《Doctor Who : The Emerging Robots》A Change in Style

The TARDIS materialised inside the ship's cockpit. The Doctor stepped out and went towards the limbless carcass of the robot. He dragged it into the TARDIS along with the limbs to hide evidence for when he returns the ship back to Sedranstan. The body and the limbs were placed inside the console room, underneath the main controls next to where the Doctor left his old tweed jacket. He then left the TARDIS to head off to the cryogenic freezing room where the lifeless body of a converted Simon was lying.
As he walked out of the door, he tripped over the gun which accidentally fired the gun towards a self-destruct button. The Doctor looked very worried as to what happened.
"Oh God. Just what I need." The sirens sounded for a two minute warning about the destruction. He sprinted at full pace towards the headless body of Simon. He was sweating for Raxacoricofallapatroius at this stage. The metal scraped across the floor as the alarm deafened the Doctor. He was panicking like mad. Luckily he had 30 seconds left to get inside the police box with a lump of metal dragging his weight down. The Doctor was scared to death and thought it would be pointless to try and dispose of a dead robot if the ship was going to explode anyway so he dropped it and ran inside the TARDIS. He whacked the switch on the console facing the entrance causing the trashed control room to be cleared out as it materialised. Heaps of unwanted parts flew out of the open doors right as it left. Just before it exploded, the TARDIS had fully faded. The flames from the engine spread throughout the ship and blew the craft to smithereens, sending a blast towards a corner of the diner and caving in the roof.

"Lucky escape I reckon, now for a change of clothes. Now where did I leave my ol-. Oh. Well, I am a young bloke now so I may as well change. I can't wear a leather jacket for long anymore and these jeans are really rough. How are these fashionable ?" He went towards his extensive wardrobe where he picked out a blue blazer, a white collar shirt, a green tartan tie and some black trousers along with some white Etnies shoes. He dumped the previously clothes he wore in a heap on the floor by several heaps he worn before.
"Right guys, where to next ? Oh. Yeah forgot about that."

When a game can set you up for life, a man with a talent for analysis gambles his future for a new lease on life. While traveling on the colony ship Pioneer Michael Wolfe and many others are logged into Project Looking Glass, a fully immersive Virtual Reality MMORPG set on the world they are traveling to. At the end of the journey all players will be permitted to keep the land they hold in the game as their homestead for the new colony. Michael Wolfe must put away the books of myth and folklore and push himself to his limit to achieve the start to his new life. Updates will come by chapter as I write them, so don't count on a solid release schedule (though I will try for a few chapters each week). Edit advice is always welcome, but please keep it polite. ((Cover is just a working cover until I can get some decent artwork)) Be advised that I am currently focusing on Hero's Call. Project Freelancer will continue/be rewritten in parts when I have finished the story arc I intend for Hero's Call.

Walter was a mage, and Walter wasn’t happy. Oh, being able to bend the rules of the universe to his whim was nice enough, but he yearned for the freedom of choice. Not just living forever – that part was easy, especially once you realized that a human body was more of a hindrance than a help. No, he would create a way for him to become a new person and live a new life as many times as he wanted. And he would sacrifice everything to achieve it. So, meet Walter – just as he is about to realize his dream of becoming someone else. Full Blurb:Walter, a gifted mage turned undead Lich, has created a highly complex ritual that allows him to transfer himself into a newly created human body. The first life he chooses is the exciting one of an adventurer – a government-funded guild of mercenaries that protect the citizens of his country from the ever-present monster threat. He wants to learn to fight monsters, enjoy the friendships and camaraderie of his companions, explore the land looking for long-lost ruins and make lots of exciting new experiences, all while staying completely under the radar.
