《Son of Chaos || Percy Jackson》Jiper

My eyes flew open in shock as I sat up immediately, only to feel a set of hands gripping onto my shoulders immediately. "Percy!" Amber's terrified voice called out to me, causing me to snap my wide eyes up to meet the tearful eyes of my terrified sister, the rest of the people in our cabin gathered around her in concern. "W-What-"
"You were screaming and crying out for us." Jason said in concern as Amber immediately lets out a terrified sob, pulling me into a tight hug as I slowly hugged her back, feeling my body being left in a layer of light sweat. "We've been trying to take you up for the last five minutes, but you didn't budge." He explained as I nodded slowly, feeling my eyes tear up as well as my arms tighten around my shaking sister.
It was all a dream. I told myself as I buried my face into her shoulder, letting the tears slide down my cheeks as I took a few deep breaths to calm my thundering heart. It was all a bad dream. After a few minutes, I slowly pulled away from my sister, wiping the rest of my tears with my hand before I cupped her face in my hands, giving her a sad smile as she sniffles and tried to blink the tears away. "I'm sorry for scaring you." I told her quietly as I wiped her tears away from her face with my thumb. "I just...I had a bad dream."
"What to talk about it?" Silena offered as she leans against Beckendorf sleepily, to which I just stared down at my lap for a moment to gather my thoughts. Slowly I started to share my horrible dream, letting Jason use his powers to collect the sweats from my body and tossing it out the window, leaving me feeling cold from the wind instead. I told them everything, how I was being tortured and how End showed me all the scenes of what would happen if we continue with the mission. Amber had yet to move, her arms still wrapped around me as her head was tucked under my chin, my arms still wrapped around her firmly; using her as my anchor point to the real world. It was all just a terrible dream.
"End is probably trying to mess with you." Lee said after awhile, giving me a concerned once over as if he was trying to check to see if my body had any of the wounds that I said were inflected on me. "I mean, it's not that it hasn't happen before. Someone hijacking your dreams...best we can do is try to ignore it now." He explains, giving me a reassuring smile. "With you as our captain, there ain't not way we are going to go down without a fight. So why worry about the outcome of something we yet to know of yet?" He offered, his calm reasoning starting to calm me down as well as I nodded slowly. "Y-Yeah...you're right."

So after a few more moments, and apologies from me, the rest started to leave my room; but not before giving me reassuring hugs and words of comfort as they left. Soon it was just Amber and I, who had shifted to the end of my bed to give rooms to others to comfort me. She gave me a soft and tired smile as she sniffles softly, getting up before she walks towards me; running a soft hand through my slightly damp hair. "Go to sleep, Perce...it was just a dream."
I nodded slowly at her words, slowly laying back on my best as she tucks the blanket around me again. She continues to run her hand through my hair in a soothing manner, causing me to start blinking sleepily at the action. Before I knew what was happening, my tired eyelids slid shut again, and finally I was welcome into the warm embrace of peaceful sleep, feeling myself relax more and more before I became numb to the rest of the world.
I had just walked out of the cabin with a mug of tea in my hands when I heard two men yelling, making me jump and almost spilling the hot water all over myself.
"SQUIRREL!" Both Luke and Jason exclaimed before they ran after whatever that thing was, making me stare at their retreating backs with the most done expression I have ever muttered. "...you sure you want to choose that one?" Silena asked from where she was cuddling with Beckendorf underneath a tree, giving me a very confused look whilst I just took a long sip from my mug. "I am debating that myself." I sighed tiredly just as someone opened the door from behind me, Percy poking his head out the door with the most confused look on his face. "Did I just hear Luke and Jason screaming?"
"They aren't in immediate danger." Lee offered after he swallowed his mouthful of cereal, to which Percy just nods sleepily before he walked back into the cabin. We were having breakfast on our front porch, since we were assaulted by questions by the Huntresses once we had settled down at our table. Apparently last night Percy had kissed the Goddess, and the Huntresses are debating if we are trying to use their maiden goddess to get to them. Hence why we have escaped to the safety of our own cabin to eat the rest of our breakfast. "By the way, we are going to be talking about your makeout session later, Perce."
I heard the sound of something cluttering loudly inside the cabin, causing me to smirk to myself as I took a bite from the apple that Perseus had handed me, smiling at the man in thanks. I had just taken a bite from it just as I saw Luke walking back towards the cabin, his hands slipped into his pockets as he smirks over at us victoriously. "Did you trap Jason somewhere? Do we need to go and save him?" Beckendorf asks with an unamused look, to which Luke just shakes his head before he grabbed my apple to take a bite from it as well; holding it above my head when I whined and tried to reach for it.

"I was just being a good friend and hooking a guy up." Luke said with a grin, returning my apple after I let out a whine of annoyance, to which I just scowled at him in annoyance as I took another bite from my apple, letting him knick my mug of tea whilst Lee raised a confused eyebrow at him. "What the hell does that even mean?"
"You'll see."
"Where the hell is he?" I mumble softly to myself in confusion as I pushed past the low branches, having lost Luke in the forest a few seconds before. But I was pretty sure that he couldn't have gone far - I mean, the forest might be big, but it was just only a few second head start. I was about to call out his name when a familiar voice spoke from behind me shyly, causing me to freeze up in fear. "He went the other way.." Piper told me from behind as I slowly turned to face her again, looking back into a pair of kaleidoscope eyes that have my knees weakening. "Hi Thunder.."
"H-Hi.." I greeted back quietly after a few seconds, wanting to punch myself for shuttering in front of her as Piper shrugs her shoulder softly. "What are you doing here?" I asked her in confusion, shoving my slightly shaking hands into my pockets whilst she rubbed her arm softly, looking away from me as she stepped closer to the clearing I was in so she was less hidden in the shadows. "I wanted to clear my head...what about you, Thunder?" She asks as she met my eyes again, and if I didn't have my hood up, she would have been able to see my blush. "Oh, I was just...chasing something that ran into the forest." I said uncertainly, deciding that she didn't need to know that I was chasing a squirrel.
"ADHD?" She asked me with a knowing look on her face, making me let out a nervous chuckle as I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. "You caught me." I admitted with a soft chuckle, to which she just smiles softly; only for her expression to drop as she looks down at her feet. "You know...you remind me a lot of someone I lost." She started, to which I looked over at her and felt myself growing nervous. "His name is...well, was, Jason. He was murdered by monsters while he was on a quest." She mumbles softly before she snuffles, causing her nose to squish up in a very adorable way.
God, if that didn't tug at my heart strings- "Oh."
"Yeah." She said and chuckles sadly, brushing her brown hair away from her face before she looks over at my with a sad smile. "My mother really wants to make my love life suck." She muttered and sat down against a rock, beckoning me over. I stood there for a second before I walked towards her, sitting next to her; a wave of comfortable silence washing over us. "Have you, uh, heard anything from Jason?" I asked after a moment, to which she just sighs tiredly and looks down at her lap.
"No." She said, a tired edge on her voice that causes my heart to flutter sadly as I casted a glance at her. "He just...vanished. No body, no weapon recovered. Nothing." She mumbles softly, her voice getting softer and softer with each word. I was about to ask her if she was okay when I heard soft sniffles coming from her, which that itself caused me to tense up before I pulled out a pack of tissues and handed her a tissue silently. "Here.."
She gave me a soft smile before she took the tissue from my hand, our fingers brushing together ever so slightly. This cause me to jump a little at the feeling of something shooting through my arm. "T-Thanks." She mumbles softly, her cheeks suddenly flushing whilst I looked away as well, unsure of how to react to that as well. "I just - I miss him , so much." She mumbles softly after awhile, drying her tears with her tissue whilst I watched her, not being able to tear my eyes away from her.
She looked away from her tissue and met my eyes head on, causing me to freeze up again whilst she met my eyes head on. Without Even knowing what was happening, I leaned down and pressed my lips against hers, to which she leans up to kiss me back. The familiar feeling of her lips against mine and the spark that was always there came rushing back to me, even after so many years. It was like we were never separated from each other. When we pulled away, I looked down at her with slightly hooded eyes, watching her as she slowly reached up to cup my face wordlessly.
I felt a hand slowly push my hood down, giving her a soft and tired smile as Piper's eyes teared up at the sight of me. "Jason.." She whispers out in shock, her eyes darting all over the place whilst I chuckle softly and lean into her touch. "Hi Pipes." I mumble before a pair of arms wrapped around
I look over at her and nodded, before she threw her arms around me and smashed her lips against mine. I sat there in shock before I kissed her back, placing my hand on her waist as I pulled her closer. We sat there for a moment before I pulled away, and she said, "Jason." She sobs out into my neck, making me chuckle as my arms tighten around her immediately. Blinking back my own tears, I buried my face into her hair, pressing soft kisses along her face as she sobs into my neck; just enjoying the moment we are sharing together.

8 66The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.
8 60The wish trials
The God of reincarnation has brought to many idiots back to life with ridiculous wishes and the high council is sick of it messing up their worlds. So a new God was brought in. One that actually made people earn their new lives. But the actions of this unknown deity cause a boy's life to spiral out of control. After a tragic incident, the boy meets the diety where he requests to be able to fly. To accommodate this desire he allows the Boy to complete his task in the body of a random bird. There's only one problem, this bird cant fly. Follow the voices in the boy's head as he struggles to survive and grow stronger so he can get the life he always wanted. Criticism would be great. I also have heavy dyslexia along with some other metal 'uniqueness' so this whole story is a big F you to it but I am sorry for any and all inevitable mistakes.
8 197unit: NO NAME
Humanity was on the brink of extinction due to the unexplained appearances of 'Cryptids.' Amidst the chaos of never-ending slaughter, a beacon of hope appeared for humanity, 'Phenomena.' Phenomena are unexplained abilities that were given to half of the people around the globe, though how they emerge are unknown. Despite the different kinds of Phenomena that humanity gained, it still wasn't enough to drive the terrifying Cryptids away from the face of the earth. It's the year 3000. All of the modern civilizations that stood on the ground have collapsed, and many kinds of Cryptids are roaming the land. But, due to a type of Phenomenon called 'Eden's garden,' three cities were formed floating in the sky that gave humanity the chance to rest and develop for the past years. Mechanica, Cybertown, and Gearmany were floating at different locations. Cybertown. A city filled with many people and buildings that even the streets can't fit a car is where Aki, our main protagonist, and his unit, will start their adventure to save the remaining people from a crisis.

8 205Waiting for Death
Me.... you are asking about me? What a pain...! Eh-hem! Excuse me for that... anyway, this is a story as the title suggest(I think). You want me to be specific?! You are a picky mother-fucker aren't you.... excuse my true-self slipped out. Okay, this is the story of my pessimistic life as I try to accept death's embrace, but a goddess(nosy, two faced, and succubus bitch) interferes and forces me on the path of reincarnation. Why do I not commit the taboo "suicide". She brought to my attention a new conception of life, so I might as well try it as I wait for deaths beckoning. Please give a review and also comment for I can a get general feeling of the direction of this story.
