance to talk to him instead of growing anxious in his presence."

"If Jimin is a tease like that, he's no angel at all! That's a devil!" Yoongi joked around and listened to Taehyung let out a laugh. "Wow, Jungkook... Jimin was interested in you! It isn't every day you have a celebrity treat you that way."

"Ah, it doesn't matter! I won't see him again," Jungkook replied and tried to hide the fact that he couldn't keep his mind off Jimin now. He wanted to think of Yoongi and maybe plan a way to ask him out for a drink one day, but he couldn't focus on the one he admired. He could only focus on Park Jimin like he was a song that constantly played in the back of his mind.

At the same time, Jimin was sitting in the back of an expensive black SUV car used to only transport him wherever he desired. As he remained sitting in the backseats with his manager, the ride was silent and the ongoing smile he had before was no longer there. It was only the dull look in his eyes that pierced through the window he sat next to.

Namjoon was scrolling through the preview pictures sent to his phone before he set it down and looked in Jimin's direction.

"You seem so energetic in these pictures... I love it when you're motivated like this," Namjoon mentioned as Jimin turned his head to face his manager. "Did you have fun at this photo shoot? I don't think I've ever seen you smile so happily in such a picture without faking it."

"I enjoyed being there... just not when I had to leave," Jimin replied and let out a sigh right after. He wasn't very energetic and happy like he was at the studio, he was silent as if many things weighed him down and they did. Many things in his life kept him down and Namjoon knew it. "I didn't think I was going to enjoy being at a photoshoot, let alone, with a photographer. I normally hate working since I can never find the motivation... but for this moment... at this very moment, I enjoyed being there."

"I can tell. The way you looked at that photographer and shook his hand when you met him, made me smile as well. I'm glad you enjoyed it. You know, all I want to see is you having fun. I hate seeing you so miserable, as your friend and your manager, I get worried about you."

"No need to worry, Namjoon... I'm more stable than I was before and I appreciate your words. I can tell I had a lot of fun being there... if possible, do you think I could have another photo shoot there?" Jimin asked and looked at his manager with his doe eyes.

"I don't see why you ask me about this when you already know that with the constant asking and convincing you're able to do, you will be able to have it no matter what," Namjoon replied and reached over to Jimin just to pat the top of his soft, blond hair. "You can let the director know all about it and he will give you anything. You know you're his favorite."

"Favorite... of course...ah, I'm everyone's favorite! Everyone can't get enough of me. I guess this is a curse when it comes to how it all affects me at the end of the day," Jimin thought and pressed his head back against the car seat right after. "Namjoon, I want to come back here for another photoshoot... I feel happier there. It's perfect..."

"Well, if you're happy I'm happy," Namjoon answered before letting out a soft chuckle. "So, what are your thoughts on the photographer? Or is it the studio and the atmosphere that you like more?" Teased the man as Jimin only turned his face to look out the window and press his head against it.

"Jeon Jungkook.... I like that boy...."
