"Your alive" he whispered incredulously. He stood, his massive frame towered over mine. I could see his muscles through his black sk!n tight shirt. "I thought you died in the fire." I stepped forward "No,mother hid me, a wolf carried me to safety" " the wolves... " he shook his head trying to fight off the disbelief. My brothers handsome features made it clear that he was powerful, even his gaze that sweetly held mine had a predator under tone. A loud crashing noise broke us from our brief reunion. He glanced at the door then at me "I see you were the one that caused the chaos to my club" he whispered shaking his head. He stood up straight before reaching his muscled arm into his pocket pulling out a small remote.
He hit a button sending a television sliding out of the walls between the bookcase. The large television had many slots for sixteen different cameras. I could see Gabriel and Kyo still fighting off a hand full of vampires. Lance was in the hallway leaning against the wall staring at the ceiling. I wondered silently what he was doing, he glanced at the camera his eyes flashing crimson. The camera lens cracked into many faucets before a huge black square covered the screen he was once on.
"Lance?" Charity whispered. I looked at my brother praying silently that he didn't know that he was my mate." I thought he would have left with the crowd, but that's a long shot knowing how much he loves to fight" loves to fight? Lance rarely picked up a sword around me. He always used his words and rarely got angry unless i made him. These few days were the only time he had acted so out of character. Then again anyone would if they were about to get their heart ripped out.
I looked back towards the screen watching the horror fest as Gabriel and Kyo finished off the last of the vampires. I let out the breath i didn't know i was holding. "Those wolves they are not rogues are they?" he whispered more to himself than me. "No, they came with me" He looked at me with wide eyes. "Have you been with the wolves all this time?" "I shook my head, i have been with the murderer behind our parents deaths" "Why would you be there"He asked through clenched teeth. "Many complicated reasons i was there" Charity looked at me raising an eyebrow before running a hand through his hair. He hit the button once more before the television slid into place behind the shelf. I watched as in two long strides he sat back down in his chair. He fiddled with the thing called a phone before putting it to his ear. His chair turned so that he could face me as he spoke.

"Bring the car around to the club." He said with authority. He must have been talking with a subordinate,
"Yes of course find and hunt them down. Erase any trace of this night" he said before sitting the phone down. He laid his elbows on his desk clasping his hands together before laying his chin on his knuckles. "Care to take a seat Harmony" He nodded to a chair. In seconds i heard the pounding of feet down the hall before the door to his office swung open. Gabriel and Kyo were thrown inside by a large man whose massive frame could barely fit through the door. Gabriel stood dusting himself off before turning to face the retreating man. "Do that a again and I will kick your ass" he growled radiating alpha. The huge man took a retreating step backward before closing the door. Kyo grinned up at me as he combed through his hair with his hands. "That was a bigger rush than i anticipated." He stood before coming to stand by my side. His hand slid up the length of the arm chair before he lead against it. I could feel his eyes raking over my body for any injuries. I smiled up at him in assurance that the blood on my clothes were not my own.Gabriel took my other side. "Gabriel.Kyo this is my brother Charity Attlee" I whispered looking up at the strong gaze of my brother.
I could tell he didn't like my associating with wolves. Though he nodded towards them in greeting. The door opened once more closing smoothly behind the large frame of Lance. Lance scoweled at Charity before huffing down in a seat on the other side of the room. I could feel the warmth of his stare on me as he sat. I fought the earge to look at my mate. "So all the trouble makers are here am i correct." He said. I nodded in my brothers direction. "So two overly exuberant Werewolves, a trouble making princess, and a king who loves a chase. Exactly how i wanted to spend my night" he growled staring absently at Lance who didn't meet his gaze. He was staring holes into the sides of my face, i could feel his conscience caressing mine trying to get me to look at him.

My brothers phone vibrated on his desk, he smirked before answering the phone. "Yes Jessica, i am ....at the office.....my sister....i'll be home soon....yes.....I- i'm at the office not now....Jess...." he sighed turning the chair so that its back face us. "I love you too...no it wasn't hard...Ill see you in a minute" I couldn't help but smile at the back of his chair. "Mate troubles" Lance whispered. "Wouldn't you know it" My brother groaned. "I bet i could imagine" he said. I felt his eyes finally leave my skin. "So i guess the party will be moved to your humble abode"
My brother looked at him and grinned. "Why yes of course it feels to much like business in here and i cant relax. I need to get away from it some how. Its messing up the reunion between my sister." "Sister?" Lance asked. Charity nodded in my direction forcing me to look at Lance. His expression was confused then suddenly his lips began to curve into a smile.
My guard was at an all time high as we enter the back of Charity's limosine. Lance had somehow managed to slip between Kyo and Gabriel so that he was now sitting beside me. I could feel his breath at my neck as he stared down at me. His arm was around the seat i was in his other arm traced imaginary lines in my hand. I wanted so badly to pull away from him, but i was to taken in by his touch. My body craved it horrible wanting him to do more than just play with my hand. I stared at his beauful hand and long fingers. I could feel his chest against my shoulder, i took a deep breath letting my sense be over taken with his. "Content are you" he whispered through the bond as he kept his eyes on the other side of the limosine. Charity had road up front with the driver saying that he had to give him a piece of his mind.
"I don't know what you mean" I whispered back. "i can feel how relaxed you are right now" I gasped when the hand around the back of my seat began to play in my short hair. "Because i am relaxed. since i am in your company and i won't be leaving it. ahhh and of course love i am" I could feel his lips at my ear as he bit my ear lobe. "completely livid right now. so do not think i will not harm you in your brothers presence" I tried to move but his hand left my hand toucihng my cheek. He made me look at his magnificent face. I was completely taken in by his midnight eyes that were brimming with anger and happiness.
A shiver went down my spine as i could only think of what he was planning now. I had never thought he would find me so fast.
