《Whodunnit 2》Chapter 5 - A Meaty Breakfast

The next morning on the island, it was abnormally chilly. The weather was definitely a few degrees lower than it usually was. Giles, from his butlers quarters wondered if it was God punishing the butler for doing the game for the third time. But Giles knew he had to do it to survive, he wouldn't let himself get killed by the small group of killers.
It took the butler a long time to get out of bed that morning, but the ear piercing scream that came from the kitchen definitely woke him up. By the time that he had scattered out of his suite he saw Troy, Kristina, Grace, Mike & Jeremy all darting off in the direction of the scream. All of the guests stopped in their tracks when they saw Cecilia, standing in the doorway of the kitchen in the main resort building where they arrived.
"What's wrong? What happened?" Cecilia's alliance member, Grace, was the first to comfort her.
Cecilia pointed with a shaky hand. "He's dead."
The group of five (plus Giles) all then peered into the kitchen. Apart from the questionable chicken that was out on the island, they didn't see anything. Until they noticed the platters, the platters originally looked world-class. But however, the guests knew that the players were definitely no longer word-class, as Paul's decapitated head and limbs were scattered out.
"I think I'm gonna be sick." Mike commented as he ran away from the direction of the kitchen, mouth in hand.
Giles took charge of the hectic situation. "My dear guests. It would seem that the killer has struck again. You five," Giles pointed to Grace, Troy, Cecilia, Jeremy & Kristina. "Go get the others and tell them to meet me in the great room."
For a moment the group of five stood in shock, trying to soak in that Paul was really, actually dead.

"Now!" The butler suddenly erupted, quickly loosing his patience. The group of five then wasted no time, and collected all the guests and adjourned back to the great room.
On the way down to the great room, several guests congratulated Kendra on her survival, especially her alliance members. Who were probably the most excited.
Once the eleven guests gathered in the great room, Giles spoke.
"Well.." Giles clapped his hands together "It looks like round two has begun."

Modern Magic
A Modern Magician BookI looked up at the crooked holo sign while the perfectly bred woman read from a paper, a plastic smile glued to her face.'Welcome to The City,' she said in a fake voice. 'Once formerly known as New York, The City is a place filled with ancient and modern wonders. Remember, if you see any magicians please report to the nearest police station or Black Hand officer.'I smiled at the sign and then raised a single finger. No, not the middle one. A blue misty light spun from my finger and into the holo device. The message quickly changed from the fake woman to one of my own.'Welcome to The City,' the woman read, her hair now dyed a fuchsia. Her eyelids were a dark blue and her bottom lip and right eyebrow were pierced. 'A special message from Hecate, queen of magic.' The woman looked up at me, a smirk playing on her lips. 'Welcome to my city.'
