《Whodunnit 2》Chapter 24 - Resort Rumble

There wasn't any instruction per the killer the previous night, so the guests all got a well-deserved lay in that next morning.
Eventually, a small group of Brett, Chantal & Cecilia were the only ones awake and about the resort by 11 am. They had breakfast together outside by the pool bar and bonded as a trio.
"So, do you think Kendra's going to survive again?" Chantal asked first, bringing up the obvious question on everyone's mind.
Cecilia took a break from eating her array of fresh fruits she had plated for herself and took a moment to think. "Honestly, I don't. There's no way she can survive five times. She's either very lucky or she's the killer."
Brett nodded along with Cecilia's theory. "It makes sense, Kendra might be playing tricks on us and becoming deliberately scared. But I still don't trust Kristina or Troy, they're both acting sketchy."
"I don't like how quiet Kristina is," Chantal added.
"I still don't see any of us being killers. It doesn't make any sense why one of u-"
Cecilia's dialogue was cut off by a loud yet slightly muffled rumble coming from the main resort building. The whole island seemed to shake alongside the three guests in the tiny bar hut.
"Holy shit!" Brett cursed as he almost fell of his seat from the severity of the rumble.
Shortly afterward all three guests jumped out of their seats and ran towards the noise. It was clear to them that the next murder had obviously occurred.
Once the group of three had made it around the side of the building (where the parlour was situated) they saw the damage they had been expecting. The wall next to the parlour was completely destroyed, it had toppled over completely and bricks were scattered across the once beautiful pristine grass. With a quick peek inside, the three saw fire markings and some flames, as well as Troy Dreyford, sprawled out across the floor.

"Is he dead?" Brett said, with his voice still shaking slightly from the fright of the explosion.
"Yeah, he couldn't of survived that." Cecilia made a mental note of Troy's body, being severely scorched.
A few seconds later Giles arrived outside with the three guests.
"Ladies and Gentleman, I must move you away from this crime scene. The state of the building is not safe for you to be standing so close."
By this time, Grace had arrived outside.
"What happened?" The author asked hurriedly, still clearly in her pyjamas.
"Troy's dead. The explosion killed him." Chantal replied.
Grace's face dropped in despair. She felt sorry for the athlete, considering how she felt closest to him the most out of the others outside her alliance.
The group of guests were all moved to the doorway of the once building used for dinner, the buffet building.
"We're still missing two guests I see. I will quickly use the intercom system to attract their attention. Please stay put guests."
The four guests stayed in silence as they saw Giles disappear into a separate building and make an announcement. The intercom blasted throughout the whole island.
"Miss Clarke & Miss Dreyford, please reunite with your fellow guests at the buffet building. But, please be careful where you tread as a murder has just occurred."
It wasn't until a couple minutes later that Kendra arrived at the buffet building.
"Oh my gosh!" Grace's jaw dropped in shock as she saw her alliance member stroll towards herself and the others.
Kendra looked just as surprised as she finally came face to the face with the group. "I'm not dead?" The model asked, in as much disbelief as anyone.
"You've got amazing luck, Kendra." Brett (now the only Male left in the game) said before pulling another shocked expression.
"Five times you've escaped the killers wrath. I think we all need some of your luck." Chantal stated, chuckling slightly near the end.

However, Cecilia noticed something was wrong.
"Have you seen Kristina?" The single mother asked Kendra.
The model took a moment to think before answering.
"When I left my room I saw her door was slightly open so I assumed she was here?"
The guests all gave each other uneasy looks with Kendra's response.
It was Brett who decided to take charge and storm back inside the main resort building, in hopes of trying to find Kristina.
"We need to find her. Now." Brett sounded very authoritative as he led the girls (plus Giles) towards the main resort building.
Within a minute or so, everyone had climbed the marble staircase and stalled outside Kristina's room. Just like Kendra said, the door was slightly ajar. But upon the guests calling Kristina's name, there was no response.
Grace gingerly pushed the door fully open.
Kristina was laying on the floor in a similar position to Troy. Her right arm was elongated out, as if she was reaching for the door in front of her. To the guests, it was clear she had been brutally attacked. Since several stab marks were all over her body, alongside a small kitchen knife covered in the crimson liquid.
"Oh my god." Kendra said with a shaky voice.
Giles was prepared for this situation, and pulled out the note supplied by the killer he received in his butlers quarters that very morning. The guests all turned around to his direction after hearing the first few syllables fall out of the butlers lips.
"Surprise mortals! Two guests have now bit the dust. One piece of advice I would give to you is that you never take what I say in confidence. Giles was advised by myself to lie about how many would be killed off last night. And you all bought it by hook line and sinker. However, one thing you can assure I'll tell you the truth on, is that this will be the most complex murder/s to pull of yet. Why? Because I didn't commit one of the murders today. That's right, one of the Dreyford siblings bit the dust thanks to their own DNA. Your job today is to determine which sibling killed who and for why. And of course as always, how I killed one of the guests. This murder is going to require a lot of attention span and recall about what you've learnt about the guests in the previously days here on the island. Happy hunting, your killer."
The final five remaining guests all stood in the slightly cramped hallway in a collective shock.
"They were siblings!" Chantal called out in disbelief. "They never said to us they were siblings!"
"I'm gonna be sick." Kendra commented, imaging how the Dreyford's family must be feeling knowing that two family members have been murdered in cold blood.
Brett was just as shocked after the note. "Why did they never tell us they were brother and sister?"
Cecilia, however bit her tongue. She knew from day one that Kristina & Troy were brother and sister. This was due to the conversation the three of them had together before the game had even started. The single mother felt ridiculous that she hadn't said anything to the others but she genuinely forgot about the big secret.
Grace's eyes welled up with tears. She felt extremely emotional about the whole situation. The killer had managed to somehow pull of a double murder without having to do one of them. This made it clear that Grace couldn't let her game slip. She needed to keep up her momentum or she was going to end up like everyone else, laying on a morgue bed.
