《Son of Chaos || Percy Jackson》New Mission

I sheathed my sword at my hip as training for the day ended, sweat dripping down my face as I bro hugged a panting Jason; both of us sporting mischievous grins on our faces. Ever since that faithful day, I have become stronger and better than I ever was before. It felt like I lived in a simulation - where every day all I am doing is jacking up the points and leveling up.
My 'army', if that's what you want to call, has grown stronger and bigger; making me feel like a new father showing off his first child. I make an effort to know everyone in my ranks and listen to their needs, and allowing them to retire with the appropriate titles and rewards. When it came to my personal elite army, I had chosen my fellow demigods to fight by my side - Luke, Bekendorf ( he still refuses to let us call him Charles ), Silena, Zoë, Bianca, and the Greek heroes Perseus and Jason. I had stumbled on them by accident whilst looking for Luke, and I just asked them 'hey, wanna tag along?' and the rest was history really. Lee Flecther had returned as our head healer, but I feel like the most part he's the one who beats us up into shape.
In hindsight, Jason was supposed to be alive and well. But a year after my 'death', if you can say that, Jason was sent on a quest. However, he somehow ended up angering Ares, the God of War and asshole supreme, who started to send all the monsters he can muster. It had cause him to go on the run, and at a big disadvantage because if he used his powers, he would end up alerting the God himself. It wasn't like Ares can control the sky domain, but I think you can spot a flying blonde teenager would cause quite the commotion.
I caught him running in the middle of Turkey, not really knowing how he got there; but I didn't question it and took him under my wing. Because why not? The more the merrier - so I faked his death by saying that he got killed by a monster in his sleep and took him away from Earth and give him new powers. Now there are two people who causes chaos around the places and this may annoy others, but at least I am not alone doing anything stupid.
But anyway - back to the present. When we formed the army, we all have code names to ensure that our identity was never shared with the rest of the universe. Plus, it sounded badass.
Mine is Omega.
Luke is Alpha, second in command.
Jason Grace goes by Thunder, my third in command.
Beckendorf is Forge.
Silena is Beauty.
Zoë is Arrow.
Bianca is Angel.
The original Perseus is Waves. (We have an inside joke about that.)
The original Jason is Forgotten.
Lee is Healer.
And Amber goes by Huntress, head strategist.
We have been going around the universe, recruiting the innocent with a burning desire for justice against their attackers or fallen heroes who have potential; giving them a place to call home and providing them with whatever they need to train and feel comfortable. We even brought back some Spartans as a curious experiment, but now most of our ranks are filled with them. Most times, we spend teaching them the right from the wrong, but at least they are now not challenging people and not killing everyone they do not like. It's a start.

Even though we have a huge army, the people with code names are apart of an elected group of warriors called Umbra Percussoribus - Shadow Slayers for people who don't read Latin. It is the closest warriors that serve Chaos personally, and who are the ones who lead the army to different solar systems to help the innocent. The name Umbra Percussoribus came to me randomly, and Chaos didn't mind, so we went with it and here we are today.
We went on many missions to save different planets in need. We are well known around the universe for the way we defend the innocent and slay the evil like it was nothing; basically, we are the badasses with powers and killer skills, which, not to toot my own horn or anything - is pretty awesome. With our loyal men willing to die for the safety of others, we are remembered and known to be quite the heroes all over the universe. Plus, not to brag, as the Prince of the Void, I am pretty powerful.
It is so not me to brag, but can you blame me? I've basically maxed out in all power levels.
I walked towards my locker to grab my towel to wipe my sweat from my face as I took a long gulp from my bottle, only to jump when I heard my father's voice coming to me from the back of my mind. Everyone looked over at me in confusion, to which I just waved at them off as I tried to hide how awkward I was.
Son, please come into the throne room. I wish to speak to you and your commanders.
It still freaks me out sometimes whenever I heard another voice in my head, being able to be connected mentally to my father, sister and commanders; but as time goes on, I slowly got used to it from all the times it has happened. It is useful during warm, because I don't have to scream like a mad man, waving my sword to try and control my army; I can just connect to them mentally and they can receive my command immediately. It does help - especially when I want to annoy people by just singing a catchy song and have it get stuck in their heads. Mama Mia is definitely one of my most favourite songs.
Shaking my head a little, I snapped back in reality before I told everyone to finish up and follow me to the throne room; walking along the dark marble hallways that were showered in shadows. Whilst we were walking towards throne room, we past a few guards, who all bowed at us respectfully. I just nodded in reply before we reached the door leading to the thrown room, pushing it open and holding it open for the others to come in.
Man, the throne room will always take my breath away.
The ceiling opens up to the universe, where I could see the universe roll into view every second before it disappears and a new one appearing in their place. The walls were made of Void metal, trimmed with silver as well as priceless stones from around the universe that glued itself into the walls and floors of the room. At the end of the room, sitting on a throne made of galaxies and planets, sat Chaos, or my father, lounging with his sword resting before him as he watched a globe of light with a concern look on his face.
"Greetings, My Lord." I greeted my father with a soft smirk, bowing down at him mockingly whilst the people around us snort and sniffle their laughter into their hands; Father looking away from the glowing globe with the most annoyed look on his face. "You know I do not like all the formal titles and such." He sighs a little in annoyance, closing his hand as the glowing globe in his hand dimmed out suddenly. "I know." I said with a grin, to which he gave me the most annoyed look ever. "Hence why I do it all the time."

He sighs in annoyance before he waved me off, a scroll appearing before Amber who took it gingerly. "Back to the task at hand. I had brought you here to hand over your new mission brief." Father stated as Amber unrolled the paper curiously, reading it out for the rest of us to hear.
"Planet: Number 3, commonly known as Earth
Threat: End has chosen that planet to rise and has teamed up with Kronos and Gaia, mortal forces, to rain terror and gather enough energy to power his army to take over the rest of the universe.
Goal: To help the Roman and Greek Demigods."
"Earth is getting into another war, and this one's worse then the last one for a very long time." Chaos concluded once Amber finished reading, making me stand there with a slight scowl on my face. I do not want to return to that dreadful place that I once called home, but I know I have no say in it. So after taking a deep breath, I looked over at my father with a poker face. "How worse?"
"Souls of demigods that supported the dark side along with the monsters are coming back in a rapid state. They aren't dying - they are being reborn a moment after death." Father said as I snorted a little, shaking a look with Jason. "Thanatos is clearly sleeping."
"How do we fix this?" Amber asked, cutting off Jason and I before we make it even more tense as she gave Father a serious look. She doesn't mind going to Earth to help, no matter how much Jason and I protest. History or not, they are in danger, and because of the loyalty streak that runs strong in the family, she isn't going to let us talk our way of helping Earth because it will most likely come back and bite us in the ass. Excuse the language. "You must destroy End, who has captured Tartarus and forcing him to keep the doors of the Underworld opened, and made The God of the Doors of Death flee for his life." He said as Luke widen his eyes.
"That's not possible!" He exclaimed as Jason shook his head with a serious look. "Luke, anything is possible at this point." He said as Chaos sighed. "Now, let's focus on the fact that End is rising, and his powers are becoming undeniable stronger. I would go and kill my brother myself, but I am trying to not come face to face for as long as I can to ensure that I am not going to tear a whole into the universe." He said as I nodded my head softly. "Right. So...how do we do this, exactly?"
"It's not that difficult to figure out; End was called End for a reason. He is the king of death, and all that jolly stuff. He is, well, the end of everything. Evil, monsters, wars - kill him, you stop everything. This means that the balance will be restored and that Earth will live out it's remaining days before self imploding or its inhabitants plan on traveling the universe like many others before them. As for your identities wise; I have no control over if you ever want to show yourself to your old comrades. If you like, you can show them, but if you don't, then don't. It is not my place to advice you.
"We will be leaving in an hour to inform the Olympus Council about our contributions. Go inform your army now, Commander Omega. And don't give me that look - this is your job. Now go before I kick you there myself." Father said and shooed us out as I pouted and walked out like a child, grumbling the entire way there was I informed the army about our new mission begrudgingly.
I am not looking forward for this bullshit.
Every single minor and major God gathered in the Olympus throne room to plan out the war. Each of the twelve Gods and Goddesses sat on their thrones, minor Gods and Goddesses flanking our sides as we all discuss war strategies and what to do.
But you know us gods, we can't gather without having a huge argument breaking out between us. Everyone, except for me, was arguing about the war. They knew they didn't have the man power to win it, and they also knew their best heroes were on the run from us.
I know what you are thinking, Why aren't they alive if people are being reborn? End banished almost every heroes' soul, erasing them so they seem to never have existed. Some were mysteriously missing, but some of the remaining ones managed to escape and was on our side.
I was about to yell for silence when I felt a strong presence, stronger then anyone in the room, entering the space before us as a deep voice clear their throat awkwardly. Everyone stopped their yelling and turn to face the portal that suddenly opened.
"I see none of you have changed since the last time I was here. "
I bit back my laugh as everyone stared at Chaos then at us in awe. "Lord Chaos, I see you have finally brought your formidable army to Earth." Zeus said respectfully as I sent him a nodded. He met my eyes for a moment before realisation dawned onto him, giving me a nod of respect when he got over his shock.
My hood was up, a dark shadow covered my face from view, but I managed to give him a smile in return. "I have an army of the 300 Spartans who faced the Persian immortals thousands of years ago, at my command." I said and the others nodded. "As the threat of End continues, my army and I pledge our services to you for as long as you require them."
"Omega, Camp Jupiter and Camp Half-Blood as joined forces every since the last war against Gaia 200 years prior. Their main base is in Camp Half-Blood. I hope the immortal campers will greet you with the respect you rightfully deserve." Zeus said as Chaos nodded at them when a thought suddenly hit me - immortal campers. I tilted my head at the immortal campers part and Poseidon, who looked very worn out and tired, answered my unasked question. "We turned the Seven - well, what's left of them - immortal and made them the guardians of the camp. To ensure that the campers will be safe for generations to come."
I nodded at that before Chaos looked over at all of us. "I see things are going smoothly." He said as he turned to face the Olympians again. "I am leaving you with my children, Commander Omega and Lady Huntress. I will also be watching over and interfering if I need to." Dad said and we nodded before he flashed out of the room. But not before sending me a look that told me to 'behave' as I gave him a mocking bow before he turned away with an amused yet slightly annoyed expression, returning to the Void.
"We will escort you to Camp Half-Blood." Aphrodite said in a flirty voice and we nodded before we teleport-ed to Camp Half - Blood, where a bunch of campers were fighting over battle plans, some of them drawing weapons while others were yelling at them to try and get sense into them.
"Demigods!" Amber called out, her voice louder then everyone else's as they stopped their bickering to look over at us in shock. "We are the Umbra Percussoribus, personally assigned here by Lord Chaos himself to aid you in battle." She said before she gestured to me. "This is Commander Omega, Prince of the Void, heir to the throne of the Void. I am Huntress, Princess of the Void, and head strategist in the army. We are here to serve our loyalty to fight for your cause.
"This is Thunder, second in command. Then we have Alpha, who is third in command. We have Angel and Arrow, our best archers. And then we have Healer, our best healer in our ranks. Then we have Forgotten, Waves, Pirate, Forge and Beauty." Amber said and pointed at each warrior respectively before I stepped up to formally regard the campers that I once called family; giving them an icy and emotionless look underneath my hood.
"From this very moment, I am taking control. You shall yield to me like the Gods have." I said, my voice slicing the quiet air with authority as my forces stood behind me in formation - something we realised cause some fear in people, so we decided not to drop it; I still call it stupid, but what can I do?
Everyone looked at me, not opposing me as they lowered their weapons awkwardly, until a voice spoke up, "Who are you? This is my camp and I am the leader."
I looked up and it was Jake, the very guy who led me to the life I have now. Can't tell if I should thank him or not, but I am not going close to that for any reason whatsoever. "Who died and made you king?" Amber muttered in annoyance while I shoot her a look, not without giving her a soft smirk as Jason and Luke snorted softly at the sight of the fuming camper.
"I can lead this camp far better then you ever can, so if I was you, I would stand d-" I started but was cut short when he drew his sword, giving me a daring smirk. "That's very unwise." I said as I gave him my infamous death stare, and took out a single dagger and rushed at him in a shadowy blur. In a second he was on the ground with his sword being pointed at him while my foot was against his chest. "I would stand down if I were you," I hissed as he gulped and I pushed up, sheathing my dagger and tossing his sword to the side before I turn to face the campers and the Olympians.
"As commander of my army, I take offenses really seriously. If you offended one of my soldiers, you offended my whole army. I tend to not be forgiving, and hopefully we do not get to that stage of anger, shall we?" I said in a monotone as the campers nodded almost immediately, making me nod in satisfaction as I gestured for my men and women to follow, all of us working in uniform as the campers parted; staring at us with wide and curious eyes.
I went to the table where they set up plans going to lean down to read them just as a sword was pointed at my throat. My army moved fast, drawing weapons and pointed them at the imposter without a second thought. "I would advise you to move your sword away before I shot your hand off." Zoë said, her bow and arrow drawn, as I heard Amber scoff, her own blade hovering close to his chest. "Not if I decapitate him first." She said as I glanced over at a pale looking Jake with an unfazed look on my face. "Let's fight one more time! No powers; sword vs sword." He said after he plucked up the courage, making me raise an eyebrow in annoyance as I stood back up to my full height.
"How about this, Jake?" I said, getting annoyed by the second as I turn to face him with an annoyed look. "I'll fight you with my bare hands and if I win, you don't speak or defy my order or say ever again." I suggested and he nodded confidently.
"Deal."

Body and Soul
The whole room is fully ablaze when the fire turns blue and even hotter. And I still keep my hands on the rune, ignoring the sizzling of my flesh. After a while I notice the blue, roaring flames on the other side of the window. At the edge of unconsciousness, I listen to the screams of people as they are taken by the Inferno. ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: If you find mistakes, pls tell, thx.
